You look at your alarm as it’s non stop blaring wakes you from your sleep. While turning off the alarm you think to yourself, ‘Why do I have school today? I wish I could stay home.’
You get out of bed and get ready for the day. When you’re done you head to the dining room. You’re the last one to arrive.
As you get closer to the door you hear the brothers talking but can’t make out any of their words because of their hushed tones. As you enter all the brothers stop talking and look at you. You notice this but decide to brush it off.
“Good Morning everyone.” you say while walking over to your seat at the table and sit down. “Good Morning!” Asmo says a little too cheerful. “Morning (Y/N)” says Satan.
Levi, Mammon, Belphie and Beel leave as soon as you sit down. “Good Morning Mikayla.” says Lucifer as he watches his brothers leave the room. You watch the three brothers leave with confusion on your face.
There was an unpleasant silence in the dining room so you decide to eat your breakfast quickly so you can get out of there. As you’re eating your breakfast you stop eating and notice no one has said happy birthday to you. Maybe they don’t celebrate birthdays? Or maybe they have forgotten? No, there’s no way they could have forgotten, you have been talking about this for days, subtly of course. You get pulled out of your train of thought by a voice. “(Y/N)?” says Lucifer. “Oh… Um yes?” you say as you look at Lucifer as he and Satan are standing up. “We are going to head to school would you like to walk with us?” asks Lucifer. “No thank you, I’m going to finish my breakfast, but thank you for the offer.” you say as you look at your barely touched plate full of food. “Okay just don’t be late.” says Lucifer as him and Satan walk out of the room. You finish your breakfast and head off to school.
The school bell rings indicating that it is lunch time. You walk to the cafeteria and expect the brothers to be sitting at your normal table but they aren’t there which is odd because they normally get there before you. You notice Luke, Simeon, and Solomon sitting at a table and you walk over. “Hey guys…” you say a little nervous. “Hello (Y/N). What are you doing over here?” asks Simeon. “Um I was wondering if I could sit with you guys today?” you ask while watching for their reactions. They all look at each other and nod their heads. “Of course you can!” says Luke. You sit down and eat your lunch while talking and laughing with the three of them.
As you’re leaving the cafeteria you spot Levi. You run up to him. “Levi!!” He turns around, sees you and his eyes go wide. “Why weren’t you in the cafeteria?” “Um…. I’ve got to go!” He then runs away.
‘What’s going on? Why are they acting so weird? Did I do something wrong?’ You think about these questions all throughout the rest of the day.
At the end of the day the final bell rings. You get a message from Lucifer. You pull out your DDD and read the message:
Lucifer: Diavolo has called a student council meeting. None of us are able to walk you home. I have arranged for Simeon to walk you home.
You: Ok thank you for letting me know.
Just you are about to put your DDD away, you get another message:
Lucifer: I know that it’s short notice but Diavolo is having a special formal gathering for the student council members and the exchange students. It is mandatory that you are there.
You: Oh ok, I’ll be there.
You put your DDD away and meet up with Simeon and head home.
You thank Simeon for walking you home and you go inside. The house is very quiet, especially since you pre the only one home. You head to your room and get ready. You decide on a red dress with black heels and some light jewelry. Just as you are finishing up your makeup you hear a knock at your door. “Come in!” You yell so they can hear you from the bathroom. Lucifer comes in and asks if you’re ready to go. You say yes and you follow him to the entrance hall and out the door. “Where is everyone else?” You ask curious and suspicious. “They are already there.” Says Lucifer not looking at you. You continue to Diavolo’s in silence. As you walk in you’re treated with a, “SURPRISE!”
You look around the room and see Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Luke, Solomon, and all the brothers. There’s streamers, balloons, a cake and a banner with ‘Happy Birthday’ written in giant letters. You stand there in shock before you start crying. Everyone’s faces turn to concern. With concern in his voice, Lucifer asks, “Why are you crying?” You look at everyone and then at Lucifer, “I..I thought you and your brothers were mad at me. You guys were avoiding me all day today. And I thought you forgot my birthday and….” Lucifer interrupts you, “The reason you didn’t see us today is because some of us…” he looks at Beel, Levi, Mammon, and Belphie. “....can’t keep a secret at all or from you. And as for the forgetting part of course we didn’t forget. You’re special to us.” You look at everyone and say, “Thank you all so much for this. I really appreciate it.” “Okay let’s get this party started!” says Mammon as the music starts to play. You laugh and dance with everyone and enjoy yourself. Diavolo stops the music and asks for everyone’s attention. He announces that it's time for presents. “Awe you guys didn’t have to get me anything!” you say. “It’s customary in the human world to give presents so we want to embrace your customs while you are here.” says Diavolo with a gentle smile. You head over to the table with the gifts. Mammon hands his gift to you and says that you should open it first. You smile and start to open it.
Mammon gives you a bracelet with the words ‘Mammon was my first”. You blush as you read the words. Asmo gives you a dress in your (F/C). Satan gives you a book written by your favorite author. Levi gives you a game the two of you can play together. Lucifer gives you a necklace that compliments your eyes. Beel gives you a coupon for your favorite restaurant in Devildom. Belphie gives you the softest blanket ever. Diavolo gives you a case for your DDD. Luke gives you a cookbook. Simeon gives you angel wing earrings. Solomon gives you a souvenir from your home. You look at everyone and say thank you and hug each individual person. “There’s one more person that needs to give you a gift.” says Diavolo. Much to your surprise you see Barbatos come out of the kitchen with a large birthday cake. You look over at Beel and see him drooling. Barbatos puts the cake on the table. “Thank you so much Barbatos!” you say walking up to him to give him a hug. “You’re welcome, it’s also your favorite flavor.” say Barbatos as you pull out of the hug. “No way thank you!”
Everyone gets some cake and eats it. After that cake has been eaten you say your goodbyes and everyone heads home.
