this blog is dead but melanie martinez was accused of raping someone last night and so i feel kinda obligated to make a post on it. my friend (i wont tag them bc idk if theyd be ok w that) had a breakdown over this, and i almost did as well. they made a few posts on it, saying its ok to be upset, to feel betrayed. however,,,,,, a few assholes decided to go "but what about the victim !1!1!2(_92!!-71?1910!!! i cant believe ur a heartless bastard who doesnt give a shit abt the victim smh how dare u be upset" and i just wanna say that we all understand that the victim is more important than us. however, this DOESN'T mean that we cant be sad. melanie has helped us through some tough times, and we feel betrayed. the victim is the most important person right now, yes. we aren't trying to make this about ourselves. we're just simply trying to take a moment to wrap our minds around the fact that someone we idolize did this.
ALSO @ the people who are saying shit like "shes always been horrible i cant believe that ur just now realizing it" or "i never liked her anyway die bitch rot in hell lol": please fuck off because some of us actually liked her and we're trying our best to keep it together
