I’m sorry I am so inactive again after only coming back a while ago! I need to put this blog back on temporary hiatus, due to an immense lack of time for the amount of blogs I have AND the incredible amount of stuff I have to do for my university studies this semester!

“Da…?” Sigrid quickened her pace a little to catch up to where her father walked at the front, glancing quickly backwards to make sure Bain and Tilda were not trying to catch up with her. 

Bard had been so deep in thought his daughter’s words caught him off guard. He looked at her, the concern in her voice making his heart ache. He remembered the day he had first held her in his arms, nothing but a little baby she had been back then, and the things he had sworn to her that day. To protect her from harm and sadness, to ensure her life would be one of joy and not of fear - to think of it now and know how much he had failed at it hurt. After quickly throwing a glance back at the other two, he turned back to his eldest, forcing his voice to be strong but quiet in his answer.

there is a peal of laughter that bubbles at his words of praise. it seemed so strange to receive them from someone that was deemed a HERO for his brave acts. ❝  there is no debt to pay, dragon slayer.  ❞ but she does not miss his last request, offering it fully with a soft bow of her head.
