I was sitting in my room on my phone. Gladly enjoying my day off, when my door was pushed open. "Jun?" I looked up and saw Hao standing in the doorway. "Hey Hao, what's up?" I spoke in Chinese. He avoided my eyes and shifted from one foot to the other awkwardly. "I don't feel good." He admitted softly. I immediately put down my phone in concern. "How do you feel? Is it bad?" I asked. He shook his head. "It isn't that bad, my head hurts and I feel congested, that's all." I mentally noted that Minghao downplayed his symptoms a lot so he must be feeling worse than he was saying. "You can come in if you want." I said and he nodded and sat down next to me. I put my arm around him. We sat in comfortable silence until I felt him turn away from me. "HhTkSchu!' HhTskChu!- Sorry." 

"Bless you. Don't apologize." I placed my hand on his forehead, "You feel a bit warm." 

"Oh." Was all he said, I had a feeling he was still trying to convince himself he wasn't sick and didn't like that he had a fever. "Can you just wait right here? I'm going to get you some medicine."

"No, I'm okay," he said softly. "I wasn't asking if you wanted medicine. I was asking if you'll be okay alone." He shrugged. "Do you want me to text one of-"

"HKTchshu!- eKtcHu!- HSkTchu!"

"Bless you. I can text one of the members and have them bring it up if you don't want to be alone." 

"No, it's okay." I shook my head. Minghao was always like this. He didn't take his feelings into account if he thought it would hurt others. This often led to him putting others before him. "I'll text one of the members to get medicine." He nodded. In a few minutes, Soonyoung came to our room. "You said you needed medicine. Who's sick?" He asked and I silently gestured towards Minghao. Soonyoung nodded knowingly. He left the room after that and I turned to Minghao. "Let's take your temperature first. And then I'll give you medicine." Minghao nodded tiredly. I put the thermometer to his forehead. "100°F. That's bad." I said. Minghao shook his head. "It's not that bad. I'll be fine with some medicine." I was about to reply but he turned away from me. "Hh…KTschShu!- HhTskChu!- HhTSchuu!-" 

"Bless you." I said softly. "Minghao. You have a fever and you're gonna rest whether you like it or not." I said. Minghao groaned but nodded. This was a clear cator indication that the fever was beginning to tire him out. I handed him his medicine. "Here, take these. And you're gonna rest after this okay." He nodded again. I smiled at him. "Tired, Haohao?" I asked sweetly and he looked at me with droopy eyes. "Yes. Very." He said and I chuckled. He snuggled close to my side, and as he fell asleep he looked up at me, "Don't tell the others I cuddled with you." I laughed, "I won't." I promised. 

While he slept, I played on my phone. Not wanting to move because I didn't want to wake him up.  

Sadly my plan didn't work long because his own body betrayed him. About 15 minutes after he fell asleep he was thrown into a rough and painful sounding coughing fit that made me cringe. I rubbed his back as he tried to recover from the fit. "You okay?" I asked tentatively after he stopped coughing. He swallowed harshly and sniffled, "Yeah… do you have any tissues?" I nodded and reached over to grab the box from.my bedside table. He thanked me before taking a handful and blowing his nose. He lowered the tissues from his face but quickly brought them back when his breath hitched. "Etchu!- hh- hetCHu!- hetcHhu!-"

"Bless you." I patted his shoulder. "Thanks." He coughed a bit after he blew his nose again. "Do you need to take something?" I asked him, trying to hide my concern. "I'm fine." He said as he coughed. "Uh, no. We're not doing this today." I said, rolling my eyes, I took my phone out and texted Jeonghan asking him to bring more medicine. The whole time Hao was protesting. "Junnie, I'm really f-hhkTchu- EhhTchu- snf- fine." 

