[DARLING. I haven't spoken to you in so long, my god. <3 HOW ARE YOU DOING?! <333]
If your part of cdrp, why does your bio say an indie rp blog?
[CDRP is not a closed roleplay group, but a 'group' that archives the Disney roleplay blogs and gives them opportunities to roleplay with one another. You can still roleplay with the blogs you wish to roleplay with, in opposition to closed roleplay groups where you only RP with the people in your group, therefore I consider my blog to be independent.]
She nearly scowled at his obvious skipping over of her teasing, of his disregard of her words of a more intimate nature. Her lips turned down against his chest, eyes narrowing in displeasure. But the annoyance lasted but a few moments as the reality of his arms around her soothed her frayed nerves and drew her good humors forth again. She traced her fingers idly over his chest as her features settled into its calmer mask. Her face and body, touching his, absorbed his warmth, cataloging it for when his departure left her on her one once again; cold once more without his warmth.
The logic of his silence made all the sense to her. Obi-Wan never did something that he didn't consider, that he didn't way the posibilities of. Each possible outcome must be weighed or else he would not act; he would not falter in his holding back until he was certain. And with over ten years to consider possibilities, Satine was sure that Obi-Wan had already made and verified his decision more than once.
There would be nothing more, even if she were to fall upon her knees and beg him with her tears flowing or to wind her arms around his neck and whisper in his ear of her carnal wants, her body pressed tightly against his. Neither, nor any other attempt on her part would sway him. Not once his decision was made. And he had made that decision ages before.
Satine respected the dedication to it, and found displeasure in it in equal measures. The conviction of such a stance was honorable of him; she knew any afternoon spent with him would be forever ingrained within her, so it made all the sense that a night with him would be written in both her bones and her soul for days endless past her own death. It would be unfair of him to push such a burden on her. And the whispers of her sister as she left her young infant son in Satine's arms echoed in her heart as well. She was not a warm person by nature, having been cut down so many times in her youth, but the death of her sister has carved her deeper than almost anything else had. And to have that infant boy in her arms had melded her in an unexpected way; she now bore a new title to her list of attributed and positions - she was now and forever more, a mother. Her blood ran though Korkie's veins though her connection to his birth mother but her soul had bonded with him as deeply as if she had born the child from her own womb. And Satine could only imagine the change in her if she was to bear a child from such a union as the one she imagined herself having with Obi-Wan Kenobi. The risk was too much, even for them, perpetual risk takers, as they were. The risk of heartbreak and of children living in shadows was too much a burden to bear for either of them. And so this separation of flesh must continue, thought-out their days, however long it may be.
That didn't mean that she had to enjoy this separation though. Her mind knew of the logistics and reason made her keep her desires to be let out only in jest, but her heart ached at the unfairness of duty and it's chains upon them.
"I understand, my Obi," she murmured into his chest, her head having turned into him and lips brushing against his body as the words departed her. She knew that he'd be able to sense her thoughts, to feel her mood shift so. It was hard to hide from him from across the room, and so, in his arms, deception was an absurd option. "I understand all. You above all else." However much you may want to deny it.
"Forgive my words. I was overwhelmed." She smiled into his chest and then turned to lay her head against him again, her hand returning to its rightful path over his heart. "I do not always have the strength to stick to my convictions as you do, Jedi." For once, the title left her mouth happily, teasingly. "I am distracted by the flesh more than I should be and for that I hope you forgive me. Not all minds are as attuned as yours is."
Not all hearts can bear pain as yours can, my dear one.
He cradled her like any man would cradle his lover and he hoped she felt it, felt the weight of his heart in his chest as his hands pressed to the small of her back, holding her against him for her to seek comfort in him, the beating of his heart, his scent and the feeling of his clothing. He would not speak of it, but too did the Jedi seek comfort in holding the woman he loved close, holding her body firmly against his, while he wanted to crush her against him and laugh with her like they had done when he was still so incredibly naive and young. Naivete was something he would miss if the Jedi would be allowed such an emotion. He would miss acting upon things just because he wanted to or doing something silly because he knew it would be fun. He had felt that just faintly when he had been with Satine on that year here on Mandalore and he wished, a little, to feel it now.
Cradling her like this already felt like he was rebelling against the word of the Jedi, because he knew her scent and the feeling of her clothing and her skin beneath would remain in his mind for a while and despite the fact that he could easily hide it away when needed, the thoughts could creep into his mind as he set to getting to sleep and corrupt his thinking. It would affect him little, as the Jedi had taught him mostly to be boss over his thoughts, but the idea of knowing that he missed something, someone, was already a painful thought.
"You don't have to apologise," Obi-Wan spoke, moving one hand to the back of her head and carefully feeling her hair between his calloused fingers. He gently stroked the blonde strands before moving his hand to her shoulder, prying her back from him a little, though in the gentlest of manners, to look at her. One finger gently reached out to touch the soft skin of her neck, where he caressed her softly.
