Welcome to Occult Roommates everyone

On this blog you’ll find the story of a group of young adult, each a different type of occult (and some human guy) who through different circumstances, ended up having their dreams broken, causing them to all end up living together in San Myshuno. On top of the six roommates, we’ll have three other friends often showing up in their little adventure.

I have my own lore regarding occults, how they’re perceived in the world, their powers etc, which is not necessarily related to the game’s lore or the real world folkore around them. It will be revealed more and more as the story goes on.

This is a space for everyone, and no kind of asshole behavior will be tolerated. Open bigotry = instant block.

Take note that while I don’t really plan on having anything super explicit on here, I have Wicked Whims and I am not afraid to use it. Also expect some swearing and other curse words. Maybe some drugs mention and mild cartoon violence. Basically what I’m saying is this blog is pretty much 18+. I am serious.

English is not my first language. I’ve been bilingual since childhood and try to proofread everything, but if you ever notice a sentence that’s like...not super coherent, this is why.

I’m WCIF friendly.

Charlie is turning 41 today!

Or is she? Like she's a vampire, she doesn't really age. Technically she's like that one clothes store, forever 21.

Charlie is lowkey an astrology girly. Though it's like a very mild case so to speak lmao. By the way she is an Aquarius ascendant Sagittarius and her Chinese zodiac sign is the rat.

She actually has two nieces, but she never met them as they were born after she became a vampire and was rejected by her family.

She wears a lot of makeup cause it's like a vampire culture thing. A bit like how poisonous frogs are brightly colorful to show they're dangerous. They also tend to wear lots of blush to simulate the fact they still can do that, which helps make them feel more human and accepted in society.

And so it was the last birthday post. Please ignore the fact I said I was back like three weeks ago I was convinced it was less than two and I have never been more busy in my life so "sadly" the failed Tumblr Sims 4 blog has to take a back seat from my other real and more important actual responsabilities.

Rudi turns 27 today!

Another birthday post, and the penultimate one. This time it's the alt werewolf of San Mysh (nobody has ever called them like that), Rudi. Yippee. Fun fact times idk.

Their full legal name is Rudder Ezra Marron Lopez. The Lopez part is actually from their step-dad, rather than their biological father, and this is because they changed it for their step-dad's name in exchange for him paying the name change...Especially since it was their second name change after going as Luna for a while, but when they realized they're nonbinary instead of a trans woman, they didn't liked it. They got Rudder cause like it's a random word it's not used for men or women, but they liked that it was kinda provocative to go as Rudi in day to day life since it's a boy name, and Ezra is also a masculine name, but neither are like obviously super masc like I don't know...Michael. Rudi and Ezra are also four letters long like Luna and their deadname...which I'm not telling you what it was, it's none of your business.

Also, since they're a native speaker of German and Spanish, not English, they don't really use neutral pronouns in those languages. In German, they go exclusively with the feminine words and in Spanish, they alternate between masculine and feminine one. I know there's some attempt at making neutral pronouns for people in those languages (especially German since neuter form for objects already exist), but being consistent is for coward.

They have a very large wardrobe, unironically I don't know how it fits in the apartment with the clothes of all the other roommates, but they don't spent that much money on it. Like 80% of it is thrifted and the other 20% they do it themselves...by which I mean Daniele does most of the work because he knows how to sew, while Rudi tells him what to do. Also this aspect of their character is pretty much cause I enjoy using them like a little pixel fashion doll. A sort of 3.5 bonus facts, the other reason why I've switched up their outfits so much throughout the story is because since season 1, they have gained like a fuckton of weight and there is no way that realistically they could fit into their season 1 clothes. Yes it's a Sims it doesn't have to be realistic in that regard but I don't care. It's not like I put in any effort to keep them skinny or make them thin again and I'm not gonna manually change it back. If they're fat now well they're fat now (insert the shrugging emoji here). This is what happen when you move from Germany to the US I guess.

Well, these are super long and detailed compared to the others. That is a subtle reference to the fact since I'm working on this blog again and now feel motivated to write, I brainstormed the fun facts in advance instead of forcing myself to come up with them on the spot while making the post. Yes, there are actual posts in the queue scheduled for this week. What, it's only been since...November of 2023...Oof. Also Rudi might be my favorite roommates which is why I rambled to much.

Audrey turns 29 today!

