I've been thinking about combining this blog and my obey me blog. I don't post super often on either, and I am an incredibly slow writer so the content per blog would increase slightly.
But more importantly I interact more in the Obey Me community than the Ikesen one since there's a lot more activity in it.
Plus I can't seem to comment with my side blog or send asks and it creates a lot of confusion for the people in the Obey Me community I do interact with. And just added layers of difficulty for me.
So my.... like 4 followers lol are you okay with that? It would become just a general blog. Ikemen Sengoku, Obey Me, and any other fandom or interest or hobby or thoughts I have.
Diavolo: “Okay everyone. Last year we did a secret gift exchange and…there were some interesting results…”
Luke: “I ended up with silky red thongs!”
Asmodeus: “If you didn’t like it you could’ve just given them to me!”
Luke: “No!”
Diavolo: “Anyway…this year we are playing a different kind of gifting game. MC, take it away!”
MC: “What? I was supposed to explain?”
Diavolo: “Yes!”
MC: “Okay-Uh…We will be doing a fun game called secret Santa. In this version, you know who you’ll be getting a gift for, but they don’t know who their Santa is, that’s why it’s called secret Santa.”
Luke: “Can we choose who we get?”
MC: “Nope. You draw names out of a hat and there’s usually a money limit and we should probably do that because some of us aren’t rich and don’t want to give lousy presents in comparison to whatever the hell Diavolo might get you.”
Mammon: “So what’s the limit, then?”
Diavolo: “Hm…does a million grim sound okay?”
MC: “Hell no, that’s almost ten thousand dollars worth?”
Diavolo: “How much grim do you have then?”
MC: “…”
MC: “Like a dollar’s worth…so about 100 grim….”
Everyone: “…”
Lucifer: “Mammon what’d you do?”
Mammon: “Huh!? Nothing!”
MC: “I may have gotten carried away last time I went shopping….it’s okay…I’ll just work again…”
Barbatos: “Yes, I’d advise that…”
MC: “Right…anyway by Christmas I should have about 20,000 grim if I work hard enough…but maybe 2,000 grim would be enough.”
Satan: “Can you even buy something decent with that?”
MC: “Yes!”
Diavolo: “Alright then. How about we just don’t stress our bank accounts?”
MC: “No! I’m gonna feel bad when one of you ends up with something lame and everyone else gets a diamond necklace or something?”
Diavolo: “If I’m not the person you’re gifting then you can ask me for help, I’m sure Lucifer would do the same.”
MC: “Well then I’m gonna feel bad about spending your money???”
Simeon: “How about you make them something. A handmade gift speaks volumes.”
MC: “Hm…I guess that could work…but I still feel there should be some kind of rule.”
Lucifer: “I think the only rule should be obvious. That we get what that person wants and not something we’d like so they can just return it to you like last year.”
Simeon: “I really liked my gift last year though.”
Diavolo: “Me too, but…some people, like Luke…ended up with silk thongs…”

She does! She was raised so strictly and so constantly busy her entire life so she never got to have a "normal" pet or play outside like a normal kid. Her family has horses (and now so does she), but they also have stable masters to take care of the horses so it's not the same. She did play with and love on many outdoor cats in her youth though.
Her life has always been very scheduled for her, and she wasn't allowed to get dirty if she went outside. But nature is so beautiful and serene to her. She feels better out in it, like she can quiet the world. She always snuck away as a kid every chance she got.
As an adult, her mansion sits on many acres of manicured gardens surrounded by forests which she walks every chance she gets. She takes an active role in working with her head gardener, Daniel, to design beautiful landscaping. Her horses are still looked after by someone else, but she has 2 cats of her own- Lucifur and Mr. Darcy Daintypaws.

