the best part about being a metallica fan is that they release a live album for EVERY SINGLE SHOW

they’ve been doing this since 2004 and usually they’re mixed internally by someone on the metallica team, but on this tour every show is mixed by the guys who mixed their new album, so it sounds suuuuper good. it’s like a dream come true

i recorded the intro plus the first two songs of the metallica concert in denver in crispy 60fps. i’d by lying if i said i didn’t tear up at around 0:45 (’: i was almost on the railllll at a show full of 60,000 people, about to see my favorite band of all time for the first time in 9 years. it was incredible. possibly the best night of my life
