Zephyr: "Thrust me Xavier, it's a good plan!"

Xavier: "Zepy... dude... You're like brother to me... But are you sure it's... a good time to be a misfortune?"

He asked, pointing at the wooden bucket, that was in the jester's hands, ready to pour its contents out the window.

Zephyr: "Relaaaax~ What could possibly happen?"

And with that, the water poured out, hearing a gasp below the window. The princess stood there, soaking wet from head to toe, searching for who dared to pour water on her. Zephyr immediately hid away, so the princess wouldn't notice him.

Xavier: "See?! I told you!! This WAS a terrible idea!!!"

The knight whisper-yelled at his friend, the jester just continued to hide, trembling like a leaf.

Zephyr: "D-Do you think she saw me?"

Xavier leaned out the window, and a rock hit his forehead. He groaned in pain, rubbing the place the rock hit him.

Xavier: "Yeah, I think she did..."

Zephyr: "Damn... Then it's time for me to say goodbye, old pal... I'm going to be headless..."

The jester said and placed a hand on his chest dramatically, being too dramatic like always.

Xavier: "Dude, shut up... You won't be executed... hopefully...

Zephyr: "Hopefully...? Hopefully?! My beautiful princess is wet and not the way I wanted her to be!"

Xavier: "Bro, ew, stop it...

Zephyr: "Sorry, you're right, it was kinda weird..."

Soon the door slammed open, and standing there was the princess with an annoyed expression, while the water dripped down on her wet hair.

Amelia: "Can someone explain how I got wet, without rain, while I was on my way to the archery field?"

She was furious, the 2 boys could see the storm in her eyes, while she looked at their eyes.

Zephyr: "Princess, my dear, I swear it was an accident..."

Amelia just stood there, looking at her jester dead in the eyes. She walked to him, slowly like a predator scouting its prey. Zephyr just stood there like a tree, not daring to make a run for it. The princess grabbed his collar, starting to pull him out of the room, while Zephyr tried to get out of her grip.

Zephyr: "Xavier!!!! Heeeelp meeeeeee!"

Xavier: "It was nice to meet you, Zepy... Your memory will always continue to live in my memories..."

Zephyr: "You motherfu-"

A bit about the characters 😌

The princess, Amelia : She's a strong woman, with a equally strong mind. She's not so girly, not interested in luxury or how pretty is she. She's enjoying riding, she has her own horse named Apple pie (she named him that when she was young). She also enjoying archery and swordsmanship. She's calm, collected, responsible, but she has a soft or sometimes a mischievous side, thanks to her beloved jester, and if you witness it, you're a lucky one, because it's rarer than a white raven. She has a soft spot for the jester, and loves him with all her heart.

The Jester, Zephyr : The mischievous and sarcastic jester of the count is a different story... He's a two legged misfortune, causing trouble wherever he goes. Magically, everyone still care and loved him. His jokes are funny and sometimes could be rude, but if he notices that the joke hurts feelings, he make sure you will be holding your stomach because of the lot of laugh. Or just bake you a cake... Yeah, he's a good baker too. When he has time, he helps in the kitchen. He's soft and kind, but sometimes, he act and speak before he thinks, that usually make him seem like he hates his job and people, but in reality, get wouldn't trade his life with anyone, and he's the most sweetest guy in the whole court. His majesty, the king has a deep trust in him, trusting him to keep an eye on Amelia when he can't.

The head maid, Mary : She's a sweet and caring old lady, helping where she can. She's some kind of mother figure to the jester, since she don't have her own child, and Zephyr doesn't know who his mother is. She's a helper to the jester and the princess. She bakes and cooks the best meals. She's very wise, and has a sharp mind. She serves the Royal family for long, long years now, just like her husband, Caspian, who is a well known capitan of the knights in the court. So Zephyr is kind of a son to them. Mary is also a very good listener, she could listen for hours and still wouldn't be tired of listening, but Caspian is her opposite.

The knight, Xavier : The so respected and fearless hero of the kingdom. Some people say, he slathered a dragon with his blade, and took it's head as a trophy. He's mysterious, loyal to the kingdom, and the "babysitter" for the princess... Yes, sometimes he hates his job, but his loyalty is deeper for his majesty than anything. He's kinda arrogant sometimes, loving showing off in front of others, he's a peacock who truly believes that he's the noble and court ladies favorite. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but a loyal and pretty strong knight. He's a womanizer, who loves courting women, but not a bastard. He never lies, always says what he wants, and if he don't like something. He's actually good friends with Zephyr.

The king and the queen : Amelia's parents, the wise and respected Royal couple. The kingdom loves them, respect them, and both the king and the queen loves their kingdom as well. They care and love their only child, their sweet daughter, even if they wanted a prince, they still love Amelia and consider her as a blessing. The king is wise and clever, always calm and collected. He doesn't like arguments, very conflict avoidant, He always tries to settle all disagreements with compromises so that there is peace in the kingdom. The queen is the opposite. The queen is a fierce and stubborn woman, always wants to settle things with violence. At least when she was younger. Since she's the queen, she's more calmer and not so reckless like she was years before Amelia was born.

Relationships:

Amelia and Zephyr : Two inexperienced young adults, but not a couple (at least not yet). Both of them care about the other, and flirt with each other, sometimes even steal kisses from the other. Like: forehead kisses, cheek kisses, Zephyr even pecked Amelia's lips once.

Amelia and Xavier : They are like siblings. Xavier, the knight, sees her as a little sister, and same with Amelia. She sees him like a big brother.

Zephyr and Xavier : Besties. They two boys are best friends, always judging others, and act like they are not doing anything bad.

Zephyr, Mary and Caspian : As I said, they are like family. Son, mother, and father. They're not calling each other that, but all of them knows how they see the other. Zephyr sees them as his parents, and they see Zephyr as their son, since they couldn't have their own child.

They're not the same, I didn't say that, but they have some similarities in looks, even if not that much, but they still do. But their personalities are different.

I apologize if I'm wrong, I just found this observation of mine interesting and wanted to see who agrees with me. 🤣