"Bless you."-" I was cut off by another sneeze from Hao. "C'mon. You can't insist you're fine while you're sneezing like five times while you say that. Plus, Jeonghan hyung and his medicine could help you feel better." I said calmly. Hao glared at me but didn't say anything. Knowing I won, I just patiently waited for Jeonghan. After a while, I heard a knock on the door. "Junnie? Hao? I'm here now." Said Jeonghan's voice and I stood up to let him in. He was carrying about three different grocery bags filled with groceries. "What's all this Jeonghan hyung?" Hao asked. Jeonghan put down the stuff. "I was out grocery shopping but then I got Junnie's text so I just decided to directly drop by here. How're you feeling?"

"I'm fine! Jun just doesn't believe me" He said, sniffling after, "Don't you have a fever though? Soonyoung said so." 

"No." Hao said, Jeonghan looked at me, "He does." 

"Hao, I think that it's a good idea to rest, especially because you have a fever" Jeonghan reached into the bag and pulled the medicine out. Hao shook his head. "I don't have a fever, Jeonghan hyung." I rolled my eyes. "Let's just check your temperature again. That should settle if you have a temperature or not." Said Jeonghan. He checked Hao's temperature. "101°." "See! You still have a fever." Said Jun, exasperated. Hao looked defeated. "Fine. I do have a fever." Jeonghan nodded encouragingly. "Will you be willing to rest now?" He asked, sounding almost like a kindergarten teacher talking to a toddler. Hao nodded, though reluctantly. "Okay, good." I said. Hao pouted like a little kid, it was strangely adorable. He scrunched his nose up, "You alright Hao?" I asked, taking in his annoyed expression. "My nose is itchy!" He said with a whine. "I'm sorry, try blowing it. Maybe that could help." He nodded and took a tissue and blew his nose harshly. He groaned softly. "Itchy." Jeonghan looked at Jun and the latter nodded. Jun then pulled out a feather from Jeonghan's grocery bag. "I knew that this would happen so I asked Jeonghan hyung to pick up a feather on his way here. Let's get rid of your itchy nose, shall we? Said Jun and Hao nodded desperately. Jun brought the feather up to Hao's nose and gently started tickling it. Hao's breath hitched immediately and he turned away from Jun. "Hh..ItksSch!- HhkschShu!- HhktChHuh!- HhktChHuh!-" "Bless-"

"Hh..HktSchuH!- HhttTchuH!- HktSchuH!-" "Bless you! Feel better now?" Jun asked, and Hao nodded. "Let's get you to bed now." Said Jeonghan and both Jun and Hao nodded. Once Hao was cuddled in bed with Jun, he turned to the older. "Thank you. For everything." Jun smiled. "Anything for you, HaoHao."

Daeyang 👾:

Daeyang is allergic to so much: dust, ragweed, cats, rabbits, hay, grass, flowers, artificial scents and perfumes. But he is also prone to illness. This usually means he sneezes almost on a daily basis. But unfortunately, he really hates sneezing in front of people. He's also super difficult when sick and adamantly REFUSES to rest. But if someone needs to be taken care of, Daeyang is 110% on it.

Youngho 👾:

Youngho is allergic to everything, at least it often seems like it. But he also has the best immune system. (At least he claims to) and he's often very willing to take care of his members. Especially as the leader. But unfortunately he also is quite stubborn because he feels as the leader he shouldn't show weakness and therefore doesn't have any reason to rest when his allergies are bad, or on the rare occasion he gets sick. But usually a stern glare from Daeyang puts him in his place.

Seojun 💖:

Seojun is naturally really photic which causes him a lot of trouble during photoshoots as he can have full on sneezing fits from the bright lights of the cameras. He gets colds during autumn mainly because he refuses to admit he's cold and would walk around without a jacket during autumn and early winter. He also likes to sleep with his windows open during winter which almost always guarantees he'll fall sick. He gets emotional when he's sick and his members find out a lot about him when he has a fever and/or is delusional. Seojun is a pretty good caretaker. He won't coddle the members to death but he'll still take care of them in a quieter way. He's SUPER protective over Jichan and hyper-aware of how he's feeling which usually means that Seojun would be the first to figure out Jichan's sickness.

