Game of Thrones Season 4 episode 9 will air Sunday June 8th Only on HBO

Synopsis: Jon Snow and the Knights Watch face their biggest challenge to the Wall yet.

On Sept. 16, the studio is offering the film and its sequel in a special Blu-ray set.  This will also mark the debut of the sequel, Ghostbusters II, on Blu-ray. The two-disc anniversary edition Blu-ray digibook, including both films and a limited edition gift set that features an exclusive collectible Slimer figurine.

“Ghostbusters is still one of our studio’s most beloved franchises,” said Rory Bruer, Sony’s president of worldwide distribution. “I was lucky enough to work on the release of the film on its first run, so it’s a real thrill for me to see that it’s still connecting with audiences everywhere. On the big screen or in home entertainment, this is a great movie to experience again and again.”

An new website relfecting the anniversary special, has been launched this week. You can buy the dvd’s and other merchandise for the film as well as check out the listings for the traveling art show where you can see some of your favorite relics from the films!

So last week, we found out that Tyrion’s champion would be none other then Prince Oberyn Martell, played by Pedro Pascal. You could almost feel the crowd go wild when this was revealed to us. Tyrion’s out look became much more clear, and some pep was returned to his step. Episode 2 of Gang Related titled “Sangre Por Sangre,” starts right where the pilot left off. Lopez had just left the scene of Carlos Acosta’s Murder and got rid of all the evidence like a good crooked cop. Now Lopez phones are ringing off the hook, one from Chapel and the other from Javier. It was almost like a branch story choice, do you answer the bad guys call or the good guys call first? It really allowed Vuers to get the feel for Lopez’ character and feel the conflict he must have gone through.

Fast forward into the episode and GTF is serving a high risk raid in the hood of some of the LA Lords. When out of no where this little old lady pops out of her door and alerts the entire freaking neighborhood to the “One Time” being there. Blowing GTF’s cover, residence start throwing grease and filth out the windows trying to deter the police from reaching the Lord bangers. While it was entertaining to watch the cops scramble and still serve their arrest warrants.

Now back to that phone call choice that Lopez had to make, he picked the good guys, he answered Chapel’s call, to find out Carlos lived through the shooting, and was in the ER in surgery clinging for his life. You could see all the color leave Lopez’ face, and then tell Chapel he would be right there. After a deep swallow, the scene cut to the retaliation shooting of 6 dead Lords, and 2 or 3 dead Acostas.

Now Carlos is out of surgery and gets the news about his condition. The condition of severe spinal cord damage and that he may never walk again. I have to say that I enjoyed watching Carlos throw a hissy fit, yelling at his legs and screaming like a toddler. (Kind of reminds me of Just’ desserts)

Meanwhile, the bangers that were arrested earlier that  day are taken outside for some Yard time.. No sooner than the doors close, the guard says some things in spanish, and the inmates get jumped, shived and probably defiled. Hence the Blood for Blood title.

Father Gabriel has been spotted!

Here’s the latest Walking Dead scoop! According to pictures and info from Thespoilingdeadfans.com -Seth Gilliam is on set and doing scene’s as Father Gabriel for Season 5 of The Walking Dead!

Here are the first pictures from the location in Griffin, Atlanta.

You can see him standing next to ‘Sasha’ next to the umbrella.

What could this mean for Beth? If memory serves, Father Gabriel wasn’t…

What we were most concerned about though, was the possible sighting of Emily Kenny, who plays Beth Greene.

“A white van just pulled up to the house in Griffin. The van pulled right up to the steps of the house. Two security guards stepped out and a blonde woman in dirty looking clothes exited the van and was rushed inside. We are trying to confirm if it’s her or not. More as we get it,” reveals The Spoiling Dead Fans.

While it isn’t 100% certain that the woman exiting said van was in fact Emily, it’s a good speculation that Beth is alive and that we will see her again as soon as the new season kicks off.

Pictures from the sites members are further setting the scene and the rumors about Beth. Here we can see an illuminated church steeple. Could this be the entrance of Father Gabriel? Is Beth with him?

Another possible detail is a car sitting in the grass across from a house that is being used by the film crew. Is this the one we saw Daryl chasing after when he found Beth had been taken?

Maybe not so much. But could this car have something to do with Beth? Or perhaps it’s a “getaway” car that was used by Rick and co when they fled Terminus?

Here is another picture from one of the sets. This one is of a house with a metal door with a blood splatter above it. Looks to me like someone has been hiding out there!

