The sudden tug on his body shocked the young leader, and before he knew it, he was pulled into different surroundings. He felt secluded here. He felt safe. Rika didn’t even give Narumi the chance to protest before he was pushed down to the ground. He gave a look of panic to the blonde, and stared speechlessly. 

Well, that was a very brash call to action there.

❝Rika, I’m alright–❞ He started, but soon realized that she wasn’t giving up with this interrogation. He frowned, shaking his head in response.

❝It’s far too dangerous to sleep right now. I’ll be paying more attention, honestly. I’m not just watching over you and my squad; I have a whole other squad to watch for, and they’re a lot younger than us. Not to mention, not saying any names… A certain someone from Shinoa’s squad can’t follow orders at all. Their thick skull is going to land a lot of us in hot water if Shinoa can’t keep him under control.❞

       Rika pursed her lips before sitting beside him. “Shusaku is worried as well, the whole squad is.” While Rika herself didnt have the patience of a god herself, she would be a good person, she would watch over the others. “Sit here with me for a little bit then ok?” She moved to sit next to him, moving her skirt the best she could to sit over it.

       “I know. Shinoa is annoying, bothersome, their whole squad is wild and has gotten in trouble with Guren before. But that doesnt mean you need to stress yourself out.” She bit her lip, scratching the back of her neck. “As much as i love you, you need to sleep at least a little bit.” She licked her lips.

❝Right, Right. Of course.. I’ll make sure to be more alert then..❞ His voice was light as he averted his gaze from the female once she scolded him. She was right. He was the leader, he was supposed to be on guard at all times. To be ready for anything. Honestly, he was thankful that Rika didn’t give him more of a scolding. 

When Rika whispered to him with concern, Narumi glanced back over to her. He gave a smile, and nodded to her question. ❝I’m quite alright, Rika. I’m..– I’ve just been thinking about things a lot, is all..❞ He had to admit, having to watch over not only his squad, but now Shinoa’s… tended to get overwhelming. He actually couldn’t recall the last time he got a solid eight hours of sleep. 

❝ Thank you for your concern, though. I appreciate it.. ❞

       She shook her head, tugging him to somewhere closer. Pushing him to sit down Rika crouched, the best she could without flashing everyone. Gripping his hand softly Rika sighed. “Makoto you need sleep, You’re probably thinking of that Hiiragi’s squad.” She glanced behind at both squads.
