Mixing Digital Sculpture With Real Objects 

Demonstration by Greg Petchkovsky on using current technology creatively, making objects designed on a computer to be placed in the real world. There are a couple more examples of this technique other than the one pictured above:

Dirt Poster is a Design and Graphic-Design work made by Roland Reiner Tiangco, a new graduate of a Design School, living in New York. While handling the poster, your hands starts to get dirty, and this dirt allows you to see what’s the poster is all about. Check out also the artist’s Website.

“A new bottle for German herbal liquor brand, Jägermeister. The result of a major redesign of the green, medicinal-looking glass bottle that Jägermeister traditionally came in—Kirilin’s matte black bottle only retained the original’s boxy, rectangular shape.  At room temperature, the bottle would seem to be a nondescript, all-black container. However, after placing it in a fridge, the bottle’s thermo-sensitive label would gradually appear—like magic.”

My name is Semyon Kirilin, I’m 22. I’m the art director, graphic designer and copywriter from Moscow. In design nine years already. All this time constantly working in various advertising agencies, publishing and design offices, constantly improving my skills and knowledge quality. Now I’m study at the British Higher School of Design on Visual Communications(art direction) course. Served in the army, received a diploma.
