I decided to talk about women and the way society thinks that they way they dress is only based on men and how they think that women are sex objects. I found informations about this subject not only by the internet but also based on our everyday reality.

Women and the Way They Dress

The way women dress doesn’t have an effect on whether they are asking to be sexually assaulted or not. In our society, there are people who think women who show more skin are more likely to be raped then women who show less. There have been many court cases that have men stating that the clothes the victim wore encourage them to do things to them without their consent. Many people have a strong opinion on how women should dress so they don’t distract men, when they should have an opinion on how men should respect women. Women shouldn’t be afraid to wear clothing they like or feel comfortable in.

A judge of the United Stated government basically says that woman’s clothing teases men and they should dress more modest. There are tons of rape court cases that have how the women dress under evidence to state she was teasing the men. The Judge is sexualizing women by saying they’re sex object. So, no matter what women do they will tease men because they are “sex objects”. Teasing men is a big deal in woman’s choice of words .

When really anybody wearing any type of clothes could be easy targets. No matter what a person wears and does they could be raped and sexually assaulted. Easy targets shouldn’t be defined of what you wear when it’s really is how kind you are or even how little or strong you may be . You see Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration carried out against a person without that person's consent. The act may be carried out by physical force, coercion, abuse of authority, or against a person who is incapable of giving valid consent, such as one who is unconscious, incapacitated, has an intellectual disability, or is below the legal age of consent. The term rape is sometimes used interchangeably with the term sexual assault.People who have been raped can be traumatized and  develop post-traumatic stress disorder Serious injuries can result along with the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. A person may face violence or threats from the rapist, and, sometimes, from the victim's family and relatives .

But what is even worst is that as a society we actually have to remind people not to rape and we actually have to make anti-rape adverts.
