I realised even though I had all the drawings on here I never actually posted the links to my story so here are those sorry that it’s kinda late but this is the updated version and these links should now work.

Having heard nothing from the one they’d known only as Nari Drake, Gajeel Redfox, Juvia Lockser and Totomaru Enyoku resolve to find her and get answers about who she truly is and what exactly she’s running from.

Only to once more be outmanoeuvred. Given nothing more than cold, vacant parting words.

Forget me.

So I kinda went like three months without updating oops decided not to redraw this one since I really liked it but I have two versions and I’m pressed on which one I’m going to put in the story so I’ll post both here. I hope you like them, given I mostly draw pencil this is probably the closest to a digital drawing I can pull off which is to say I just edited it in an app and thought the inverse filter looked cool on it. Especially since I accidentally coloured her eyelashes although for purposes of my sanity I’ll just say she’s wearing mascara here to blend in which isn’t out of character as she did that during the phantom arc. I’m also posting this before I’ve actually published the chapter so I don’t forget too as I often do.

Anyway the next few arcs for the story are probably going to be the most emotionally harrowing things I’ve written in recent years and part of why will soon be revealed. A Fallen Star.

The battle is over, Jellal has fallen as has the tower of heaven and she has once more escaped from those chasing after her. Yet Nami feels as though she has nothing left, she has gotten to close to others and where they to stay at her side they would only meet their end. Despite her cruel hearted nature she cannot bear the weight of losing anyone else. So she abandons them, revealing her true nature as nothing more than a monster. Yet Natsu Dragneel knows they share some deeper connection and wants to know why she saved his life when she’d been trying so hard to take it. Who she truly was. Yet it is not an answer she even knows herself anymore. All she can do is fly away into the night, after all, when is a monster not a monster?

The conclusion to Act 1 of my Fairy tail story, it’s been such a journey and an adventure and I’m so greatful for all the love and support. I hope you guys like this last drawing, I figured I’d go with a bit of a call back to the first chapter in which she was drawn with her back turned and I think I’ve definitely improved since then at least with drawing hair. I’ve been redrawing most of my drawings but this one is exactly the same since I think this one was pretty good and there’s not much that would change even if I redrew it. A Dragon’s Rage

Having felt as though she has lost everything, the one person who was always a pillar of support, left raw in the wake of such a lose all Nami can do is what she knows how, destroy. To take from Jellal everything he held dear, to inflict all the pain he had onto her. A leave nothing remaining of his precious tower. Yet her strength is still not enough to beat him in combat. Defeated, severely wounded and barely able to move all she can do is listen to the raging fight as the tower threatens to crumble down around them curtesy of her own plan.

I am so proud of this one, it genuinely took me like a month in total of on and off progress, of course I wasn’t always working on it since a lot of stuff happened in the months I was drawing and writing for this chapter. So please just ignore any little mistakes you might spot because it too me forever to finish this one and I will not be doing a coloured drawing if this scale any time soon again because I also majorly burnt myself out on this one. But I’m just so happy with how it turned out. I also jokingly called titled this drawing Jellal has a very bad day. Because I mean, I’m not wrong. Also tagged trigger warnings for blood for well obvious reasons plus suicidal ideation, since I’m not entirely sure where saying ‘you should have killed me’ to a man definitely trying to do that whilst your bleeding out and then destroying the tower you’re literally standing in fits but it isn’t exactly mentally healthy.

Love To Hate

It had been almost eight years since Erza Scarlet last saw Jellal Fernandez, though he was always with her in her every terrified thought, every nightmare and dark moment. All she could do was train to become stronger, strong enough to one day face him and finally make up for her failings all those years ago. The love she’d once felt so strongly for him now replaced with nothing more than seething burning hatred so intense it had been simply burning a hole in her chest all these years. Or at least that was what she told herself.

Decided to do a drawing of Jellal and Erza with their positions intentionally reversed, so that Erza looks the frightening one. Though given the way I drew it I will admit it does look like Erza’s about the whack Jellal as hard as she fucking can which is admittedly hilarious and one of the reasons I think this drawing is one of my favourites. But boy is Jellal’s eye symbol hard to draw.

Checkmate in 3

Within the walls of the Magic Council, Lucille Morningstar is at last starting to make her move, through darkness and shadows and countless secrets, she has been plotting for countless years now and has allies in places none can ever know off. Seeking to fix her past mistakes, she forms a plan yet soon finds she is no longer alone.

Another drawing of Lucille/Zoë looking appropriately sinister, this one was a bit rushed and as you can probably tell from all the eraser lines I struggled a bit but I think it turned out alright eventually, tried to make some slight changes to her clothes and hair because nobody dresses exactly the same everyday. And she’s up to something, this chapter came with a pretty big reveal well it came with several but I’ll take my time in unravelling the truth.

The Forming of Unbreakable Bonds

Forced to face down a former enemy turned alley after reaching out, Lucy Heartphilia is able to find a way to connect her heart with Juvia Lockser only to learn they are far more alike than she had ever believed. Witness to everything she had suffered she is at last able to come to understand the wish deep within Juvia’s heart as well as the budding hope and together she knows there is no wall they cannot overcome.

