Edward let out a sharp gasp when Bruce finally spoke. âHow dare you. I donât have to prove anything to you.â He snapped, crossing his arms. âWe both know Iâm the smartest man here. This has nothing to do with that. If this puzzle were about brains we would be out by now. Or at the very least, I would be. The glaring issue here is my lack of strength. Neither of us could pry the doors open because this building installed interlock devices.â He glared at the other man when he mentioned rescuing him. It was true that occasionally Batman had to help him out a dangerous situation or two but he didnât appreciate the comment. âIâd like to see you get out of this one with no utility belt.â He scoffed.Â
.
Bruce couldnât stop the smirk on his face at the otherâs reaction something about getting under Edwardâs skin really seemed like a wonderful idea. âOh, so our past years of you attempting to get my attention that was just a phase?â He replied back with a raised eyebrow before looking at the other âThis still counts as a puzzle if you look at it as an obstacle that needs to be defeated, but maybe that isnât really where your smarts lieâ He replied offhandedly moving to hit the elevator call help button âThat didnât work which means this could be power outage meaning I hope your arms are stronger then they look?â He asked moving towards the door waiting for the other to join.
