willerie: âSomeone around here should show you the ropes.â
âAre you sure this is the right place?â Valerie peered our the car window, ââŚ.where are we?â Valerie trusted Natalie completely when it came to most things, but driving and navigating was not one of them.
âThis is the right address,â Natalie said, double checking the handwritten note she held in her free hand.
There wasnât any sign of a house: only tall trees towering over them as they headed down a gravel road. It felt like theyâd left Virginia Beach altogether. Eventually a house did come into view, nestled amongst the trees.
Natalie was meeting a boy from her class to work on a project. Bobby had been supposed to drive Valerie and Seth home from school but he and Valerie had gotten into a fight and so (unsurprisingly) when 3:00 rolled around, he was a no show, meaning they both had to tag along with their sister.
âAre we going to get murdered?â Seth teased, following his sisters to the door. He was still laughing when a boy about Natalieâs age answered the door. He was scowling. Sethâs laughter stooped abruptly. He looked terrified.
âWhatâs with the kids?â He asked.
âOh, sorry! Owen, this is my sister, Valerie, and my brother, Seth. Iâm so sorry, is it okay that I brought them? I should have called to tell you. But theyâve got their own homework to do. I promise they wonât get in the way! They were supposed to grab a ride with Bobby ⌠but he ended up not being able to âŚâ
âSheâs just being nice,â Valerie interjected, still bitter about the entire situation . âHe ditched us.â
âThat kidâs an ass,â Someone said. The Connors turned to see a young man a few years older than Owen make his way into the living room. âHey, Iâm Will. Owenâs brother.â
Owen and Natalie got to work on their project (and by that, I mean Natalie pulled out her binders and poster board and markers and Owen groaned). Meanwhile, Will has given Valerie permission to raid their kitchen for whatever she could find after Seth complained he was hungry.
âWonât your parents mind?â Valerie asked.
âNo, no parents,â Will said, âThis is my place,â Valerie couldnât help but note the pride in his voice as he announced it. âI just bought this it and Owen came to live with me. Since then our parents have kind of âŚâ
âDone their own thing?â Valerie finished the sentence for him. âYeah. Ourâs too.â
He gave her a sympathetic smile. There was a pause, as he considered how to change the subject. âSo how do you know Bobby?â
âHeâs my boyfriend.â
âOh.â He paused, âUh, sorry for calling him an ass.â
Valerie laughed, âNo, itâs okay. He is one, most days. I guess I just put up with him because heâs not as much of an ass as my sisterâs boyfriend.â That wasnât exactly true. She put up with him because he hadnât always been like this with her. She was holding on to those good memories, kidding herself that one day it would be like that again.
âUh, yeah, I heard your sister was dating Max. I was expecting ⌠â
âSomeone different?â
âYeah.â
âSheâs way too good for him.â Valerie said, crossing her arms. Bobby hadnât always been like this, but sheâd never seen anything good come from Max.
âSomeone around here should show you the ropes.â Will said.
âAre you offering?â Between Bobby, Max, and Seth crushing hard on Rachel Lloyd, Valerie often felt like theyâd landed in with the wrong people since moving here.
âMe? No. Iâm not really the welcoming committee type. And my kid brother isnât either.â
âReally? Wow, I didnât get those vibes at all.â Valerie teased.
âYeah, Owen can be a lot, at first, ⌠but heâs a good kid. Look, if you wanna meet some great people, talk to Drew Weisman. Heâs in class with Owen and your sister. I think you guys would end up being friends.â
thereâs nothing more satisfying than the sound of hitting someone solid in the fucking jaw.
âafter all these years, you still havenât changed a bit.â colin adams x annie simmons
They finally did it. Kara and Annie finally hosted a goddamn party and so far, itâs the best one of the summer. Or at least, thatâs according to these two girls who although are the hostesses of the party, are already drunk on the high of success and two shots of tequila.
Thank goodness John, Sallyâs older brother, said heâd be their designated non-drunk host for the night. Leaving his sister and her friends to go a little wild at the best party of the summer. Duh.
