having strong emotions towards inanimate things is normal, when something means a lot to you or you put a lot of emotional energy into it you grow to love it and that’s absolutely normal. however romantic relationships with inanimate objects is completely different. that just... it doesn’t work like that. objects can’t love you and you can’t love them like you could a person and to pretend you can is holding you back i just know it.
