may I please request a Luffy x fem reader, where the reader went out on a mission with Usopp and he actually did something pretty brave and when they got back to the shop Usopp kept talking about how brave he was but everyone thought he was making it up until the reader started boasting about how awesome he was and then Luffy gets all jealous that the readers attention was on Usopp. It’s kind of a weird request but I thought it would be cute. Thank you :)
Everyone loves Jealous luffy so much. Not that im complaining (AT ALL) its just i get a lot of requests that involve luffy getting jealous.
Usopp was is a coward, everyone on the crew knew it, in fact it had become kind of a joke among everyone. You don't know how you had ended up with Usopp, so far away from everyone else on the crew but there you were, exploring the island the with the crews coward.
"Are you scared? Don't worry, ill protect you." He says confidently, he even takes a slight half step infront of you to ensure your safety. "The crew doesn't give me half the credit I deserve." He complains, gesturing with his hands as he speaks to you, explaining that without him they would all be dead now. You nodded a little, thinking of a select few times where he had been brave and saved the day for the crew, he was a vital member, you agreed.
It was so quick, so quick in fact that you hadnt even registered what happened until seconds later, a body, not Usopps, was on the ground beside you, just out of sight. Usopp had his sling shot drawn, ready to kill another attacker but no one came. "Woah! Usopp! That was amazing!" You praised, giving him a tight hug. "What happened!?"
"I- I dont know!" He starts, putting the slingshot back on his back. "I just- it was like I felt it before it happened." Haki? You wondered silently to yourself. "Then I moved! Against my will!" You laughed a little, patting his head and giving him another hug.
When you two got back to the ship Usopp was buzzing with excitement, he had been talking about the moment the entire way back, making slight alterations to make it sound ten times cooler than it already was. "So, there we were." He starts, hands outstretched, setting the scene for the rest of the crew, going into detail about how the jungle was so thick that neither of you could see more than a few feet ahead of you at a time. "Then, out of nowhere 10 bandits show up! I take them all out effortlessly." He mimics his own movements with an invisible slingshot and "shoots" the other crewmates playfully. "And i did it so fast that she didn't even see a thing." He points at you now, and so does everyone else, luffy especially.
"Well." You start shyly, not expecting the attention to be all on you in just a few seconds, the story was true, half true anyway, were there ten bandits? No, just one, did he end up killing the guy before you could even turn, yes. "There werent quite that many, but it was super cool!" You exclaimed, and the rest of the crew began to watch the both of you with growing intrest, all but luffy who now seemed like hed be more excited to starve. "We were walking through the jungle, it was thick, hot, humid, I was in the middle of speaking when BAM! Usopp has eliminated a threat in didnt even know was there until he shot them all down before I could even react!" You smiled brightly, shaking Usopp slightly. "I would be seriously hurt right now if not for him!" You laughed happily.
Luffy interjected as usopp began speaking with his own adventures. "Well, thats nothing, I killed like- 100 men in like 5 seconds." Luffy shrugged. "10 men would be so easy for me." He boasts.
"Yeah well could you have done it before she even knew they were there?"
"Well then how did she get hurt on the last island when she was looking around with you?" Usopp asked, shaking his head, not noticing that Luffy's demeanor had changed completely. "I mean, it wasnt that hard." Usopp shrugged.
Luffy pouted deeply, looking to you, who was the only one to notice. You watch as he sulks out of the room, his arms literally dragging on the floor on his way to the door, his devilfruit creating the allusion that he was melting down. You got up soon after, following him to your shared room. You walked in to find him pouting on the bed, laying down on his back, eyes fixed on something above him that you couldn't see.
"Luffy." You laugh a little, shaking your head at his antics. "Whats wrong?"
"Nothin'." He says, moving to a sitting position now, looking at you. "Why don't you go back to Usopp." His words take a second to register in your head, and when they do you begin giggling.
"Luffy." You laugh some more, your giggling turning into a full laughing fit by the time you reach him and his serious attitude, you gave him a small kiss and held his face in your hands. "Theres nothing to be jealous of, he only took out one man."
"Whatever." He pouted a little less. "I'm cooler." He says confidently, pulling you closer and resting his head on your chest.
"So much cooler." You kiss the top of his head.
