I know this is for NWHL letters but do you know if the CWHL has a fanmail address or if the teams do? I haven't seen anything on any of their websites for it but was wondering if maybe you would know?

After the four-team NWHL dropped the puck in October as the first U.S. womenâs hockey league to pay its players, the other major womenâs hockey league in North America is planning to follow suit.
The Canadian Womenâs Hockey League, which already pays its coaches and general managers, intends to begin paying its players a regular salary beginning next season, according to the Associated Press.
Founded in 2007, the CWHL consists of four teams in Canada and one in the U.S. and players can currently receive prize money for winning a regular season or a playoff title.
The announcement may move the two leagues towards a merger, and CWHL governor and Calgary Flames president Brian Burke suggests the two organizations must continue to work together moving forward.
âI think the more walls we put up, the longer this process is going to take,â Burke said. âIâd rather have everyone sit down and figure out something that worked for both sides.â (x)
Hey, etiquette question - when writing a letter to a player, how is it polite to address them? First name and last name, just first name, Ms. Lastname? I don't often write letters to people I don't know personally, so I'm not sure which would be most polite.
I think either way should work, itâs a fan letter and therefore however you feel comfortable should be all right! Possibly go with a more informal greeting, thatâs what I did with my letter to Kelli Stack!Â

So how does this (mailing a letter to an NWHL player) work?
Thereâs two ways to send fan mail to the NWHL, with the address listed on each of the roster pages, and with an email thatâs on the NWHL website! You just let us know who youâre sending fan mail to and we check her off the list! Our goal is to send every player a fan letter, if we can!Â

Hi everyone! ⼠Myself and ferb from @tjsnoshieâ have created a blog to encourage and facilitate the sending of fanmail letters or emails to the lovely ladies that make up the National Womenâs Hockey League! Our goal is to get every single player in the NWHL a letter - even the back-up goalies and those not on the 18-player rosters. we want every player to know that they are appreciated and that even though they donât get their jersey bought or a ton of attention, there are still hockey fans out there cheering for them and rooting them on!Â
On the blog you will be able to see the rosters of all 4 teams. please send the blog a message, and state which player you would like to send fanmail to and we will mark them off the list! You can absolutely send a letter to hilary knight or other popular players, but please consider sending one to a lesser known player as well, as it is our goal to get every single player a letter!Â