So, you can imagine Annieâs excitement when Owen makes an appearance at her party. Sure, yes, heâs come with Birdie who is obviously the one who dragged him to come along, but still. Heâs here. And well, after all, he is the one who got away. Perhaps, tonight - in her shiny glory of an amazing party - Owen will finally realize what heâs been missing.
Sheâs tipsy enough not to care about any awkwardness to follow. All Annie can think about are Owenâs rough hands running through her hair, down her back, and up her thighs. She picks him up a beer and hides it behind her back as she heads in his direction.
âHey guys,â Annie says overly friend, reaching over to give Birdie a hug - of course not noticing Owenâs change in expression.
âOh, Birdie, I love the dress!â She adds, looking her friend over as Birdie gives a shy smile and repeats compliments herself. âListen, you have to have Sally and Kara give you one of our jello shots - seriously,â she adds, giving her a push towards the other two girls.
Of course, never noticing Birdieâs little shrug to Owen as she mouths a promise to be back.
âOwen,â Annie says, as her gaze shifts to him a bright smile on her lips, âLooks like itâs just the two of us,â she hands him the beer she brought him, âFor you.â
âOh jolly,â he mumbles but takes the beer. At least lately Owen doesnât hate her anymore because sheâs not been as crazy; sheâs been able to hide the crazy - aka work really hard on making amends with people.
âOh!â Annie letâs out suddenly, âI have to show you something!âÂ
Without any warning, she grabs his hand and pulls him along her. Annie is too focused to notice Owen isnât a willing participant, but her sudden movement leaves him a bit too dazed to respond quick enough.
Squeezing through the different people, Annie pulls him all the way into her bedroom and toward her closet to show him â well, they stumble into it and crash into some of her clothes. Annie lets out a loud giggle and Owen, unwillingly, lets out a laugh too.
âOops.âÂ
âYou are insane,â he mumbles, while Annie pulls him closer.
âYeah,â she says cheekily, âInsane about you âŚâ
Itâs a weird turn of events because Owen actually seems to be having a nice time and willingly closing the space between them.
âWhat did you want to show me?â He asks, his voice quiet as if they are in a secret hiding place.
Eyes on his, Annie says softly, âI forget now.â
It feels like the air in the room leaves just as Owenâs lips touch hers. He smells like sawdust, gravel, and dirt. God, itâs everything she thought it would be and then â
âAfter all these years, you still havenât changed a bit,â she hears from a familiar voice and instantly pushes Owen away.
There in middle of her room stands Colin Adams. Her best friend Colin Adams. You know, Colin Adams who two days ago, Annie had told she was done chasing after past mistakes. Weirdly, heâd asked her about Owen and sheâd told him she was over him. Itâd seem to make Colin happy at the time - for a reason, Annie hadnât been clear about.
The look on her best friendâs face seemed to send a chill down her spine. Sheâd hurt him. The look he had was one of hurt. And then it got worse because he moved, he turned his gaze from her and left. Annie instantly pushed Owen out of her way, every once of alcohol draining from her system.
Without another word, she rushed after Colin - hearing some vague words from Owen as she left him behind. Nothing made sense other than finding Colin and she had to find him now.Â
Eventually, she caught him just outside her apartment building. Must not have been going fast, she thought briefly.
âColin!â She yells at him. âStop!â He did and turned in her direction. âWhat happened, what do you mean?â
Heâs silent for a while before he shrugs, hands in his pockets, âItâs what you do.âÂ
âWhat do I do?â She demands.
âAlways looking to get loved by the guys who donât actually love you.â His voice is quiet but steady. Their gaze never leaves each other but Annie is left without words.
Colin breaks the silence, âLook, Iâll see you tomorrow, okay?â
Before he leaves though, Colin approaches her and places a soft kiss on her forehead. His lips feel warm. Annie doesnât want him to go but as swiftly as heâd appeared in her bedroom, his figure is out of her sight.Â
â
And then, the bright summer sun stings against Annieâs eyes, she wakes up abruptly and sheâs not sure if it were all a dream or real.

