First Up: Daleth, the Isle of Dawn Elder (He/Him , Ukrainian & Turkish)

One of the oldest among the Elders, Daleth serves as a shepherd to those who have freshly been reborn/reincarnated. He remains as a pillar of patience above all else, embodying that virtue to his very core.

His temple resides at the exact edge of the Isle upon its tallest viable cliff face - it is filled with murals and remnants of the past made to ensure none forget their origins.

"If one lacks patience for oneself, how may they ever have respect for others?"

Ayin, The Daylight Prairie Elder (He/Him, Chinese)

Less of a ruler and more of a respected advisor, Ayin guides those who reside within the Prairie to pursue their own passions and explore who they wish to be in their lives.

His temple is one made to allow the most light into its halls and provides a place of safety and refuge from the cruelties life may present.

"To exist is to know what you wish for yourself. Without it, you may stray down a path that consumes you whole."

Teth, The Hidden Forest Elder (She/Her, Mongolian)

She serves as a bringer of Justice to the people, ensuring that laws are strictly adhered to and followed for the sake of everyone's safety. Teth oversees all projects in need of funding regardless of their nature. If you want anything approved, it must pass by her first.

Her Temple is constructed to be a great hall in which the court would commence. It was where the people brought up their grievances and proposed solutions to the Kingdoms problems. Any deemed worthy enough would pass onwards towards The King.

"A world cannot function without law or order, less it falls to chaos and despair. Never forget that."

Core Virtue(s): Justice, Humility

Design Based on: A mix of both traditional Chinese Hanfu (specifically from the Ming Dynasty) and Mongolian attire. Alongside this, Disney's Mulan also served as a slight bit of inspiration.

Sahmekh, The Valley of Triumph Elder(s) (All Pronouns , Egyptian + Croation & Polish)

The youngest of the Elders - having inherited the role from their mother - Sahmekh serves as the main host of the Kingdom's wider entertainment industries! What is life without a bit of fun and daring adventure?! The Twins keep the morale and spirit of the people high even in the darkest of times, allowing money to flow into the arts, music, competitive sports, talent shows and much more.

The Valley Temple is a place where champions of the Colosseum are immortalised in its many halls, each cut in the walls; a snippet into their lives and achievements.

"You've gotten your talents now so show them off! The whole world deserves to see what you have made of yourself"

Core Virtue(s): Charity, Kindness

Design based on: Gladiatorial attire (Roman Empire) & General simple dress/gown styles. Paired with an over-shawl for additional warmth. Not very warm clothing to reflect their status since the Valley is otherwise rather cold thanks to the icy mountains.

Tsadi, The Golden Wasteland Elder (He/They , Nepali & Saudi Arabian)

Steadfast and resolute does this giant man stand before entire armies and battalions ready to defend their homes and way of life - Tsadi is no stranger to the strife that plagued this world even before the Darkness fell upon the lands. He strives to protect just as much as his will to solve conflicts before a single bruise or cut can dare exist. Diplomacy is his duty, to resolve tensions before anyone has to suffer for the ignorance of those in power.

The Wasteland Temple is one that is strictly guarded for it is the very place that leads to the great halls of the Vault of Knowledge and the Castle. It is heavily fortified and spacious. In times of need, it serves as a place of the utmost safety for all civilians regardless of social standing.

"Violence is never the answer. It is the final straw and one that must only be drawn in defence of those who cannot defend themselves."

Core Virtue(s): Fortitude, Diligence

Design based on: Ancient Byzantine Armour & over-cloak (green part) combined with a more impractical length to display his diplomatic nature.

Lamed, The Vault of Knowledge Elder (She/Her , Ethiopian)

The Right Hand of the King himself, the Lady of the Light and the interpreter of the Divine itself; Lady Lamed of the Vault of Knowledge. Memories are the sole thing that makes a person who they are - without memory one loses who they were and who they were meant to be all together. The duty Lady Lamed has been bestowed with is to record the memories of all the Skies cherished people, to acknowledge their existence and ensure that it remains should the tides of change sweep through their lands and erase their society: The Memories would remain forevermore till the universe ceased to exist.

The Vault of Knowledge is a place of winding halls, endless rows of memory files and scrolls and books and tomes, of histories stored since the dawn of time and of every person to have ever existed since its foundation. Acolytes crowd these halls and its grand chambers - sites of worship and connection with one another.

"Memory is what gives us purpose. Memory is the purest gift of which our All Mother, Megabird, has deemed us worthy of receiving. We shall not disgrace such purity."

Design based on: Traditional Catholic Priest attire mixed with certain design elements of Tella Dresses (Ethiopian specifically) although with a more fantasy twist. The folds in the back of the dress show status within the Vault of Knowledge - 4 Levels of the Vault, 4 folds = Highest, and so on

King Resh, The Elder of Eden and the Lord on High (He/They , Ugandan & Bangladeshi)

Rising from a simple travelling boy to the King of the Kingdom - His Majesty uses his power for the betterment of his people, even if that power may corrupt him and his judgement in time. To protect his people and to ensure their future: The Darkness Must Die.

The Kingdom was united by a boy's dream.

The Kingdom shall crumble under the ambitions of a man.

It is written.

For one who seeks for unity of all, he certainly cannot comprehend the darkness within himself that fractures all he had sworn to protect.

"Discord can never be allowed to exist unchecked. The Crown tolerates no such fiends. My word shall cut all that plagues my people down before it can consume them whole."

Design Based on: Idfk I just went with whatever + cloak based on the cloaks worn by British Monarchs upon their coronation (but less detailed) - My reasoning? I'm British so why not

Prince Ozias, The Jewel of the Kingdom (He/Him , Ethiopian & Bangladeshi)

Born from a wish to the All Mother, The Prince is a treasure to the Skies People. A golden light shimmering upon thousands of faces tilted upwards in reverence towards a Goddess who had shed tears for their existence.

He is refined, a perfect picture of dedication and success. The perfect chess piece. The perfect centerpiece for any display. The Perfect Son, and the Perfect Heir. Perhaps it is so, to the common people and those ignorant few in power.

To the Prince himself? To his guards? To the servants who raised him more than his father? To the people who saw him as a person and not as proof of divine favour? Nothing of the sort. Not a perfect doll with no cracks across its porcelain skin, but a boy burdened with the fate of the entire Kingdom far too young.

"There may yet be a day where all of this comes crashing down. I swear to you, upon my honour as your Prince and as myself, I shall be standing beside you when that day comes."