Leo 💖:

Leo isn't really allergic to anything. He also doesn't get sick a lot, but when he does it’s like 100% of the time a red flag. He doesn't like showing weakness for fear of judgment which stems back to him being bullied. The older members, especially Daeyang and Youngho, take care of him when he's sick. He is a pretty good caretaker but it'll be from afar.

Moon 👾:

Moon tends to want to be left alone when he's sick. This comes a lot from his germaphobia and he always is concerned about infecting people so therefore wants to be alone. The opposite with his allergies though. Typically when his allergies are acting up he wants to be coddled. He's the "worst" caretaker, not because he doesn't want to take care of his bandmates but because he always panics when they cough, sneeze or anything too close to him.

Gabriel 👾:

Gabriel isn't really allergic to anything, so to say, but he does get SUPER sneezy when exposed to hair spray. So when he's getting his hair done Jichan is always nearby with a box of tissues. He also is super sensitive to the cold, to the point where if the group walks outside in winter or inside to air conditioning in summer the members say bless you, even when he hasn't sneezed yet. He also, because of his sensitivity to cold, gets sick pretty often. He doesn't like being cared for when sick, but he (for… some reason) doesn't mind it when Jichan wants to take care of him.

Haneul 💖:

Haneul has TERRIBLE hay fever. Which makes him sneeze at least 8 out of 12 months. He likes cuddles when he's allergic but when he's sick, he likes to be left alone because he's embarrassed of his sneezes. The members can usually crack this layer of him but it takes some time. Haneul isn't used to taking care of his members but he always tries his best.

Jichan 💖:

Jichan was never an open person so it took a lot of time to get him out of his shell and even now, a lot of members can't get him to show weakness like when he's sick. Jichan is allergic to most animals but he loves animals so this usually doesn't bother him. Even if he's super sneezy afterwards. His sneezes are forceful and wet and it zaps a lot of his energy when he's having a fit so he likes to stifle. Pollen also sets his allergies off pretty badly. He isn't going to easily rest. He can be dragged back home, yes, but he wouldn't rest even then. Gabriel is the only one in the group who can get him to rest and take care of him. Jichan gets very cuddly when he's sick and Gabriel (coincidence or is it?) is the only one who's ever witnessed this. There's something only Gabriel knows about Jichan which is that when he's sick, he stifles a lot even when he isn't sneezing much and his sneezes are wetter. But when he has allergies, he won't stifle until it's a huge fit and his sneezes get more forceful. This is how Gabriel determines if Jichan is sick or having allergies. Jichan finds this adorable.

Caretaker: Hwaiting Season 2 cast

I got to the studio to film this week's episode of Hwaiting. I was the second to last person there. The only one that wasn't there yet was Ashley. Apparently she had to pick up something for this week's episode. Unfortunately Kevin wasn't able to join us this week so there was definitely something missing from the chaos.

Ashely finally arrived and we started filming. The two hosts started explaining the game, and I noticed something strange, there was a smell. Not a bad smell but definitely a strong smell. And it was starting to cause my nose to get itchy. Which very rarely happened. I chose to ignore it of course, and filming progressed. It was going pretty well, we got some great cuts and I felt pretty good. That was until I felt my nose start tickling like crazy. I started sniffling trying to hold back the tickle. But unfortunately, the tickle didn't go away. I felt my breath hitch and immediately turned away from the camera. "HhTkSchu!-" I rubbed my nose and shook my head. "Bless you" the others said, "thanks" I sniffled a bit. "You good?" Junny asked. Ashley looked concerned. "Yep, sorry" I apologized quickly for interrupting filming. The others brushed it off and went back to filming. We were barely started on the actual game when I felt the sensation get overwhelming once again. "Guys, can we stop for a second"

"Yeah, you okay?" Ashley asked, quickly going into mom mode. "Yeah" my breath hitched slightly. I moved away from the others, "ehKTchu! hh-ktchUH!"

