As a gay man who absolutely lives loves breathes Nu: Carnival I’m lowkey very uncomfortable with how many women/fem-aligned people are in the fandom. I kinda just wanted it to be a safe-space for non-fem/mainly male-aligned folks. I know BL content tends to be aimed at young women and I know not all of them are fetishts (some of yall definitely are.) abut still. Im just very uncomfortable with fujo culture in general, and everytime a someone who is fem interacts with my nucani content my guts turn upside down.

For someone who is sickly. neglects eating and proper resting, and is holed up in his research most of the time, I think Rei is too buffed up. He should be a twink or at least scrawny. I understand he has to do self defense and hunt his own food in the forest or something but plsplspls give me my frail oldman Rei. Eiden and co can fatten him up throughout the story but where did all that upper body muscle and fat asscheeks come from!!!!

regarding mtf headcanons for the more feminine guys being misogynistic. obviously men are only allowed to transition when they perfectly fit into masculinity in every way and anything else is problematic. this is reflective of real life.

the way anons are going on about it makes it sound like there's a massive epidemic of people headcanoning nuca characters as transfem, and sincerely, where the fuck are you all seeing this? because all I'm seeing is maybe four or five people with sincere transfem headcanons (beyond performative posturing or reblogging a post with "this makes my dick hard"), and it would be deeply pathetic to be this pissed off about four or five people out of thousands having transfem headcanons. it is also deeply pathetic to be so fixated on transfem headcanons as though GNC male characters aren't far more frequently headcanoned as transmasc under the stereotype that trans men are always GNC and gender conforming men can't be transmasc. where's the rage for transmasc Edmond or Olivine headcanons? where's the rage for the lack of transmasc Quincy or Dante headcanons? why is it only transfem headcanons that piss you off so much? or, reading between the lines of these anons - do you just want all trans headcanons gone? because I'm noticing that the first ask names Aster as a character who gets "forcibly transed" when I have never in my life seen someone suggest transfem Aster, only transmasc. I'm also noticing that the third ask anon who claims to be a different person has the same typing patterns as the original sender.

I roll my eyes every time someone talks about terrible mischaraterization. half the time what people mean is they'll throw a tantrum at you for not thinking kuya is a harmless soft dream boyfriend when half the appeal of kuyaei is that it's a 50/50 shot of whether this time eiden will be sobbing while he begs kuya to stop. or they'll throw a tantrum at you for considering edmond's rooms dubcon when half the appeal is that he loudly and repeatedly says no. or they'll throw a tantrum at you for calling olivine catholic because having an interpretation they don't agree with is the same thing as gaslighting and harassing them. half the time terrible mischaraterization = not reading the characters in the shallowest most morally pure way possible

it drives me mad that two top 3ps aren't considered double tops, but two bottom 3ps and bottom SRs are considered double bottoms
