despite the fact that both howe and loghain were dead, lily was not satisfied. the feeling she had expected to go away, the dread, the nightmares, the horror --- they stuck with her. it wasn't just about howe anymore, it was all of them. every single soldier that stepped foot in her home with a blade on their hand had to die or she wouldn't be able to rest.

without an actual obstacle to overcome, an enemy to defeat or a mission to complete, that feeling of emptiness and darkness inside of lily's mind only grew larger, swallowing her entirely. PTSD and other issues deriving from her past traumas such as night terrors, survivor's guilt, depression and sensation-seeking, coupled with the guilt on the decisions the made in the past, paved the path for lily to go almost insane.
