Delic watched as the rain hit against his window, his head resting in his hand as his eyes appeared glazed. He was in a trance, ignoring the droplets as they slid down the glass-- his pinkish hues focused more so on the events within the storm. Ikebukuro, no matter the weather, was always so lively.
Parades of people stormed through the rainfall, not even the darkest cloud altering their schedule. Delic eyed a father scolding his daughter playing in a puddle, but eventually turned his gaze to an woman on her phone running rampantly through the streets. A different woman, an aberration like himself, eventually flew by on a motorcycle whose noises quite resembled a horse. A crowd of police cruisers followed close behind, sirens blaring as people stopped to watch the chase.
Delic huffed. No, none of this was out of the ordinary.
And frankly, it bored him.
Ikebukuro was no average city. Delic, a machine built to mimic a man who very much defied existence, knew this well. But once this not-so-average city became everyday life, what more could someone do to spice things up?
His brow began twitching, a scowl on his lips before he shoved himself out of his seat. Just sitting here and grumbling about it wouldn’t make things better. And so, the blonde grabbed his jacket from a nearby chair, throwing it over his shoulder as he ran out the door.
