"My safety isn't important! You're what matters!" (occameraguyzac for Aaron)
Aaron did a one-eighty and stared harshly at Zac. âNo.â This was one thing, the one thing he wouldnât budge on. He couldnât.Â
You are much more important than you think, he thought bitterly. âI am doing this. For you.â
He smiled and kissed Aaron. It was a soft and short kiss, but hopefully Aaron knew that he could come back for more if he wanted it. Zac stroked Aaronâs cheek with the back of his hand. âYeah, one of us has to be somewhat responsible.â
Zac melted into Aaronâs hug. He breathed in his boyfriendâs scent and after a long moment finally pulled away a little. Not enough to break the hug fully but enough to let the other know he was ok with breaking the hug and getting food if thatâs what he wanted.
âAlthough you know, if you move into the kitchen the dogs are going to wake up.â He smirked. As much as they both loved their dogs, they did tend to get a bit underfoot when food was possibly involved.
Aaron sighed into the kiss, too damn close to sobbing. Zac turned him into such a mess. He was such a fucking mess. Reluctantly, he broke them apart, thinking of the food heâd make for Zac. âItâs okay, I think we can manage,â he replied with a smile, brittle as it was.
He lead them both into the kitchen. âDoââ His voice broke and he cleared his throat. Fuck, not now. âDo you want anything specific, l-love?â
Zac squeezed Aaronâs hand as his voice broke. âTake your time. Thereâs no rush.â He smiled at him. Their relationship wasnât an easy one but no matter how hurt and seemingly broken Aaron was, there was good in him. Zac had seen it. So heâd give his boyfriend all the time he needed.Â
âIâll take whatever you fix me. Your food is a gift from the gods.â He kissed Aaronâs cheek. âSurprise me.â
