good evening my beloved mutuals. starting from next saturday i'll be on holiday and i'd like to read as many books as possible so please - send me some recs!!!!!! fiction and non-fiction alike :-) thank youuuu <3 <3 <3 <3

if you know me and my lore you know i love to snoop around real estates websites and omg i found the loveliest countryside cottage (that needs heavy renovations) and i sent it to my sister and said "fuck [my city] i'm gonna buy this house and make it as an b&b to pay the mortgage isnt it sooo lovely imagine if i could plant hydrangeas in the flowerbeds in front of the house" and she immediately responded with "you and mum are the same, with your stupid ideas. renovating costs would be double the amount of purchase price. it's not worth it" and i'm like. do you have no whimsy. do you not like to fantasise. daydream a lil bit. why is she such a sad person i have no idea. we literally grew up in the same house with the same mother.

told my mum yesterday and now I’m visiting her and she sat down for 2 hours explaining all the ways she’d renovate it, and how she would make it into a b&b, her expenses estimate etc etc etc. see, my sister is the boring one 🗣️
