Throwing back to my first meal while having our field to Bicol.

It has been a year since I have been a part of the 43rd International Forestry Students’ Symposium. The activity was organized by AFFS-UPLB. 

Since my two organizations were invited to co-organize the event, I have been given the opportunity to be a member of the documentation and volunteer committees. Specifically, I served as one of the photographers, hosts, and volunteers.

I had fun sharing and talking about a lot of things with the delegates. And because of this, I have made a lot of friends locally and abroad. Among the jolliest and friendliest of all are the Mexicans. Our countries really have a lot in common.

If you’re going to scroll through my posts, you’ll notice that most of my shots feature the same person. Actually, she’s a close friend of mine. We have been friends since freshman since we are from the same bloc, BSDC WX1. 

Having a circle of friends full of photography enthusiasts, beauty queens, dancers, and artists, you could say that our friendship was built over vanity and not mostly by common interests (LOL).

Anyway, this is the fourth photoshoot that we did for a dance cover. And she really did a great job. 

I had fun during our photoshoot. We did a lot of improvisation with the props depending on what we can find in our apartment.

Did a little experiment with my housemates last Saturday. It has been a long time since my last posting here on Tumblr, I think my feed could use a bit of refreshments.

It was really a very beautiful site to see wildlife species on their natural habitat. Sadly, the place is relatively disturbed having the site along the road. Nevertheless, preexisting laws and ordinances protecting wildlife help in regulating human activities in the area .

Attend the UP Photographers' Society orientation on February 2, 2016 (Tuesday) at the DL Umali Lobby.

I will never stop admiring the beauty of my hometown.

This shot was taken a year ago, the famous Taytay Falls (also known as Imelda Falls/Majayjay Falls) located at Brgy. Taytay, Majayjay, Laguna. The falls is about two-storey high, with waters that is as cold as chilling ice (kidding, but you get the point).

I have been here just a couple of weeks ago for a field visit in one of my courses this semester, WLDL 101 (Introduction to Philippine Wildlife). We’ve surveyed the area for species diversity of mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles. 

I am glad and proud to know that just around our backyard, is a place that is rich and blessed with natural beauty and biodiversity.

Some of the shots I took on one of our client shoots. It was a theatrical play Directed by Mr. Joey Ting, and participated by students of the university and some of the DHum faculty.

The play was entitled “Ang Barbero ng Laguna.” It was a love story with a mix of comedy. I have never been a fan of plays in general but I had fun watching it, tbh. 

I have been given the opportunity to watch it for free (one of the perks of being a Litratista) and have been able to watch my friends (Matel Patayon, KC Abila, Doreen Lipit, Papat Catriz) act on stage.