Maybe this all has nothing to do with Beth, except for possibly the church? I’m pretty sure we’ll find her with Father Gabriel. My thinking is that this car was driven by Rick, used as an escape vehicle to get away from Terminus. I guess just like Michonne found Rick and Carl hiding in that house, the gang could wind up finding Beth the same way. It could happen, right?

Gang Related starts with an origin clip from 98′ then to a present day Los Angeles as Ryan being undercover officer in a HIGH SPEED action Armored car robbery- The Los Angeles Lords are trying to get a Drug Deal with some potent cocaine which would give them power over the drug game.

In the first five minutes Carlos(Javier Acosta’s son) kills Ryan Lopez’ partner, and it ties Ryan’s past and shows how all grown up and gangster Carlos has become. Shortly after we get to see the relationship that Ryan has with Javier Acosta, and that he has done everything for the family. Which has included watching out for Javier’s cartel, informing the family of what the task force knows, and keeping secrets.

Gang Related has an interesting perspective of story design, considering the lead officer is not only the protagonist, but also a key antagonist. The Pilot does a great job introducing the key characters, and their relationships with each other. Revealing the story about Ryan and the Acosta family and his day to day struggle, should be a great few episodes. But I don’t see Ryan sticking with Javier for much longer, especially after Carlos killed his partner..just out of spite.

Cassius Green(RZA) and Ryan chase down a contact, and use his affliction to get information on the fish scale deal. Meanwhile Tae Kim(SUNG KANG from Fast and the Furious Series) and his partner Veronica “Vee” Dotsen(INBAR LAVI) meet up with the witness, and while normal cops would approach and make idle threats, “Vee” gets the witness alone and blasts him with seduction and a Stun Gun..(Shocking Tactics) but got the shooters name.

Another stand out fact about Gang Related, is instead of glorifying the gang life, this series is more about the police commradery, and day to day operations. At the end of the episode IA and the DA have a meeting in the dark and the Internal affairs agents reveals a shocking discovery about the shooting of Officer Tanner. Another event in the episode to show that Ryan isnt going to stay in Javier’s pocket is at the end he send a rival gang after Carlos outside of a bar.

All in all while Gang Related was action packed, and full of secrets and betrayal, Gang Related was very predictable, and did not make a good first impression. However I know of quite a few pilots that were bombs, but made up for it in their next few epsiodes.

We started off with Dean having slashed Gadreel across the chest with the 1st blade. Having seen Dean go into psycho killer mode, Sam and Cas had to hold him back from finishing the job as Gadreel lay on the floor, clinging to life. Sam decided it was best to detain Dean and lock him up for his own good. When Cas and Sam returned to where they left Gadreel, the found he had vanished. As Sam and Cas went to look for Gadreel, Dean took it upon himself to summon Crowley in attempt to be set free.

When Cas and Sam found Gadreel, Cas healed him of the wound.They devised a plan to get back into heaven in order to stop Metatron, who, moments earlier, put out a live broadcast on Angel Radio, detailing the new course of action he was about to bring upon the world. Gadreel told Cas where the portal to Heaven was located. Upon arrival, Gadreel asked Cas how they were going to get in, at which point, Cas made a Star Wars reference back to when Han Solo and Chewbacca had to infiltrate the detention block in order save Princess Leia.

So, we see Gadreel approaching the portal with Castiel (in handcuffs) as he explains that he’s captured him and needs to take him to Metatron. When they make their entrance, they are told to wait in Metatrons office, only to find out there was a trap set and they both became locked in jail cells.

Dean sets off with Crowley as he tries to find Metatron himself. After seeing the video of Metatron performing one of his “miracles” on a woman who was struck by a vehicle, he makes his way to find him. Because of the “Mark of Cain”, Dean has overwhelming feelings that he must kill. One fear is that he will kill Sam when they meet back up.

Sam is waiting for Dean outside the home of the woman who was “saved” only to be told that she isn’t there. So the brothers bid Crowley farewell.. okay.. so that didn’t happen. They gave him ‘the look’ and he knew it was time to exit, stage left.

Metatron was trying to pull off his own version of Jesus, with the healing miracles and bringing a woman back to life, all for the purpose of gaining trust amongst the masses.

Of course we all know this wasn’t going to go very far. Dean soon found him after he knocked Sam unconscious and left him on the side of the road. Dean found Metatron “praying for everyone’s sins” in an abandoned warehouse. (Seems like a good place to pray, right?) After mincing words, Metatron gave a powerful speech about how he cares more for humanity than God ever did. So in essence he was saying that all of what he’s been doing is for the better of the human race as well as to lead the Angels to victory. Load of crap? Yep, just a sort of “woe is me” tale in an attempt to get Dean off his case. We all know this has never been about curing the earth of its sick or ensuring peace among men. ( This is not “Good will toward men. This is a reign of power; a monstrosity who is wreaking havoc with a typewriter! At this point, Crowley looks like a saint by comparison!)

