Finally finished a project this year I started back in January. Did a bit of experimenting with my painting style, pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Even though I”ve more or less moved onto Twitter now,I’ll still try to post here now and again. This one was an idea from a friend, a robot mage. So I ran with it. Pretty pleased with how it turned out for the most part.

So, the new Sonic movie posters are a hot thing and the stuff of nightmares. So I wanted to do my own take on a “Hollywood designed” Sonic movie. Trying to keep the Teen Delinquent factor.  Please be sure to follow me on https://twitter.com/Oak_Thorn

More sites may soon to follow, but that will be my first stop. I know I haven’t drawn much this year, but I have spent a good chunk of time this year trying to improve my craft. This was an lightly requested picture from a friend which I decided to fully render. I hope you all enjoy.

Hey, guess who’s back? Thing was I never left, I just have been very slow when it comes to making art. Job taking up time, general stress of things recently happening in my life. But this is a project I’ve been wanting to make for quite some time. Odin Sphere is perhaps in my top 10 favorite games. Great story, characters and the new version makes the combat great which was what lacked in the original.  Here comes the Pooka prince, Cornelius. I love dramatic and dynamic lighting, even if I may not have puled it off perfectly. I might reblog this later if I post it at a poor time. hope you all enjoy. 

Another Zootopia Thematic picture. This time on Swords and Sorcery, which is not quite the same as HIgh Fantasy. Think Conan the Barbarian. I post so many zootopia pictures this may as well be a blog for it. I was experimenting with the style, trying to go for a fantasy oil painting aesthetic. I’m moderately pleased with how it turned out. Hopefully whatever I do next will be better. 

Just a silly little Valentine’s day picture I whipped up. Wanted to experiment with some weird lighting. It’s been a while since I’ve done a bit of art so I feel a bit rusty.  Hope you all enjoy still.