*a few days ago*
me: *gets out of car in small, almost forgotten mountain town*
me: *narrows eyes*
me: *sniffs air*
me: the selznicks lived here
âI grew up on a farm where we had one radio station and it was all country.â
Itâs called work and not stalking people | owen + annie
Annie tried her hardest not to roll her eyes, though she was tempted. Gosh she was tempted. Owen and his stubbornness and his arm crossed over his chest defensively and his eyes, oh his eyes â Luckily he agreed before she could spend too much staring at him.Â
A light sigh a escaped her lips when he agreed and her shoulders dropped in relief.
At least now she wouldnât have to make another trip here and she would be a liar if she said part of her wasnât even a small bit pleased she was stuck with Owen. Sheâd stopped inventing reasons to see him and when she did, it was in passing, and well, now they had at least 20 minutes togetherâŚ
âYes, of course, no interview, itâs already happened anywaysâŚâ she mumbled, thoughtlessly, lifting her camera higher, âJust pictures.â
She could always see the suspicion grow in his eyes, âNot of you, of the grounds. I promise.â Annie could tell she wasnât convincing him, so she added, âIâll even let you look through the photos at the end if you donât believe me.â
He grumbled a response and gestured with his head for her to follow him. He wasnât sure where she wanted to start, but honestly he didnât particularly care. Heâd been tired of standing there in the showroom, under the fluorescents and this, at least, gave him a chance to go outside.Â
The day was warm, but there was a nice salty breeze that was coming up from the ocean. Not for the first time Owen regretted that Selznick Outdoors was (ironically) more inside than out. They did bike rentals (and canoes too if anyone wanted to go out on the bayside). They had a line-up of both out back and, Owen supposed that would make a cool shot. Maybe sheâd get their sign in there, somewhere.Â
He gestured broadly towards them as if to say âhave at itâ. He didnât particularly want to say more than he had to. He didnât have anything to say to her that he hadnât already said. He certainly didnât want to encourage her, especially now that she had seemed to being coming round less and less.Â
âThose are the rentals,â He explained, âOur new stock is all inside.âÂ
OOC | Cece & Owen
So Iâm not really sure how this interaction would go?  Hahaha but anyway, I def think these two would know each other bc of Ceceâs connection to Ginny and thereby to the Weisnick-Connors clan hahaha  Thoughts?
okay yeah so they probs do know each other that way??? I feel like ginny kinda half lives at the selznicks house b/c drew makes her b/c of max hahaha and so like idk that she really has friend over there too often b/c ~actual crowded man cave~ but theyâve probably met that way? and I feel like cece is probs at a lot of connors/selznick things??? that being said, idk if they really would interact that much? i mean owen lowkey is like âthe friend of my friend is my friendâ but heâs also like âthat doesnât mean i have to like itâ smdh so he doesnât really wanna hang out with her or talk to her but he probably likes her???? idk???? heâs so???? weird????Â
OOC | Adam & Owen
Ok, so I feel like there are a couple different possibilities for these two (bc theyâd def know each other, between Valerie and Drew, yeah?)
They hate each other, given that Adam is sarcastic s.o.b. and Owen is, well, Owen, thereâs tons of potential for their personalities to clash
They are buddies.  Adam totally gets Owenâs enjoyment of the quiet and respects his attitude towards ~other people, which isnât exactly a common interest but yknow the enemy of my enemy⌠;D
Some weird combo of the two: they get aspects of each other, but other parts really grate on them and honestly somedays they get along and others theyâre plotting murder
Theyâre indifferent hahaha
Something else????
okay so I feel like the first couple of times owen met adam he HATED him and was like âwtf connors/drew why are you friends with this assholeâ basically bUT I feel like after max/natalie and when adam went and pulled whatever pranks (i canât remember what it was now but I remember you saying something about it haha) on max owen was like RESPECT and I feel like owen realized that this kid actually has a heart and is super protective of the people he loves and honestly thatâs something owen can get behind especially since they have a lot of ppl in common that they care about haha and like I can even see him lending a hand to adam sometimes haha especially if/when adam ever does anything like illegal/REALLY mean (like I feel like drew helps him w/ a lot of pranks but heâs not as insensitive as adam and I can see him being like âwhoa too far manâ sometimes but owen doesnât always have that line hahaha)Â
that being said, idk that heâs always that ~nice~ to him b/c I do feel like adam would get on his nerves a lot (but its in a good way and not a bad way??? idk owen is so weird about people hahah basically he is often like âgo awayâ and âshut upâ and âgo dieâ but he means those things but also âi love youâ at the same time smdh)Â

Maybe I Know | Rachel & Owen
âNo, no, no!â shouted Rachel, pounding on the steering wheel of her car. Â Rachel was someone who didnât like to admit to herself - or anyone else - that anything was ever wrong, but it seemed that lately even she couldnât pretend things were perfect and this was just the latest in a long list of things she couldnât control.