"Bless you."

"Thanks. We can continue now." I said. "Are you okay?" Ashley asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." She looked like she didn't believe me but didn't say anything to which I was grateful. Filming went on for a few more minutes before I felt like sneezing again. I turned away again. "HhkCHu!- HkTSchUh!-" "Bless you and are you sure you're okay?" I nodded, "yo hyung, your eyes are super red" Eric pointed out, makes sense, they're super itchy I thought to myself. "Actually yeah" Jacob agreed, "Hyung are you allergic to anything?" Ten asked over the others who were all making comments about my eyes. "Not that I know of. At least I never really have been" I barely got the words out before my breath hitched again, "hh-ktchUH! ehh- HhKtchu- EhTchHu!"

"Bless you"

"How high is the pollen count? Because it could be that?" Junny suggested, but Eric shook his head, "it is was pollen Jacob would be reacting too."

"That's true" Jacob agreed, he sounded a bit shy about it. "Then I don't know what's wrong. I don't usually just sneeze randomly. Especially not this much"

"Is it something in here? Like a candle or something?" I shrugged. "I don't know." We were about to keep discussing before Ashley asked me, "Is it my perfume? It's a new one and you started sneezing precisely after I came into the room." I shrugged again. "Maybe."

"Try sniffing it." Said Ashley and I nodded and she handed me her perfume bottle. I smelled it and immediately turned away from them. "HhtKScHu! HhtKschu! HhtKScHu! Ugh."

"Bless you. I think we figured out the problem now." Jacob said, he looked a bit concerned. "Maybe I should change quickly. I'll be right back guys" Ashley said, she left the room. "You okay hyung?" YangYang asked, "yeah, my nose is itchy though"

"Hopefully it will get better now that Ashley is changing," Junny said. I noticed how concerned they all looked.

Ashley came back and already I noticed that the smell was almost gone, "sorry Mathew. You okay?"

"Yeah, I mean I am now. We should get to filming"

Thankfully filming went pretty smoothly, I only sneezed once, but near the end after being so close to Ashley I started to get an itchy nose again and kept sniffling to keep myself from sneezing any more. After doing this for more than 10 minutes, I felt the need to sneeze finally overpower me as I turned away. "HtskSCHu!- HkstSchu!- HktSchuH!-"

"Bless you. Okay that's it for filming today, let's get you home." Said Ashley and I nodded, too tired to deny it. We packed our stuff and Junny drove me to my dorm. As I was getting out, he asked "Do you want us to come with you?" And I nodded gratefully. The cast of Hwaiting made it into my empty dorm and Ashley immediately pointed towards the shower and gave me an authoritative look to which I nodded. After taking a shower, I took my meds before I made my way to the couch. "Wanna watch the new episode of Hwaiting?" I asked and they all agreed somewhat reluctantly. I smiled. Ashley had the most disgusted look on her face, "I hate watching myself" I laughed, "well I like bullying you, so perfect" she rolled her eyes, the others laughed, "you guys are such siblings" Jacob commented, "they really are" YangYang agreed. I flicked on the TV, finding the episode, and we started watching it. We were partway through the episode when I heard my own sneeze. I looked up from my phone, "why did they keep that in!!?" The others laughed, "giving the people what they want!"

"NO!!" I covered my face with my hands, "that's embarrassing" the others started laughing. "Hey, we want it to be genuine." Junny said while laughing. "You're all mean. "You're all banned from my dorm from now on. This is bullying." Ashley literally fell off the couch because she was laughing so hard. I rolled my eyes, "this is your fault" I said, gently kicking her. This just made her laugh harder. I sighed when they all finally stopped laughing. I felt exhausted. I guess it showed on my face as Ashley said "Okay time to sleep now. We'll leave you then." I smiled at them. " Thanks for today guys." Junny lifted an eyebrow at me. "For what?" I rolled my eyes. "For taking care of me. Thanks guys."