Wasn’t sure what to draw for this chapter so went for Juvia and Lucy, cause I love them both and their unison raid was one of the first we got in the series and I feel it lives up to the hype of that too. I also lowkey ship them and yes I am taking this moment to offer I short one shot I wrote about them Enchanted on Ao3, findable if you follow the pinned link to my stories. It is locked to members only though, sorry for that but with all the Ai bot scrapers out there I’m not risking it.

The Wilted Lily

Up against an unbeatable monster, Cassiopeia, the queen of the heavens, Nami can do nothing to fight back against the woman who outclasses and outskills her on every level. Nothing but accept her defeat. Yet before she can lay down and finally give up, the voice that haunts her every waking nightmare long calls out to her once more. Refusing to leave her side, even from beyond the afterlife. And grants her the courage she so desperately needs.

Yikes did I delay in posting this, whoops. I’m actually really proud with how this one turned out and think it’s definitely better than the first time I did it. The only thing I struggled with once more is the mouth, why must they be so troublesome to draw? Eventually I’ll probably reveal her face. But I hope you like this one. And forgot to sign my name on this one so had to add it when I was cropping the photo.

The Game of Heaven.

After finally reuniting with his partner Happy, Natsu Dragneel is more than eager to leave the unsettling tower of heaven having dished out more than sufficient retribution for the insult yet finds himself thrust into a twisted game and comes face to face with an assassin determined to snuff him out. Yet he won’t go down quite so easy.

So this is pretty much just a redraw of the panel from the manga with my own take on Natsu’s appearance because I realised I’ve never actually described him with my headcannons before now and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out all things considered, but how the hell does his hair work? Cause I still don’t know the answer to that but I tried my best to get it right.

The Eyes of a dragon

With enemies around every corner and every side and no way to escape the one known as Nari Drake now just Nami, has no way of escape. But much like a beast backed into a corner, there is nothing she will not do to escape.

Went for something a bit different here and tried to do some shading and colouring with an intentional call back to the drawing of Ramiel and Raguel to show she’s just as intimidating as they are plus I finally have a gold fineliner so I can do her dragon slayer markings with it. I hope you guys like this one I really tried to go all out with the menacing factor here.

Totomaru wasn’t quite sure how he’d come to be in the Tower of Heaven, fighting at the side of once sworn enemies. But none of that mattered all that did was doing whatever it took to find his friend, if she was even still alive that is.

A quick drawing I did of Totomaru though now that I’m looking at it I realise I forgot to shade the hair which is why he looks a little off, oops. I’ll post an updated version soon and yeah he’s in my story because I just think he’s neat, he’s my little guy. Though I absolutely suck at drawing katana’s that’s for sure.

High within the walls of the tower which reaches towards the heaven’s, lurks a woman with golden eyes and a blood red smile, silently plotting as she waits for the return of the little dragon which escaped her long ago. Cassiopeia, a seemingly undefeated foe wielding the strength of Heaven itself and the title of Queen.

Another OC from my Fairy Tail Story, with mysterious aims and intents though she’ll become very relevant later on. Anyway I hope you like. The mouth looks a little wonky but I tried, probably the best I’ve ever done hands though.

The Celestial Princess

While Nari Drake seeks to leave behind those she’s come to care for no matter her attempts to tell herself otherwise. Trailing after her are two sisters hiding plain in sight among the light, bareing the names of angels, yet within their eyes lays only rage and darkness as they follow. Seeking what was once taken from them, no matter how much blood they must shed to get it.

Two more major characters from my Fairy Tail story Astronomical, I’m really happy with how this one turned out since I think I nailed the eerie smiling but murderous look I was going for though Ramiel’s legs look only slightly broken. I hope you like it.

Creeping Darkness

Zoë Astrophel formerly of Fairy Tail was a mystery to most know by the epithet of the Demon Empress, it was believed that she and her children went into hiding following the death of her wife Thea Astrophel. Though this is not entirely the case.

Unknown to most as one who possesses demonic blood, Zoë’s powerful ability known only as Copy allows her to copy not just the physical traits of others but combine these traits to become somebody completely new as well as to copy any magic that she possesses an in depth understanding of. Leaving most to call her a monster. Yet behind her smile lies depths of darkness most could not even begin to fathom.

Another major character in my Fairy Tail story Astronomical readable on AO3, under the profile name NyxTheNightly. Though she’s not a character which appears often yet, she’s extremely important to the story, and is one of the strongest in the guild. Her ability also isn’t as broken as it sounds as she can only copy one magic at a time and using them one after the other takes a heavy toll on her body though she’s still stupid powerful that is in part the point because she’s the same age as Guildarts and supposed to be on about the same level.

Really struggled to get the damn mouth right on this one. But I’m glad with how the rest turned out.

A Monster’s reasons

With the demons defeated and order restablished within the Council’s walls, attention soon returns to those of Fairy Tail and Phantom Lord who are set to answer for the laws they broke so callously. Though Lucille is intent on finally prying some answers from Nari, though whether those answers are truthful one’s is anybody’s guess.

Just a pencil sketch of a scene between Lucille and Nari because I’ll be honest I did not have the energy to ink this whole thing. So it remains kinda rough looking but I’m still happy with it.
