theo let a smirk creep onto his lips, giving her a small shrug of defeat. “ what can i say ? i’m greedy. ” he let out a small grunt as his stomach was poked, reaching for her hand quickly and then went in to tickle her in the same spot. “ oh i bet, but i can’t compete with the princesses. not if they’re anything like you at least. ” theo shook his head, he could barely compete with the males he knew, let alone the perfection that was women — and he didn’t mean to be biased, he just was. “ sorry, i offered first, so…” he shrugged, acting as if he truly was sorry, when he was more than happy to treat her. “ i don’t make the rules. ” there was no way he wasn’t going to let her treat him. especially when he knew he still had things on his mind and there was no denying that he was going to spill his guts once he was sat opposite her — he just couldn’t keep things from her, and he knew how good he’d feel once he spoke to her. she had a way of putting him at ease; no matter how bad he felt. “ well, that’s invigorating. ” theo teased, the sarcasm in his tone being too obvious to hide. “ uh, i’ve been going to class.., then i just kind of nap all day and… yeah. but i got to play with loads of cats yesterday, it was the best day of my life. i was kind of baked, though, so i think that helped because they were so soft. ” he nodded, smiling at yesterday’s events before widening his eyes slightly at the realisation he still hadn’t smoked his joint. taking it from his pocket, he lifted it up and offered it to her. “ you want some ? “

theo pursed his lips, wanting to just drag her to his room and forget that anything was ever wrong but he knew that she’d worry more about it than he would so it was best to just act normal. his mouth automatically pouted at the mention of other people she missed, a little jealous if he was being honest. “ no, i’d be selfish and have you all to myself. ” theo said confidently, since that’s definitely what he would have done, despite talking in hypotheticals. his hands instinctually move to the back of her head as he played with her hair. “ next time i’ll have come out of my apartment sooner, ” theo nodded to himself as a reminder –– he often forgot how much he loved her company and if it was an easy way for him to feel better then he’d definitely at least think about it. “ ah, but a princess like you has a long list of potential prince charmings wanting your attention so i should have fought them all off with my texts. ” theo joked, though he knew he probably wasn’t exactly her first choice when it came to some things, and he definitely wouldn’t be if he didn’t try for her attention more often. “ yeah, my treat. ” he smiled, this time genuine as he started walking toward the shop where he assumed she’d be getting coffee. “ so, what have you been up to ? ”

“ you know me, i love surprises. ” theo chuckled softly, his hold on her growing a little tighter now she knew he wasn’t a potential murderer. at her question, theo hesitated for a moment. his heartbeat sped up the tiniest amount, unsure if he should go into it all with her, especially since he now felt more than fine with her in his arms. “ i’m okay. better now anyways. ” theo offered a small, almost false, smile, even if she couldn’t see it he was just used to the habit. he couldn’t help but feel himself sink slightly once she kissed his hand –– only to roll his eyes in amusement at her wiping it after. it simply made him more happy to know he’d have a little mark of her there. letting her go only to spin her around, he let his arms fall upon her shoulders. “ you missed me ? why didn’t you say so ? i’d have broken into delta nu just to see you. ” part of him knew he wasn’t joking, despite the playfulness in his voice, he felt like he’d do anything she asked. “ sorry, i should have texted you –– i wanted to. ” theo admitted, but he didn’t like being around people when he felt so low, and although she was an exception, he wouldn’t want her to see him like that. “ what are you doing now ? we could hang out. ”

          𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄, 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐉𝐀𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄𝐒 & 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐒. for as long as they knew, people were too intimidated to try to get close, deeming them too difficult a puzzle to solve. so when a select few SCURRIED their way under the layers of their depths, it took them by surprise. gabriella’s burst ins never got any easier to understand, but they were always welcomed. a mixture of tired ( despite sleeping for twelve hours yet again ) & grouchy, maxine groaned in response to the sunshine woman making himmeer way into their bed. still, they wrapped their limbs around her, ENTANGLING them together. ❝ miss you too … ❞ they spoke, a gravely tone to their voice, eyes fluttering shut against the comfortable environment they found themselves in. ❝ we can both be the residential van wilders of nyu ? um … classes have started already ? i feel like i missed that particular memo … ❞ though they laughed, an airy titter, they were completely serious, having forgotten to go to class yet again. their alarms reminded them otherwise, but they never could keep up & they couldn’t be BOTHERED to try.

theo was heading out, hoping to get some fresh air–– he’d been cooped up in his room for a few days now and things tended to go downhill for him if he didn’t remember to actually breathe some oxygen once in a while. of course he couldn’t leave the apartment empty handed and placed the joint between his lips to prepare to light. before he got the chance to, he spotted someone familiar; someone who had already managed to brighten his mood in just that split second. heading over, his arms draped over gabbie’s shoulders, hugging her from behind. “ hey, princess. ” theo whispered, resting his chin on her head.

               𝐏𝐎𝐔𝐓   𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐒   𝐎𝐍   𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀'𝐒   𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒   𝐀𝐒   𝐇𝐄𝐑   𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓    slowly   leaves   her   ,   running   out   of   things   to  complain   about   .   not   to  mention  ,   gabriella   was   giving   her   just   what   she   wanted   :   someone   to  agree  with   her   complaints  .   not   that   it   was   out   of   the   ordinary   for   the   pair   ,   but   it   still   calmed   her   down  .   ❝    how    has    no   one    seen   a   rat   before   ?   what  kinda’   life   are   they   living   to   freely   go   without   ever   seeing   a   rat  ,   ‘cause   i   wanna   live   that   life  .   ❞     a   grin   finally   pulls   at   her   features   at   the  mere   possibility   of   finding   parties   off   campus  ,    arm   tightens   around   the   others  &   a   small  jump   in   her   step   begins   .    ❝     hell  yeah  !   everyone   here   is   tiring   .   you   need   to   get   laid   ,   i   need   to    get    laid    &    the   people   just   aren’t    cutting   it   around   here   .    we’re    gonna   have   a   great   time               just   you  &   me   .     finding   the   parties   is   the   easiest   part   .    ❞

      it wasn’t usually like gabriella to just lose focus and completely daydream. the girl was always thinking about something -- her school work, her family, food.. there was rarely any time where she actually let herself relax and take it easy, but the thing that had been occupying her mind had actually been james oh. she had no idea what she found attractive about him --- she knew it wasn’t just his devilishly handsome good looks, but it definitely had to do with the fact that he was beyond intelligent and sweet too. it wasn’t often that gabbie got tongue tied around people, but james was one of those people. “speak of the devil..” she mumbled under her breath as she noticed the boy, hurriedly packing up her things so she could ‘accidentally’  bump into him. it wasn’t even like she was trying to actively pursue things with the boy, she just liked having a dumb high school like crush on him. “hey, i’ll see you later!!” she called out to a random person in the library, flashing the confused person a small smile before walking backwards, doing her best to steer herself in the direction of the boy -- and thankfully, it worked. she instantly stumbled back but thankfully caught herself before she fell over, or worse, stumbled into him and made him lose his footing too. “oh uh..” she started, licking her lips as she turned around. “i-i’m sorry.. i didn’t realise you were there.” 

     “i miss yoooou..” gabriella playfully cooed towards max, the biggest pout now resting upon her face as she moved into the other’s room. she didn’t care if she was invited in or not, she was going to make her presence known. she was known for being incredibly loving and touchy with her sisters -- and if anyone knew best, it truly was max. “i think i’m already just going through it because i know this is my last year with you -- you know.. you should consider just failing this year so you can repeat it all with me.” gabbie grinned, climbing onto the other’s bed and stretching her legs out with a yawn. “how have your classes been going though? i hope everything’s going well so far because no one deserves to be stressed already.”
