I've finally came up with my own design for my Object head cosplay, I have the old computer. The only thing I'm not really sure about is spraying my computer red, instead of just leaving it black. Does anyone have an opinion on what I should do?
Hey, so I've seen a lot of people with characters with TVs/Computer Moniters on their heads, is there an explanation for it? It looks really cool but where did this come from? Is there a specific anime to watch to understand or something? 😅
(insert shrugman emoji)
Is hollowing them out dangerous? Also is it easy to Do?
So, technically yeah, it can be dangerous. It depends on what you’re hollowing out. The first TV I hollowed out, my dad literally opened it up and tossed a wrench at it to break everything, and slid it out. That’s not a good idea, or recommended. If you’re worried about possible danger, please ask someone electronically inclined to help! Usually it’s as simple as cutting a few wires and slipping the innards out.

Are object head cosplays heavy??? I cant imagine lugging a tv on my head all day. They must be hot too right?
A lot of people mount little fans in theirs, and if you balance your mounting right, they’re really light. I think the heaviest I’d ever worn, personally, was only like 10lbs? And that was a Really Heavy one!
Ive seen the TV heads at the last two cons I went to, and l really want to know like where did they come from? Is it from an anime, is it a low key pop culture trend? What do they mean!? I think they're kinda cute lol
Honestly? I have no idea! I love them, though.
I'm wondering if you could have pictures inside the screen of a monitor, while being able to see. I want to be able to switch out and put different images. Is this possible?
Some people get programmable LED boards for the insides of their monitors, but those are expensive. As long as your line of sight is clear and your tint isn’t too dark, you should be good!
Do you know where I can find hollow plastic shells of computer monitors?
You’ll most likely have to hollow them out yourself. People tend to throw old monitors away pretty often, or you can make nice with your local electronics recycling places.
I know tv / monitor heads are the most common ones but im wondering if theres any other things ppl do? Saw a camera head when im at ComiketJpn, is it considered as object heads?
Yes! I've seen some really interesting takes on seemingly random objects, mostly in art, but sometimes you can find really cool cosplays. I think I saw a toasterhead once.

Tiny Dangerous's Object Head Tutorial (With pictures!)
Hello all! I’ve gotten quite a few people askin how I went about putting together my head for a recent costume I did at Anime Iowa 2014, so I figured I’d make a tutorial for it! More under the cut!

Hiya! Can we submit links to posts or just submit cosplays? And do they need to be strictly tvs?
Both is fine! And no, they don't, but TVs seem to be the most common.
TV Head Friends?
TV Head Friends!
Where does all these tv-head cosplay's originally come from? (0v0) <3
All of them are reblogged from their respective blogs! (Which is amazing, seeing as I don't have to go hunt around for sources.) Feel free to drop by their blogs and say hi to them as well!