In hindsight, kissing Rain when he was sick was definitely not my best idea. But in my defense he looked so cute with his fluffy hair and his innocent face and cute shyness. And when he confessed…. Well, it's not like I wasn't going to kiss him. But of course, bad decisions come back to you. I had woken up with a pretty awful headache. It was so bad that I didn't even want to put my hair up, and the last time I wore my hair down to work was over three years ago. I went downstairs and began cooking breakfast for Rain so he could eat before class.

Cooking was proving to be difficult. As the oldest in the family. I had learned to cook pretty early in high school. But cooking while having a terrible headache was another thing. I could barely keep my eyes open as the sunlight from the open windows hit me straight in the face. I felt a slight tickle in the back of my sinuses which I pushed to the back of my head. I couldn't let Rain find out I was sick. I was supposed to be the strong one in the relationship and I didn't want him to worry. But with the sunlight constantly hitting my face, there was only so long I could go without ultimately sneezing. I heard Rain climbing down the stairs and immediately put on my most neutral face. I couldn't let Rain find out. I thought. Seems easy. It really wasn't.

Rain walked around the counter and snuggled up against my back, his arms wrapped around my waist. "Good morning," He said softly, "Did you sleep well?" He asked, nuzzling his face against my back. "Good." I lied. He unwrapped himself from the embrace and went around to the front of the counter and sat down. "Your hair is down," He commented. I ran a hand through it. "Yeah."

"It looks good," He said softly. I smiled, "Thank you." I was glad he liked it enough that he didn't question it. Unfortunately when I smiled at him the sunlight outside hit my eyes just right and brought the annoying tickle out, "ngtch!- hnktch!- kktchh!-" I pinched my nose and stifled the sneezes forcefully. "Ouch, that sounded painful," Rain said, looking concerned. I shrugged. "It's fine. You should eat though. You have class." I reminded him and he pouted at me. I laughed lightly as I handed him his breakfast before going back to my room to get dressed for work. I didn't know how I was going to survive work today but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

As I was driving to my office, I felt another sneeze build in the back of my sinuses and I instinctively brought my hand up to cover my face. "HhtKScHu!- Hh…HksChu!- HksSchu!-" I sighed softly. Today was gonna be difficult. I got to the office and was met by Prapai. "Holy shit dude. You look-"

"Yeah I know. Rain got me sick." I said with a noncommittal shrug. My breath caught on an inhale and I coughed a few times. "How?"

"I kissed him," I admitted, Prapai laughed, "Maybe you deserve it." He gently punched my arm. I rolled my eyes. "Your hair is down," He commented. I brought my hand up and ruffled it. "Yeah, my head hurts."

"Do you need some painkillers or something?"

"I'll be okay," I said confidently. "I've got to get some work done though. I'll see you- hh-ktchUH! hKtchu!- hhh- HKtchhu!-KTcShhu!- snf later." "Are you sure you don't need anything?" Prapai asked, his voice becoming softer, concerned. I smiled at his sweetness. "Yeah. I'll call you if I need anything. Thanks, Pai." He nodded. "I'll get going then. Don't overexert yourself." He said teasingly and I hit his arm lightly, to which he laughed and walked away. As I started working, I quickly realized I won't be able to get anything done today. The ever-present headache and tickle in my sinuses was making it impossible to work. Not being able to hold it back anymore, I cupped my nose with my hand as the tickle finally overpowered me. "HhKcHu!- Ugh, HtkscHu!- Hhh…HkttChu!-" I sighed softly. "That definitely does not sound good, Payu." I flinched at the voice but it turned out to be my boss, coming in and sitting next to me. "I'm fine, Sir." "Are you sure? I can give you an off day if you're sick." He said and I just nodded. I'll see if I really need to go home or not. "Thank you, Sir." He smiled and left. I rested my head in my arms, my hair falling over my face. I felt straight up awful. My head was pounding, I felt like sneezing every 2 seconds and my nose wouldn't stop running. I sat up straighter and my hair, now over my eyes, tickled my nose slightly, making my breath hitch again. "HhkCHu!- HkTSchUh!- Htkttchh!-" I took a tissue from my desk and blew my nose, which triggered yet another sneeze. "HktSchuH!- HtKsChu!- HtkSchuH!- Ugh." After I was finally done sneezing, I decided I needed to go home. Knowing I definitely shouldn't drive in a state like this, I pulled out my phone to call Prapai.