Kita also loves being up high. She could hide from the nannies and maids by climbing tall trees and reading for hours. Daniel, who used to be her mother's gardener and has known Kita from birth, always found her though.
As an acrobat, she loves feeling high above the world. It's like her troubles can't reach her. She loves feeling weightless so she especially loves the trapeze, but aerial silks also hold a special place in her heart. There's so much beauty in movement, and she is a sucker for art.
Maybe that's why so many of her gardens feature water in some way or another? The way the blue cuts through her dreamscape reminds me of water flowing into a pool, which is an aesthetic/experience she greatly enjoys.

there are two so I added a small explanation of each
memories: a town from her past. if you've read the final chapter of reminiscent, this is jelly's memory of the town where it all happened. all the homes in this old and derelict town are filled with light and warmth, but sadly, jelly's home was filled with something more daunting
Guardian Angels: this one is what represents jelly the most; it is completely and fully her. she never forgets the ones who saved her, she will always consider them as her guardian angels even though they are demons. jelly has always craved to be held, to recieve motherly love. alas, she os perfectly content with the one who holds her now. the small flowers of love sprout from all of her memories and experiences, no matter how dark and painful her life is, she will always love.

When marking their place in a book, does your character use a bookmark, dog-ear the page, place the book open and facedown, memorize the page number, or something else?
My main MC, Kita, uses bookmarks or memorizes page numbers for novels. She uses post-its for research or work that are color coded. She will lay a book face down open only for a moment if needed, but she is reverent to books and worries for their spines.

Yeaaah. Way to continue to be the most toxic fandom I have ever fucking known.
So, last night the silhouettes for the new characters were teased, and Twitter (probably Insta and Facebook too, but I don't go there) got really excited about it. One of them looks feminine, so people started using she/her pronouns for the character, excited that we might actually get a female (or at least fem-presenting) character in Obey Me. The first one in two years, no less.
And then a bunch of data miners and leakers got in an uproar, because apparently they've known who these characters for months, over pronouns.
I need you to take a step back and think about what you're doing here. Over 90% of us didn't know diddly jack shit about these characters, and (I'm pretty sure) the majority of those 90%, like myself, didn't want to know anything about them, didn't want to be spoiled, but you did it anyways because you wanted to be pissy about it over misgendering.
I DON'T KNOW THEIR GENDER. I DON'T KNOW THE FIRST FUCKING THING ABOUT THEM. PEOPLE ARE NOT INTENTIONALLY MISGENDERING A CHARACTER THEY DO NOT KNOW. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. WHY CAN'T YOU LET PEOPLE BE EXCITED FOR SHIT AND MAKE THEORIES?

Listen, I'm fucking trans as fuck alright? I hate misgendering. But if I don't know the person's gender, I'm going to ask. And since I can't directly ask in this case, I'll wait, patiently, for the reveal. Or at least that was my intention.
Instead, now I've got to unfollow a bunch of people whom I thought were friends for ruining the fucking game for me.
The correct move here would have been to shut the fuck up. Just shut up entirely. Either go "Ohoho~! Just wait and see~! 🤭", or just wait for the official reveal and then say "Hah! I knew they were non-binary!"
If you thought that ruining the game for everyone in order to correct misgendering was the move here, it really fucking wasn't. And you are not the trans ally you thought you were. This wasn't an issue until y'all opened your fucking mouths to be right, instead of considering others' feelings first.
Also Solmare has asked, begged even, for people to stop datamining and leaking shit from their game. Repeatedly. Maybe cut that shit out.
At this point I wish they'd never even teased the silhouettes. We do not fucking deserve a season 4.
Like this talk of new characters is revealing some gross shit in the fandom tbh.
1) Not everyone who is playing Obey Me is a woman. Like yes a female character would be great for women who love women but you know men and nb people who love women also play this game right?
2) Why do all of you seem to think MC is a woman? They’re not. They can be literally anything because they are a sheep. And we as the players get to decide what they are for ourselves- but not for anyone else.
3) Even if MC was a woman, that wouldn’t mean a female character would automatically be her rival? Don’t be sexist, and also, the female character could be a lesbian or something.
4) Also, why are we assuming a female character would want to date the boys anyway? Literally nothing has been confirmed about this yet so why are we jumping to that assumption?
5) On that note, we don’t even know if it IS a female character. Stop assuming people with that body type have to be women.
And as I already said on another post, the boys like all genders. So a male or nb character could also hypothetically be a rival to the MC.
I’m excited about the new characters personally. And I get y'all are excited too. But I’m already seeing bad and concerning takes about them and I’m already getting irritated to be honest.