The sputtering sound coming from the engine was far from comforting and, having driven this far out, she despaired of being able to walk back home. Â So much for lifting her spirits with a little day trip. Â Rachel pulled off the side of the road, burying her head in her hands. Â She realized she didnât know who to call. Â Her sister was, naturally, her first instinct, but she wouldnât know what to do and, what was more, it would only worry her; Tony was probably high; she would probably do better getting out and pushing than calling Seth; Alan wasnât much more useful; there was no way in hell she was calling her boss. Â How had she, just like that, exhausted the list of people she could rely on?
Slamming her fist down on the console, Rachel unbuckled her seatbelt and threw open her car door. Â It felt good to stomp over to the front of the car, like she was accomplishing something, until she reached her destination. Â Doubt clouded Rachel as, considering she knew nothing about cars, she had no idea where to start. Â Reaching out, she touched the hood only to yelp and jump back in surprise. Â
âHot, hot!â she shouted, turning away from the car in despair. Â She felt like crying, she felt like screaming, she felt like punching someone in the face. Â Instead, she stared blankly at the car, suddenly remembering that her phone had died while playing Pokemon Go (while driving) a few minutes ago.
âShit.â
No one in this goddamn town would survive the zombie apocalypse.Â
This wasnât usually something that Owen worried (or even thought about), but heâd been stopped by Melissa Bentley earlier today when theyâd been in line at the store together. (The next time they ran out of milk, he wasnât going). Heâd only really listened to half of what sheâd been saying to him, but what had stood out the most was that he a) had a nice ass and b) that he would survive the apocalypse and would he care to read the âfriend fictionâ sheâd written about it?
He told her to get lost, but that didnât stop him thinking about how unprepared everyone he knew would be if that was to actually happen. How often was he there to (secretly) help the people he cared about? He sometimes doubted their ability to survive in this world, let alone a zombie infested one.Â
And thatâs when he saw her.Â
Rachel Lloyd was standing alone on the side of the road next to a smoking car. She looked lost and alone and unsure of what to do.Â
âFuck.âÂ
His first instinct had been to drive on by. It would serve her right for the way she treated Seth ... for the way she treated most people. But she was Cassieâs sister and, whatâs more, despite everything sheâd done to Seth, he realized that he still liked her and he did, in fact, care whether or not she made it home safely that evening.Â
He pulled up his old truck behind her car. He got out without a word and felt the hood of her car. âEngineâs overheated.â
ooc | Owen & Stu
OWEN BBY. I WANT TO GIVE HIM ALL THE HUGS. and you know, i think stu might honestly know some of that? i think heâs been around owen enough that he probably sees him as a brother and therefore knows that a lot of the reason owen gets into trouble is because of his childhood. and maybe thatâs actually why stu gives him so many free passes? because if he doesnât, who else will?
âŚ.. also have you seen just my luck? because my brain just went âhey remember that time when chris pine had rEALLY BAD LUCK and constantly got arrested and when he did, he asked for a certain precinct because they were nice to him there? DOESNâT THAT SOUND LIKE STU AND OWEN???â (yes i will bring chris pine into everything whether he belongs or not, haha). ANYWAY, i donât think owen would ~necessarily ask for stu but i do think they might be in a smaller precinct and maybe by now the officers know stu and when they see owen they have a âthis is stuâs caseâ kind of thing going?
oh and also. since chris and stu have been friends for a long, long time, i think owen might have known stu before he was a police officer?? so i donât know if that makes any difference whatsoever, but it might color the way owen sees stu? because he went from being not an authority figure to being one?
