The only “big girl” that is acceptable on Tumblr...
Ok, so elephant in the room here. I am for big girl love and acceptance but,Tumblr has honestly opened my eyes up to what an “acceptable big girl” looks like: light skinned, a little chubby small waste, and a fat ass. That’s great and all but people seriously be on Tumblr stunting like they really love them big girls all for the attention and “some tumblr fame” (whatever the fuck that is).
My future wife (that’s what I call her) and I were having this discussion not too long ago (she resides out in Cali), and we were honestly just having casual convo about this topic. Basically there is only one universal big girl that is acceptable in the world which is fine, but the problem is, the universal big girl aint even big, she just thick in all the right areas. It kills me at times when Big Girl Appreciation comes around on here and I’m seeing the same type of “bigger women” getting praised and boosted (which is fine, I’m not knocking anyone down because they all fine to me), but I’ve always considered bigger/fat women being those who, quite honestly, look like me: rolls, cellulite, arm fat, fat cinnamon rolls, an actual stomach, her ass aint all the way there (LOLZ, my booty getting there soon, she got side rolls, etc.
So basically I’m saying this, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FAT GIRLS & THICK GIRLS. Most niggahs are rooting for thicker women, not fat women. And if they are, they sure do hit that “like” instead of reblog button. This is only what I have been observing lately. Like I said, I root for everybody on here; big, skinny, slim thick, big thick, medium thick, chubbies, fat, etc. If you truly like bigger women, it really shows on your blog, but when I see a consistent pattern of what you reblog versus “I’m all for big girls and fat girls”, then it really hits a question mark.
