She's breathing hard, almost yelling now, when Gojo takes off his blindfold. It's startling to see, without the ridiculous thing, that he looks somehow both older and younger at the same time; white hair falling haphazardly across his eyes like a bird’s nest. His gaze is solemn. Grave, in a way she's never seen before, as if he's signing her death warrant.

As if this is the beginning of an end.

Fushiguro's good at hiding things, much like he's good at disappearing into the inky shadows. Yuuji likes to think he knows how to read him, but coupled with too many incidents recently, it makes him wonder what else he could've possibly missed.