I LOVE THAT OWEN ACTS LIKE HE DOESNâT LIKE ANYONE. honestly, if i were friends with owen i would probably annoy him so much because i have leslie knope tendencies and we all know how that ends, ahahaha. (with hugs from leslie and anger from ron. BEAUTIFUL.) ⌠anyway, hmmm. i honestly feel like stu doesnât really ~let people know he likes them either?? i think most of the friends stu has heâs made through other people? like he met all the selznicks through chris and by extension the connors and then he met zach through work and he met karen through chris. so the only friend that he actually ~made was chris and i feel like chris literally chose him. like stu had absolutely no say in the matter. chris just went for the first person who actually laughed at his joke and that person was stu. so with that in mind, i think stu really loves all the people in his life, he just doesnât really tell them that? or know how to say that? so heâs probably never really given owen any indication that he actually likes him and sees him as a brother. even though he DEFINITELY feels that, itâs not really an opinion he voices.
and honestly i can see stu saying to chris âi donât think your brother likes meâ and chris being like âyou have arrested him. do you usually bring your criminals home for dinner?â which stu would laugh about but it also might not sit so well with him. and that honestly might be a conversation chris and owen have had?? maybe chris saying that stu values him as an individual and that heâs just doing his job (and this is probably where owen zones out because here comes another Chris Selznick Motivational Speech, ahaha). so even though stu and owen have known each other for most of their lives, stu is probably quieter around owen because he knows that heâs The Bad Guy here and doesnât really know how to deal with that??? but he does care. he really, really does.
UGH I KNOW <33333 i cry b/c owen is honestly such a sweetheart he just doesnât want anyone to know that hahah b/c honestly I think he def thinks that itâs a weakness (again #thanksdad) BUT ANYWAY yeah since stu has been friends with chris for a long time and the selznicks knew him before he was a cop would actually probably do a couple things a) stu would def know a lot about their childhood/would have been able to witness the dysfunction of their family first hand +++ see the way that their dad treated them. ALSO he would be able to see that owen is actually a good kid for himself (vs. taking chrisâs word for it). and actually I do think that owen knowing stu b/f he became a cop would make things a little different. idk if better is the right word, but def different??? like when stu first became a cop was probs when owen was in his height of being a ~bad boy~ and tbh he was probs like âokay just go and be the enemy why donât youâ about it b/c if heâs been chrisâs bff for that long, heâs probably basically been a second bro in the same vein as drew and it may have even weirdly felt like a betrayal to owen?????Â
honestly heâs def chilled out from that point tho (i s2g owen likes to think heâs super chill but heâs honestly sUCH a drama queen like heâs rivals kara sometimes smdh) and he realizes that it wasnât about him. but yeah. i do think he likes stu more than he would have if he was a newer friend of chrisâs but since heâs been around for so long, owen has secretly accepted/adopted him into the fold even if he does act like an ass still to him sometimesÂ
HAHAHAH omg tho Iâm crying b/c thatâs lITERALLY how owen got all of his friends, too???? b/c he doesnât want them haha. heâs like âmy bros are the only friends i need thanksâ but ofc THEY arenât satisfied and have to go make more friends and thatâs how the connors happened and stu and drew and ginny and honestly like 1/2 of va beach but shhhhh owen isnât gonna admit that. Like the only friend heâs made on his own was cassie hahaha (and look how that turned out ;DDD)Â
okay so I have seen just my luck but that was literally like ten years ago hahah so I donât remember much of it except wasnât there some scene where the washing machine breaks??? or something?????? BUT ANYWAY omg that sounds about right ahha. I love how everyone just sees that its owen and just ~transfers~ it over to stu hahahahah (honestly that would irritate owen too tho #facepalm)
Drinking Buddies | Owen & Elaine
Elaine observed Owen as he made his attempt at stringing together words to form a sentence. She had never seen him succeed in doing so often, though Cassie had told her that he could actually do so quite well. Elaine still didnât believe her.
