Final meal or our trip (at Hunan House, back in the French Concession) was a good one, despite the initial non-arrival of one of our dishes.

With a little time before our meal reservation, we travelled over to look at Tianzifang, a shopping area set into lanes (like the old city but not really). It was ok but we had no particular interest in the stuff on sale so headed for a bar where Sue tried a pretty decent dirty martini.

Apparently China has one of the world's highest recycling rates. This shows something of how it seems to work - individuals all over the city collect cardboard, plastic bottles etc and these are in turn delivered to vehicles ready to take them to the next stage.
