reflecting on my life a little bit tonight (must be because I'm turning the big 4-0 next month) ... so crazy that this pic was taken after a 10 hour flight to study for a master's degree in a foreign country...somehow i figured out how (and where) to catch the tube to my dorm...by myself...toting 3 huge bags of luggage...i remember how terrified i was and how much i cried on the flight...talk about stepping out on nothing but faith...

My 3rd 60+ hour work week in a row. On top of finding out that I have no iron in my blood naturally to keep my body running normally. On top of having 12 pounds of tumors in my body. On top of feeling like I'm seconds away from a nervous breakdown. But, somehow, we manage to keep going, don't we?