âUhm⌠things are good,â Elaine said, swirling the ice around in her glass a bit. What she wanted to ask was why on earth James was looking at wedding rings when he was so concern with their relationship moving too fast. She wanted to ask why Natalie was so special and why she could charm everyone in the world while Elaine was sitting alone at a bar next to her best friendâs ex boyfriend.
âI was supposed to meet Cassie⌠But sheâs busy at work,â Elaine paused, taking a sip and glancing sideways to see his reaction. There wasnât one. He was sort of like talking to a statue that liked beer. âSheâs been rather busy lately⌠Always at the hotel, rarely outâŚâ she shrugged slightly.
Her answer to his âhow are thingsâ question wasnât especially reassuring. Not that Owen would ever call her out on it. He knew what it was like not to be believed when you said things were fine when they clearly werenât. To Owen, her answer was code for âthings suck, but I donât wanna talk about itâ. Even if it wasnât, he was more than happy to interpret it that way. Talking in general had never been Owenâs strong suit; talking about feelings was always even more of a disaster.Â
Owen remained stoic. He didnât say anything for a long time. Talking about Cassie wasnât easy, either, but part of him wanted to. But more than anything, he didnât want Elaine to know that. He didnât want Cassie to know how much sheâd hurt him; how much sheâd meant.Â
âIâm not surprised,â He mumbled. Sheâd always cared a lot about her job. Sheâd cited it as a reason why their relationship wasnât working out. Owen imagined that that was part of it, but he felt like there was more to it than just that. Heâd always managed to disappoint everyone in his life ... why would she have been an exception to that?Â
He took another gulp of his drink and then, suddenly he turned slowly towards Elaine, âIs she ... â the words stuck in his throat. He cleared it, âShe still planning on showing up later?âÂ
Language of the Bros || Owen & Seth
âThatâs what I said,â Seth quickly agreed, looking up from the instructions to watch Owen work. âReal men build things themselves. They donât buy them and put them together. But Natalie bought this anyway.â Actually Seth hadnât even been with Natalie when she bought this shelf. But if Owen said building it from scratch was easier than using a kit, Seth believed him. Maybe he couldnât read the directions either?
But then Owen asked him to look for the parts and Seth turned back to the directions⌠only to instantly wonder what on Earth a ratchet could be. Owen, it seemed, sensed that Seth didnât know and when he asked, Seth nodded instinctively. âOf course! I use them all the time.â He pulled the toolbox closer and began to rummage through it. Maybe it would say on the handle? Didnât hardware stores like to label their tools?
After poking through the box, Sethâs brow knit as he started going through it again. âI donât think you have any? Maybe you left them somewhere?â Or maybe Seth just didnât know what he was looking for.
There was a distinct possibility that Seth was way out of his league here. He briefly wondered if he could convince Chris to give him a crash course in identifying tools. He didnât know if he could afford another embarrassing bro-sesh.
Giving up on the ratchet for the moment, Seth turned back to the directions⌠only to discover he still didnât have a clue how to read them. Maybe just match everything to the pictures? The trouble was nothing really looked like the pictures? Who even drew these things? Were they looking at the same parts he was? Did they draw these from memory? If they did, they had a terrible memory.
Thankfully, Owen was on his wavelength and didnât like the directions either. It must be their bro-senses working. Smiling gratefully, Seth watched the directions sail to the ground. âYeah, I was thinking the same thing. Those things are for dummies. Real men work better without their directions. All they need is a hammer, a pile of wood and some nails. Weâll make a real bookshelf. A manâs bookshelf. The bro-shelf. Right, Owen?â
He grinned up at Owen as he stood and then hopped to his feet as well. They were going, like, off-road. How cool. âŚ.But then Owen handed him a hammer. And Seth remembered the last time heâd tried to hammer something. And the size his thumb had become after heâd spectacularly missed.
âRight. Hammer in the nail. That sounds easy enough. Noâ no problem.â
And with a deep breath, Seth closed his eyes and swung.