When Metatrons bargaining tools failed, he agreed to fight Dean.

This is where the shit hit the fan, both for Dean and for Metatron.

Dean went straight into it, striking Metatron first. Metatron proceeded to throw Dean around, bouncing him off a cement wall a couple of times and punching him in the face several times over. Finally, Dean came to rest with his back to the wall. Metatron moved in and stabbed Dean in the chest.

Everything around me went silent. I watched on in shock as Sammy rushed into the warehouse just in time to see what Metatron had done. I felt like someone took the air out of my lungs. Dean has been in bad shape before but never anything quite like this! There was no way for Castiel to get to him either!

Gadreel took it upon himself to help Cas get out of the cell the only way he knew he could–by killing himself. As their captor watched, she knew what was about to happen. Gadreel took out his blade and took his own life which blew the walls of the cell to pieces and Cas was set free. Knowing that he had to get back into Metatrons office in order to find the tablet and destroy it, Castiel didn’t waste any time getting out of there.

As Sam moved to shoot Metatron, he disappeared. Metatron was given the heads up that Cas was in his office searching for the tablet.

But oh was Castiel was prepared for his arrival! After finally locating the tablet from under Metatrons typewriter, Cas smashed it. He then sat down to wait for Metatron to arrive.

When Metatron showed up, he saw that the tablet was in a thousand pieces on the floor. He was, shall we say, a little put out by his finding.  He accused Castiel of turning his back on his fellow angels, saying that Cas has always been leading everyone to believe that he is fighting for Heaven but only for the safety of the Winchesters. Then he drops the bomb on Cas telling him that Dean is now dead and he handcuffs Castiel to the chair.

In the classic style of all the great films to date, the “evil dooer” always reveals his plot just before his unforeseen demise. Metatron goes on a rant about how all of the Angels are sheep and they will follow him and do as he says. What he doesnt know is that he has been put on blast via his own Angel Radio interceptor. I guess Cas decided, ‘Oh, well, since he likes to talk on the radio, lets boost his ratings!’

“You never learned how to tell a good story.”, Metatron says as he prepares to plunge his dagger into Castiels chest. Castiel looks at him and says, “No. But you did!”, as he turns around to reveal that he has broadcasted Metatrons lovely speech all over Angel Radio.

Classic!

So now we are back to Sam and Dean. Things don’t look good for Dean as Sammy helps him to his feet to get him to safety. Dean stops him momentarily to tell Sam, “I’m proud of us.”. Dean then slips into unconsciousness.

It’s really hard to see the boys suffer! It’s like, one part of you feels like, “No! This isn’t the end! Dean can’t die because Cas will save him!” The other part of you is still in shock because you don’t know if this is the end and you worry because you don’t know if there is time to save him.

Enter Crowley.

Sam goes to summon Crowley to help Dean. What Sam doesnt know is that Crowley already knows whats going on and is readily at Deans side. He tells a seemingly dead Dean, that he already saw this coming. He also says that he never lied to Dean, only withheld certain truths about the Mark of Cain from him. He places the 1st blade in Deans cold hand and tells him, “Let’s go howl at that moon”.

I’m not 100% sure what he just did to Dean. I mean, is the Mark of Cain so powerful, that it would hold Dean captive, even in death? Is that what Crowley was saying to Dean? You saw Deans eyes in that last second of the show … He know has the blackest eyes, eyes of a demon. Did Crowley just turn Dean into a demon or is this the Mark of Cain taking over?

We have already been ensured that Season 10 will happen. With a nail biting cliffhanger like this, how could it not? This episode was very well written and I believe that everyone gave it there all to make this finale. The acting was superb! This was more like an award winning episode! Like, I wanted to give them all a standing ovation as the credits rolled. They really know how to reach into your chest, pull your heart strings and use them to tie you down so you can’t escape the up coming season. I mean.. I dont even know how Im going to sleep tonight knowing that Deans life is still hanging in the balance!

What did you think of the finale? I think this means that its possible season 10 could be the last one yet as they are almost back full circle with Crowley. You know Sam will not stand for this. He will find some way to get Dean back or he will find a way for his soul to get to Heaven. Either way, Crowley is about to find out what Hell is really like.