"Hello?" He answered. "Hey, can you, maybe, drive me home?"

"Sure, is something wrong with your car?"

"First of all, if something was wrong with my car, why would I call you. Second of all, I don't feel good. And I'm trying to be responsible and not drive."

"Probably a good idea. Also, you're mean."

"I know." I smiled to myself and hung up. I started packing my stuff, pausing a few times to cough or sneeze. When I finished I went to find Pai. When I saw him, the two of us walked to his car. "I'm surprised you're actually going home. Usually you just keep working." He said, giving me a side-eyed look. "To be honest. I'm really not feeling good. My head is killing me and I- hh- ktSHu! EhKtshu!- ktsChu! Ugh, sorry- keep sneezing."

"Yeah, I've noticed. Sounds painful."

"Honestly, it is. My throat and head hurt. But it's nothing compared to how much it hurt earlier when I stifled them around Rain." I coughed then cleared my throat. "It felt like my head was gonna explode."

"You should probably-"

"KTshHu!- heKTChu! Sorry."

"It's fine. But you definitely should tell Rain that you're sick."

"I don't think I can avoid it. Even if I wanted to." I coughed a few times, "He's already suspicious just from this morning."

"What happened this morning?"

"I sneezed. I've literally never sneezed in front of him before. So it makes sense he'd be surprised or suspicious."

"Honestly I don't think I've ever heard you sneeze either… actually I take that back." He laughed, "Remember when that kitten came to the race track?" He laughed. I shuddered slightly. "Yeah, I remember. That was so embarrassing. I don't think I had ever sneezed that much in my entire life. But I guess today's a strong competitor." Prapai laughed loudly again before placing his hand on my shoulder and rubbing it comfortingly. "I'm glad you actually did call me. It wouldn't be the first time you had almost passed out in the office because you refused to rest when you're sick." I nodded, "Yeah, I know. I'm glad I called you too." He smiled at me, his eyes soft. Prapai really was sweeter than he looked. We drove in silence, before I felt like sneezing again. I pinched my nose shut, trying to make the sneeze go away. "Don't do that. You can sneeze if you need to. And don’t you dare stifle it." Prapai said warningly and I nodded before pitching forward. "HhKSccHu!- HKscChu!- HtskSCHu!- Ugh, HhktsChu!-"

"See now your head won't explode." I rolled my eyes. The rest of the way we rode in silence. My throat hurt too much to talk and it seemed like Pai was being mindful of my headache. I got back to my house and grabbed my stuff. "Is Rain home?"

"Not yet, he's not going to be done with classes for probably 2 more hours or so." I explained. "Would you like me to stay with you around until he gets home?"

"I'll be okay but thanks for the offer. I'll probably take a short nap." I explained. Even though I knew full well I'd never sleep with how much my head was hurting and how often I needed to sneeze. "Okay, but call me if you need anything."

"Alright. Thanks Pai."