Owen grunted, pulling his toolbox closer to him so he could find the tool in question. It looked like chaos inside, but the truth was, Owen had an incredibly organized system. He always knew where each tool was, even if someone who looked inside wouldnât be able to tell that.Â
The ratchet was right where he thought it would be: on top. Owen pulled it out and held it up for Seth to see. He stared at him for a moment, eyebrows raised. âItâs right here.â He said. A moment later he dropped his gaze and thatâs when the tiniest hint of a smile tugged at his lips. Itâd been clear from the start that Seth had no idea what it looked like, despite his declaration that he used them âall the timeâ.Â
He looked back up at Seth again when Seth started going on about how this was going to be a âman-shelfâ and a âbro-shelfâ. What was this kid trying to say? But then, this was a frequent question Owen asked himself when he was around Seth. âI donât know what that means. Itâs just going to be a regular shelf.âÂ
âWhoa, no.â Owen said quickly, moving his hand with lightning speed to stop Seth from going any further, âNever shut your eyes,â He said, sternly. Jesus, how is this kid still alive?Â
The answer to that question, he realized, was most likely because someone was always watching out for him. But he knew that that wouldnât always be the case. âOkay, stop.â He said, removing the hammer from his hands. âWe gotta start smaller than this. Iâm gonna teach you how to use one of these things,â He said, âBut first you gotta make sure what you are doing before you start nailing your hand to the wood.â His voice was gruff, but passionate.Â
He exhaled and although he sounded frustrated, he wasnât really. He just didnât want to see too enthused, but the truth was, teaching Seth some basic carpentry skills was actually something he was looking forward to.Â
âOkay, come with me.â He said, motioning. âIâm gonna get you something to practice on.âÂ
OOC | Noah & Owen
THAT GIF I CHOKED
âNo?âŚOh wait I get it, man!  N-O like the first letter in each of our names!  Whoa thatâs tight.  Letâs go with that!â
JEAN RALPHIO this is honestly the most wildly on point thing IM YELLING also when Noah talks about âthe gangâ he means himself and Max and Owen and ~possibly~ Ginny and/or ~*~maybe~*~ anyone each member of the gang may be dating ~at the time~ but nOT Lex ;DDDD
Anyway, I feel like Noah has been a thorn in Owenâs side for years now and idk exactly how he first ~attached~ himself to Owen but heâs not letting go smdh
N-O LIKE THE FIRST LETTER IN EACH OF OUR NAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IâM LITERALLY DYING JUST IMAGINING OWENâS REACTION TO THAT. HIS FREAKING BITCH FACE OMG.Â
owen stares directly into the camera like heâs in the office: the next time that boy speaks, i will punch him in the face
HONESTLY this is literally the worst thing in the world to owen tho???? like someone wanting to be his friend under normal circumstances is NOT fun but in this one owen does NOT wanna be friends at all and he does not take a hint and owen is just like @god: why???Â
AHHHHHHHH omg owen being part of their ~gang~ hahah anything noah mentions that they are in a âgangâ together heâs just like ânoâ (and noah is just like âhe ships us!â ;DDD)Â

OOC | Pippa & Owen
OMMMMGGGGG talk about a culture clash bc Pippa has hella Chris Traeger vibes and then thereâs the resident Ron Swanson so I mean⌠;DDDDD  Honestly, I need them to be in a room together asp ;DD  But Iâm not really sure how theyâd know each other except that Pippa ~may be friends with Ginny (depending on what Lauren says), so she might pop by to visit her there etc?  Or thereâs the Chris/Stu/Ren bff-ery which might bring them together?????  Hahaha yeah idk but itâll be a disaster hahaha
IâM SCREAMING!!!!!!!! CHRIS X RON <333 ( actual video evidence of the two of them together )
okay yeah but Iâm unsure as to how theyâd know each other, too??? maybe pippa comes into selznick outdoors for like a new waterbottle or something idk??? oh or i can also see owen stopping in at the coffee shop for coffee pretty regularly???? I mean I do think that coffee is one thing that he can make himself (usually outside on the fire by his tent probs <333) but I still feel like he buys some now and again especially when heâs on break from work???? idk??? although if lauren agrees that pippa and ginny are friends taht would be the best place b/c sheâd invade his space and he wouldnât be able to escape hahaÂ
oh! or maybe they meet at nickâs fourth of july party??? or do you think pippa might score an invite to willâs bbq???Â
