• Speaking of manning booths at various events!  Are you a people person as well as a Boxer person?  Well, how about filling some of your time learning about the NWBR process so that you can help represent NWBR at events?

CeeCee 1 yr old female Dog friendly Basic commands House and crate trained Possibly cat ok Sutherlin, OR CeeCee is my name and having fun is my game. I just turned 1yr so I have tons of puppy energy. I have already had one litter of puppies but now thank goodness I’m spayed cause I’m just a puppy myself. I am currently living with 2 big boxer brothers and we get along great. I have also met a few little dogs, they weren’t as interesting but I got along just fine with them also. I walk pretty well on a leash but of course could use more practice. I know sit, down, wait, & off. I come when I’m called and pretty much stick around by you when outside anyway. I love to give hugs and kisses. I would love to hang out on the couch with you but I will get off when you ask me to. I sleep in a crate at night and do fine as long as my brothers are beside me in theirs, but if you leave me and take my brothers away I will certainly throw a temper tantrum. I just went swimming today and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the water! I am a great swimmer if I do say so. I am about 49 pounds but my foster parents keep telling me I am all muscle. I am also a great watch dog and will definitely let you know when someone comes up the driveway or in the door, but I am nice when they meet me. I haven’t had the chance to meet any kitties yet but my foster mom says I don’t have as much of a prey drive as my foster brother so I might be ok especially with a dog savvy one but I won’t promise that. I will try to find one to meet and let you know later. My foster mom thinks I may have just a touch of separation anxiety, I say, I just like to be with my buddies. When I first came to my foster house they tried to keep me separated from my new brothers in case they were too rough for me but I showed them, I dug under the gate that had us separated and then lifted the gate right off the hinges. When my foster mom got home all three of us were together and happy as clams. She thinks it would be best if I have at least one fur brother that’s my size and can keep up with my energy in my new home and so I won’t ever have to be alone. I am potty trained but have had a couple of accidents in my foster house but we are working on it. Did I tell you I love car rides also. I love to stick my head out the window and feel the wind in my face and check out all the new smells in the air. I really am a great all around girl, if I may toot my own horn. So if you want to meet me, I would go right now and fill out an adoption application because a girl like me won’t be around for long. I am being fostered in Sutherlin, OR. UPDATE: Today at the vet I met a kitty that was hanging out - I was interested but not too much and when she gave me a little love pat to tell me to keep my distance I did. I'm a chipper, mature guy who is happy and full of life. About a year ago I was adopted from NWBR and due to no fault of my own, I was recently returned after my family had a change in circumstance that prevented them for caring for me any longer. I am 8 years young and love to roam the yard, lounge on the sofa and play with my toys. Tennis balls and tennis ball bone toys are my favorite! My foster parents are whipping me back into shape with daily walks. I really don’t see what the big deal is but they say my pleasantly plump waistline isn't healthy...who knew?! Since I am past the puppy stage you don’t have to worry about me having accidents on the floor, destroying furniture or anything else of yours. I don’t even need to be crated when you leave for work or to run errands, but hint hint...you may want to make sure the trash is out of my reach. I like to go for walks and am very interested in sniffing my environment. If I see something of interest a gentle correction gets me back on track. I love to be around other well-mannered dogs and prefer to eat alone. I will share my toys as long as another dog doesn’t take it from me when I am playing with it. I also live with cats and chickens in my foster home. I like to sniff them when they hold still, but if they run I just can’t resist chasing them. I am friendly with the new people I meet and also with kids, but my foster parents have figured out that I can’t hear very well. I need to see if you if you are trying to get me to follow a command. Hyde 4 yr old male Older dog friendly House and crate trained Mellow personality Seattle, WA. Greetings human friends, My name is Hyde. I am a flashy-fawn four year old male Boxer. I love going on walks with people, hanging out at home and playing in the yard. I am a mellow chap and my energy levels are fairly low which makes me much less of a distraction and I do not require a high level of supervision. I tend to myself and am easily entertained. I get along very well with people and mature dogs. I do well with older dogs because younger pups are too energetic for me and I would rather not spend my time wrestling with them. I need to be introduced slowly to new dogs and shown consistent structure so that I learn the family rules. I do not have any significant behavioral issues and sleep well throughout the night. I am crate and house trained. I love car rides and mostly nap during trips longer than 30 minutes. I bark occasionally and my muffled howl will bring a smile to your face. I am not proficient with basic commands but I am learning them with consistent practice. I need to work on my confidence by being taken on frequent walks and shown lots of love and attention. I walk very well on a leash but focus on little critters on my walks so you might need to help me watch out for them. I need a warm house with people who like snuggles. Are you the human for me? Harley (4) 1.5 yr old female Dog Friendly Kid Friendly House trained Needs surgery for incontinence issues Spokane, WA Hello, my name is Harley! I'm a sweet girl and I get along great with other dogs and kids! My foster brother, Lucky (5-6 year old male boxer) and I love to play tug-of-war. I also love playing fetch!! I'm smart and pacifistic towards others. If you haven't noticed I'm a cutie, I have ginormous eyes and ears, making me the cutest boxer you've ever seen! I'm potty trained, but unfortunately I have urinary incontinence, which is being diagnosed this week. It sounds like I'm going to need surgery, and the fantastic folks at NWBR will be doing some fundraising for me and a couple other friends that also need surgery. I love being by my foster parents side. I also love playing with my foster parents 2.5 year old son. I'm looking for a loving home of active people who are willing to play with me and give me the attention I deserve. I will be your best friend!
