I'm not your puppet

nathan was intrigued by the feeling of magic nearby so he started to follow him, ending up behind a person who was doing the magic. “I-I’m sorry. I was interested in the magic. I apologize really. I just miss seeing magic.”

Nathan nodded his head, hearing the other tripped he turned around. “I’m sorry am I walking too fast? We’ll walk at your pace.”

“Yes, exactly.” the brunette cheered as he looked at the other. “Hiccup? Okay, perfect. If you see anyone who looks like them, tell me and we’ll go ask them if they’re hiccup.”

“That should mean you guys are close, that is going to be helpful with finding them and them remembering you.” He grinned as he put his hands in his pockets. “What’s their name so we know who we are looking for?”

Nathan smiled as he looked at the other, “how long have you two known each other?”

Nathan nodded his head with a smile on his lips, “perfect.” he smiled as he started to walk, turning to make sure the other was followin him. 

Nathan couldn’t help but grin as he felt the other pat his hand, nodding his head he looked around them. “We will, shall we head off to the forest now?”

“Yes, time to relax and trust the connection and magic.” He grinned as he put his hand on the other. “We will find them.”

“I’m sure, with a strong connection anything is possible.” Nathan nodded as he looked towards the other, “you shouldn’t worry.”

“Well, I’m sure if you had such a strong connection as I am sensing I think he would.” He grinned towards the other as he nodded his head, he had always believed in those things and he knew nothing would make him not believe.

Nathan smiled as he hugged the male back, “it’s really no problem. I’m sure they know what to do.” He nodded his head as he heard their suggestion, “okay forest first. I mean who knows, maybe they’re looking for you?”

nathan stopped in his footsteps as he saw the familiar blonde, “apple?” he looked at her with the biggest smile. he never knew he would be so happy to see her, but he was getting lonely without his friends from back home. “no, it’s called cedargrove. it’s very different. there isn’t the same magic around us.”

Nathan bit down on his lesser lip as he looked towards her, “Maybe you need to show the town who’s really boss. Time to cause some trouble that is,” he let out a short chuckle as he shrugged his shoulders.

Nathan looked at them with an apologetic look, his head hung low as he listened to the other. “Y-you think we can fix it?” He looked at them hoping it would work, he didn’t like ruining things so he honestly felt gutted. “Yes, we try. I really hope it works.”

His eyes widened at the other’s comments on food and eating blood. “Y-you eat rats and have blood?” Nathan asked her softly as he played with the hem of his shirt. 

“You think people will really take it personally if I say something wrong?” he raised a brow as he looked at her, nervous he was going to say something off. 

Nathan laughed as he saw the other’s reaction, “Okay. I’m sorry, it won’t happen again I promise.” He nodded his head, taking a step back. “But I am impressed, that’s the first time I startled someone on purpose.”