His hand slowly moved to the back of her neck, his battle-scarred skin feeling rough against her precious flesh. Her hair weighed on his hand and it made him think of when he was a young padawan with a lot less self control than he had now. It made him think of grabbing her like this back then and barely thinking twice before kissing her. Despite the fact that it may be something he would want, he knew that there was no room for such acts in the life of being a Jedi and therefore he tilted her head up only slightly and pressed his lips carefully to her forehead, the prickle of his beard perhaps scratching her skin.
After a moment, he moved back and looked into her eyes. "I will see you tonight?" he asked, a smile moving onto his face, forming little lines beside and under his eyes.

Everyone who walked past the female had to double take to ensure they were seeing things correctly. It was indeed Siri Tachi, the Jedi Master, but she didn't look like herself. Her long blonde hair was now a deep shade of red and in loose curls, her jedi robes were replaced with a tight-fitting leather outfit. Her eyes scanned the people until she found the one she was looking for. Walking up behind him, her lips curled into a dangerous smile. "Hello, Obi."
Obi-Wan had sensed her just a few seconds before her voice sounded behind him, changed and unchanged simultaneously and he turned around, a version of Siri Tachi meeting him that he had never seen before. “Siri,” Obi-Wan started, both wanting to embrace her and question her at the same time. “I don’t understand,” he spoke, frowning slightly as the last thing he expected was to see her.
"What are you doing here?"
She watched him carefully before she spoke, the confusion in his eyes almost made her giggle. She folded her arms over her chest and her smile grew. “What do you think I’m doing here? Having a tea party?” The sarcasm was thick in her response but she did’t mean it - not really. She’d seen and done things in the last few months as Zora that she wasn’t proud of. She nibbled on her lower lip before looking at him once more. “Can we go somewhere to talk?” She was feeling nervous and edgy now, people kept staring and pointing at her. She kept playing with the holster on her thigh, not that she would use it but it almost calmed her. “Please?”
Obi-Wan gave her a nod in response to her question. If there was anything that was going to resolve his utter confusion, it was a conversation, a private one.
He led her to his apartment in the Temple, the doors shutting automatically behind them and as he turned to look at her now, the true concern hit him at the realisation of how much she had changed, how different she looked, spoke, behaved. "Tell me what has occurred, Siri," he spoke as he lead her to the small settee in the apartment, where he sat down beside her. "Are you safe?" he asked, wanting to know that first.

[So! After today, in which I may or may not squeeze out some mainverse replies, everything will be on hold for the CDRP high school AU. (Yaaay~) That means that asks and such will be answered in the context of the AU, if at all possible; if not, I’ll save them and answer them next week. I still have a few memes to do so I guess I’ll publish those next week, too.
I’m going to be trying my bestest to interact with group members, but if anyone else would like to have a thread with high schooler Ani/Vader, shoot me a message and I’ll be happy to oblige. c:
AU mode will last from Monday, 9th September to Monday, 16th September.
Squee! ♥ ]
[To completely second this, I'm reblogging it. I hope hope hope I'm going to have enough time on my hands to roleplay this AU, but I realllllyyy want to, so everyone that wants teen!obi, or perhaps even teacher!obi(?), comeeee attt meeee!]
"No pun intended, I presume." Chrestomanci took the invitation and stepped outside, blinking around at the exotic alien foliage. He could think of at least half a dozen herbalists who would give their right arms for cuttings of these.
"Ah, you’re much better at empathy than me, then," he said, still struggling to wrap his mind around the foreign ma—Force of this dimension. It made sense, though, that a power so alive itself would connect more personally with those who wielded it. “I can’t read emotions from it at all. I would have thought, though,” he continued, his eyes sliding over to focus on a distant point somewhere above Obi-Wan’s head, “that it would feel rather big, if it’s the counterpart to this entire—er—Jelly system here. Or does the light side outweigh the dark?”
Obi-Wan was intrigued by this man's background and he would love to spend time listening to all the adventures Chrestomanci had been part of, but this now wasn't about adventures. It was about a danger that would affect the entire galaxy. "Jedi," Obi-Wan corrected, but did not put the mistake against the man before him.
"The Force should be in balance, to a certain extent," Obi-Wan began to explain. "The Force is nor light or dark, the Force is just there, like air is. It depends on how you wield it and for the majority of the time, it is used for good, by the Jedi," he explained. "The Sith were a group of Force users that wielded it not for the greater good, but as a weapon to get what they wanted. We believe the Sith are extinct, but we know this is not entirely true. My own Master was slain by a Sith."
Obi-Wan looked out over the city shortly, only a vague memory of grief meeting him at the mention of Master Qui-Gon's death. "The Jedi cannot feel everything through the Force and everyone that uses it, but we would know if it were being misused on a large scale, which we now fear is the truth."
