Dear Catholic (and everyone in general):
You might have never heart of a country named Nicaragua in Central America that has been under a communist tyrany for decades. Since 2018, the people raised their voice against the tyrant and has been strongly oppresed and massacred making it impossible for them to defeat the the regime.
International help has been extremely slow and unfruitful especialy when democratic countries as Mexico changed their president for a leftist one that now is supporting the nicaraguan regime and with the upocming USA elections, the fear that Biden might win, all hope for that country might die.
In the middle of all that oppression the regime has been also attacking independent media, incarceratig and confiscating illegally press and tv buildings and their owners that has been jailed or exiliated.
The newest victim is a lay-catholic TV and radio media “Canal 12 de Nicaragua” that the regime is falsely argin they has a huge tax debt (wich is a made up thing) . The regime claims the TV station owner has avoided around $600,000.00 in takes and this week added more numbers elevating the dept to $800,000.00 to make it harder for him to pay a money he doesnt owes in first place. The regime objective is to silence independent media and steal all his properties that are 1 TV station recently renewed, 5 radio stations, his house and other personal properties.
Closing this media, will leave more than 50 people unnemployed in a country that is already in a huge economic and political crisis.
The owner, Mr. Mariano Valle, has presented irrefutable proofs that he always paid every cent on time yet the “judge” failed wrong against him last week. Mr. Valle is still appealing but he need all the help you can give in prayers and money. His family openend an up to $50,000 GoFund Me campaing to at least help them to pay to their workers but if you can give more to help them to save their properties, God bless you!
