Oddly Drawn Skeletons

[I’ve been working in a diner for a few months now and these are just a few things that I’ve heard.]

-“We’re surrounded by lakes. It can’t be that hard.” “Sharks don’t live in lakes, you idiot.”

-“I need your strongest coffee right now or I’m going to die.”

-“What the hell is that?” “It’s called bread.”

-“People don’t like it when you finger their lemons, it’s not hygienic.” [I actually know the context of this, but it’s a long story.]

-“Can I help you?” “No, I’m just lusting after your pies.”

A few days ago in English, Matt was talking with this one girl and she called him gay. He started backing up saying “What do you mean? I’m not gay! Totally hetero. 100% completely hetero.” and continued saying this whilst grabbing Gavin’s hand and snuggling up to him.

In biology we were learning about the carbon cycle or whatever and the teacher said “The carbon goes both ways.” and I hear Gavin behind me giggle and whisper “same..”
