Harold and Mildred on location for NUMBER PLEASE? with the Venice Miniature Railroad.
"Walking down Broadway alone after dinner, I saw in lights on the marquee of the Strand Theater at Forty-seventh Street, Pauline Frederick in BONDS OF LOVE. I stopped with professional interest. Then, with no preparation, I saw in more lights—red, white and blue—over the portal of the theater, HAROLD LLOYD IN BUMPING INTO BROADWAY. "You may never have seen the Great White Way and know or care nothing of the theater, and still I need not tell you what it means to any actor to see his name in lights on Broadway for the first time. My heartbeat jingled the coins in my pocket, my legs wavered weakly and I stood staring, mouth open, until I woke to a fear that I might be attracting attention. So, closing my mouth, I strolled back and forth, but never took my eyes from that rainbow. The picture’s title had been pure chance. BUMPING INTO BROADWAY!" [BUMPING INTO BROADWAY was also playing at the Rialto Theatre with Harold's name in lights farther down Broadway on that day in November 1919.]

In conference for GIRL SHY.
That's Harold's empty chair and Kodak film box. He couldn't wait to get back to taking pictures at Disneyland. With Mildred, Roy Brooks, Miss Kitty (governess), and Suzanne (who eats faster now).
Harold wishes all mothers a wonderful Mother’s Day! :)
Playtime In the library at Greenacres. (3-D photo)
“The Kid Brother.” Jobyna Ralston was such a lucky girl! ;)

Harold interrupted the maharajah's coffee break. Notice cup in the background (close-up in comment).
THE KID BROTHER - Beyond comedy, the threat is real. A matter of life or death.
1927: On the set of “The Kid Brother” having a quick conference about camera angles.
Out of Harold's private collection: A photo button souvenir from Las Vegas, New Year's Eve 1968. Dave Nowell, Suzanne Lloyd, Rich Correll, and Harold Lloyd. Dave and Rich saved many of Harold's original film elements that only existed as nitrate negatives or prints.
NEVER WEAKEN, live on Facebook, with guest Suzanne Lloyd, Monday April 27 at 7:30 PM Pacific Time. https://www.facebook.com/events/302674480721171/

Everything's nicer when you're in love like Harold and Mildred!
Sandoni had just killed a man, and Harold was next in line. The danger was genuine. To call THE KID BROTHER merely a "slapstick comedy" would be unfair and unkind. Terrible things happen to people in slapstick comedies, but they don't die. Here's what Harold had to say about slapstick: "People speak about them being slapstick all the time, well, that's not the right name for the type of comedy that we did, because while there was lots of slapstick in it, it was broad comedy, it was farce comedy, it was light comedy, it had moments of dramatic comedy, it was a blend of many different types of comedy and was far removed from what you might call just slapstick."
