I know I have a poor sense of humor.
So, you need a Golden Camel Cloth in order to make the animal costumes. You can get Camel first on your 4th year, and I am still on my 3rd year. But, then I suddenly remembered that a kind soul gave me 4 Camel furs during my usual wifi visit sometimes ago, so of course I just had to make the Cat and Dog Costume at once.
It’s kinda disappointing how nonchalant most of the townspeople are. Only few reacted to it, and Lutz even called me uncute when he saw me in my dog costume. But, at least Menou thinks I am cute enough and she wants to hug me. I know I have my reasons for liking that girl ;w;
Perhaps everyone else is too afraid or weirded out to say anything.
(Inside a random villager’s head) Uh, should I comment on the costume? Or would that be too rude? That is [name of protagonist], right? …Isn’t it? Well, maybe I’ll just act like everything’s normal. Right-O.
What makes me sad is that, according to the guidebook, Edda has reactions for many of the animal costumes! However, it’s pretty much impossible to actually show any of them to her! Dx That’s so cruel, Marvelous!

Hnnngh, I wonder if the finished costumes are tradeable, then. Gotta check it next time I play! I am sure that even the easiest one require HQ materials to make and they are not tradeable. I think you can't unlock Ice Country before Winter 1st year either, so you can't just buy the penguin one...