For that very special occasion, Audrey made a huge effort and wore a dress that is only partially pink instead of fully pink! Big round of applause for her :D Fun facts round (I might be phoning it in at this point lmao)

Audrey used to have a crush on Dawud when she was younger, it obviously did not work out. She never had a proper partner really but trust me, she is far FAR from being a virgin.

She became the person that she is today at 4 years old, when she managed to snuck out of her bedroom past her bed time and saw her parents watched an X-Files episode. Instead of being terrified of the theme song like a normal child, she developed a deep fascination for aliens.

Her mother is half-fairy, and her entire maternal line was fairy up until grandma had a baby with a human (I mean, if Audrey's mom is only half-fairy, its fairly obvious her dad was...not one). However, while her mom still has fairy power, Audrey is the first one in the bloodline to have none...Or does she?

And so there is one. By the way, this blog is almost two years old, and has been kinda dead for like one, and I know I've always said I'm gonna come back and then...don't, but this time it's true I swear I am finally mentally stable enough to bother working on it more than like once every 6 weeks when it's someone's birthday. I can't garantee I'll be as active in the community as I once was, but I'm gonna try.

Kino turns 31 today!

Or they did...yesterday. But I am an idiot who put the post in the draft instead of the queue...Oh well. Anyway, it is now the alien birthday *insert the x-file theme here*

September 18th 1993 is technically not Kino's actual birthday, as they were not born on Earth. It is an approximation based on their home planet calender compared to the Earth's one. Their actual age is fairly certain however, since Sixamians age at pretty much the same rate as Earthlings and their years are 372 days.

Originally my idea for Kino was that they were on Earth to have as many alien hybrid babies as possible and so were banging their ways through Earth, but then I realized that sounds like the plot of a porno and I dropped it lmao. This is why though they have such commitment issues, since I've always intended for them to be a serial monogamist, it's just the reason as to why they're one changed with time.

Nobody has introduced them so far to the song Blue (dabadee) by Eiffel 65, for their own safety.

Yippee another one down, and next month we're going from an actual alien to the alien nerd herself Audrey.

Ralf turns 51 today!

51 years ago in another universe, my favorite dilf was spat into the Earth. Fun facts time idk how to smoothly transition nobody is reading these anyway.

His birth mother named him Rafayl, but when his parents adopted him they changed it to Raphael. He used to go as Raph cause he hated his original name but felt like it was unprofessional to just have a nickname and so he became Ralf.

He's fluent in German, English and Spanish, because that's his wife first language.

A bit of a meta fact but he's the only member of the main cast to be from a real city instead of being born in a Sims world one (in his case, being born in Lviv and grew up in Leipzig, but he currently resides in Windenburg).

And so another one down, see you in September for with Kino.

Daniele turns 26 today!

Well another birthday post, this time for my little spellcaster who couldn't. You know the drill here's the fun fact.

When he first moved to America and was sent to high school, he was deeply disappointe to see it's not like in the movie.

He has dyslexia, but he finds the ancient spellcaster script to be easier to read than the latin alphabet.

In spite of being covered in light purple, this man cannot stand the smell of lavender.

So that's it for now, and yes I did change his birthday cause like the idiot that I am I thought his birthday was on the 17th when it was actually on the 7th so I scheduled the post and the wrong day.

Akva turns 25 today!

Just like her creator, Akva was born in May of 1999. I don't have fun facts for me but I have some for her.

While she couldn't keep her baby due to life circumstances, she might be open to have another child later in life when she's more stable and mature especially now that she's back with Athena.

In spite of being a mermaid with the surname Singh, she cannot sing.

Out of all her siblings, she's actually the tallest, and that includes her brothers.

This is my DND character, his name is Karijon (pronounced like a carillon not like...dijon mustard). He's a slutty little bard who used to be in the army but got kicked out because he slept with his general's wife. He used to date a witch but he cheated on her and as a punishment, she cursed his lips to taste like black licorice, which is why he has, well, black lips. He once killed a man cause I wanted to push a drunk guy out of the way and ofc this is when I rolled a 20 you know not during an actual battle when I do need it.

Dawud turns 28 today!

To celebrate, here's three fun facts about our main guy. Who also happens to be the boring regular human of the occult roommates.

His favorite snacks are caramel popcorn and cheese puffs.

While his family is of Iraqi-Arab origin, he has some distant Turkish and Kurdish ancestry through his father's side, as expressed by his surname.

As a kid, he tried getting rid of his freckles by rubbing lemon juice all over his face, which is kinda sad but he failed miserably and just squirted the juice directly into his eyes so his hindsight it's pretty funny to remember.
