Never The Same

“I got it.” Servac said as he floated over to the closet, he dug through the boxes for a minute before finding the scraper Eddie mentioned.  He drifted back over and started working on scraping the burnt butter off the stove top.

“Ya know, we could just remodel the kitchen entirely.” he laughed “I think it is about time for one, don’t you think?  This room is getting a little outdated.”

“The mysteries of cooking.  Though, can melting butter really be considered cooking.” he chuckled “Don’t worry about it though.”  Servac gave his boyfriend a quick kiss on the check “It’s just a pan.”

He put a stick of butter into a small pitcher and put it in the microwave.  As they waited for the butter to melt Servac helped Eddie clean up the burnt stove. “This, however, is going to be a nightmare.” he sighed.  This was going to take forever to scrape all the burn marks off.

There’s a laugh from Eddie as well. Genuine... The first in a while, if he thought about it. He didn’t bother to. The kiss was quick to be returned, though not on Servac’s cheek. “I think there’s an ice scraper in the hall closet. Not the best solution, but it should help,” he suggested, looking under the sink for the stove cleaner.

Seeing Eddie standing there with the disaster that was now their stove Servac couldn’t help but laugh.

“Well I think you did more than just burn the butter.  It’s been disintegrated.” he chuckled “I’ll help you clean this up, but, next time, I think it might be safer to just use the microwave.”

“Awww don;’t be like that baby~ Can’t a gentleman have a good conversation~?“ he asked, tilting his head and leaning forward, showing off his floof that accented his chest, “The name’s Angel Dust~ What’s yours~?”

YOU AND ME BOTH UGH… I don’t want no massive body builder bulging hulk muscles. I’m thinkin… Line, toned, outlined, flexed muscles. Big, good muscles… BUT NOT TOO BIG.//

Or how about hidden muscles??? Like big people who don’t look all that muscular, but then they flex and then it’s just like oh

Servac smirked as he pulled Eddie closer, wrapping his arms around the other’s waist “Well, maybe I am.  If you’ll have me, or we can take it slow.  Either way, so long as I’m with you I’ll be happy.”

Thousands of years… Thousands of years he’d lived on this earth, with more partners than he could count, and he had never truly settled.  Never truly found someone he could picture spending the rest of an eternity with.  But none of those people had been Eddie.  Ah, he was truly lucky, and thankful that he had listened to his father when Loki told him to follow his heart, because he would have regretted letting Eddie go forever.

There’s a soft chuckle, but it was clear that what Servac had said made him happy. Even after leaving, after him not being enough, and the teen still wanted him. Eddie pressed a gentle kiss to the other’s lips before he spoke again, arms resting on his shoulders. “Not too slow. I’m not getting any younger, after all.”
