Blaine held Rachel close for a minute and said softly to her. “My mom is just thrilled I finally have a girlfriend. Let alone someone as awesome as you. She’ll love anything you got her” Blaine smiled and kissed Rachel’s head before he followed her downstairs to where Cooper was,...
Blaine saw the blush on his girlfriend's cheeks and he smiled to himself. He knew Rachel was still getting used to being with him around his family but Blaine was the same way with her dads. He tried his best to keep his hands to himself around her dads but Rachel made it so hard for him, even when she wasn't trying. He knew her dads didn't mind if they cuddled in front of them or anything but it still made him nervous, he knew what Rachel was feeling but Blaine intended to keep Rachel around for awhile. He figured his parents might as well get used to it, and they didn't really mind either.
Blaine rolled his eyes at Cooper when he yelped in pain from his dad smacking his head. Cooper was just being over dramatic as usual. He turned his attention back to Rachel as she talked to his parents and he could tell how nervous she already seemed. He sighed and kept his arms around her as she talked to calm her down, knowing she was nervous. She always tried to make good first impressions on everyone. Even if that person was unimportant. Rachel always tried her best.
Blaine's mom smiled kindly at Rachel and she took a seat on the couch next to her husband. "You know we have no problem with you staying here Rachel. You're perfect for our Blaine." She winked at the two of them and Blaine's cheeks went red. "Moooom." He shook his head and hid his face in Rachel's shoulder and Blaine's dad smiled too and he joked. "I'm always up for presents. Being Santa is rough on an old man sometimes."