"Yep, no problem." I smiled at him. He waved and drove away. I walked inside and threw my bag down on the couch. I went into the kitchen and got a cup of water and began searching for painkillers to help with my head. But I didn't get much of a chance before I was forced to change my search to tissues. "HEtKChu! EhKtshu- ktsChu! EhTTchu! heKTChu!" I groaned softly and blew my nose into the tissues. I took the painkillers, hoping they'll help before walking to the couch. I fell asleep almost immediately too. After what felt like a short time, I was woken up by someone sitting down next to me. I opened my eyes and saw Rain, his arm resting on my shoulder. He looked adorable. I sat up straight before asking him, "How was your day?" "It was pretty good. I have so much homework though." Rain replied. He looked at me curiously. "Why are you back early from the office? You hardly ever take days off." I mentally decided to shrug off my symptoms so that Rain won't be worried. "I had a headache and my boss decided to send me back home." I replied shortly. Rain looked at me, suspicious. "Are you coming down with something? Was that why you sneezed this morning?" I groaned at how on the mark Rain's assumption was. "Rain, I'm fine. You don't need- hh- HktKsch!- Httnchh!- HktChuH!- HktKsChuH!- Ugh, sorry. You don't need to worry." As soon as I said it, I knew it wouldn't be effective but atleast I tried. "Seriously? Payu, you're my boyfriend it's my job to take care of-"

"S-hh-sorry-hh- NgChh! ktchH!- ngtch!- hnktch!-" I tried not to cringe, but I did cough from the way the sneezes shredded my throat. "Payu, don't do that. You'll hurt yourself." He reached over and pressed his hand to my forehead. "You've got a bit of a fever. Have you taken anything yet?" I nodded. "When I got home."

"When was that?"

"About two hours ago." I said, he nodded, "Have you eaten anything?"

"Not hungry." I said sniffling. "Payu, you need to eat something. Especially because you took medicine. I don't want you to get a stomach ache." I nodded again. "I'll order food, okay? And you're gonna rest. Got that?" I nodded, slightly amused at how authoritative Rain could be when he wanted to be. Rain scanned my face. "What're you thinking?" He asked. I kissed his cheek, "Thinking about how cool my boyfriend actually is." I said and Rain blushed. "Okay, I'm done with you. The fever's getting to your head. You should rest now." Said Rain but I didn't miss the little smile he gave while he said that. The doorbell rang and Rain went down to collect our food. He had ordered some soup, probably to soothe my throat for which I was immensely grateful. As we sat in silence, eating our food, I felt the intense tickle return to my sinuses again. Rain seemed to have noticed that I was gonna sneeze because he took my dominant hand before saying, "Don't stifle. You're allowed to sneeze. And it's definitely not embarrassing." I nodded, my eyes glossing over before I turned to the side. "HktSchuH!- HhtKScHu!- HkScHu!- HhkTscChu!- HhTksChu!-" My hair flew over my face while I sneezed and Rain gently reached over and ran his hand through my hair. "Should we put your hair up? Might keep it out of your face. Especially if you keep sneezing like this." He said as he handed me a tissue. "It gives me a headache."

"What if I put it in loose braids? That way it will still be out of your face but not hurting your head."

"Do you know how to braid?"

"I actually do. One of my friends taught me back in primary school."

"If you want it. Go for it." He smiled and moved so he was sitting on the couch behind me. And I sat between his legs. "Let me know if it hurts okay?"

"Okay." His hands were gentle, his fingers soft, I shivered when they brushed the back of my neck. "Does it hurt?" He asked softly. "No, it feels nice. You're so gentle." He kissed the top of my head. As he braided I felt a prickling sensation in my nose. "Rain?"

"Hmm?"

"I-hh- I need to sneeze." I felt him drop my hair, "Go ahead."

"HKtchShu! HeTCHshu- HH- ktChShu!"

You good now?" I gave a tentative sniff. "Think so."

He went back to braiding my hair. Instead of just one braid, he made multiple ones all over my head. "Are you okay if I rubber band them? I just don't want them to come out when you sneeze."

For angst kinda thing it would have to be only hurt/comfort. And nothing that really is detailed with the abuse.
