Putting this here as I get pretty sentimental, showcasing both the two idiots I've been campaigning for since I first came across this tournament :3 12 propaganda posts for natsume, 13 for tsumugi.

I put in a considerable amount of effort in my propaganda but at the end of the day, YOUR vote still is the deciding factor. Even if you're one person, your one vote can still amount to alot /gen

Natsume lost round 3 but in round 2 against mayoi, still holds the poll with the most amount of total votes, it was a sliver of a win !

Tsumugi won not only against Izumi, but also Wataru ?! Who would've thought ?! We've got an underdog possibly ?.? And now he's going up to the Quarterfinals... personally it was a great challenge, I hope you can all look forward to what sort of propaganda I'll cook up next !

Wataru is a performative freak, he canonically had a pretty normal life that Tomoya was surprised seeing him be nonchalant in public. WataruPs feel free to correct me on any falsehoods but given how Wataru's whole character is distinguished to be a "mask", I think it's reasonable to assume that he only adopts an eccentric personality for the pizzazz.

HOWEVER I will say that his aptitude in carrying out such a role with no hitch is impressive, if not, makes him more eccentric, that said, that's not solid enough for me to deem him as a freak. He even mentions that his own life has nothing of note and barely mentions it, it doesn't seem implied that he had a troubled family life.

TSUMUGI however, is truly Just Like That. His life was so rocky from the beginning that his view of affection is skewed. He seems normal at times, like how dismayed he was when Eichi didn't share the same view about their friendship in exfine— but then go over about how he loves his (really concerning) mother and that he can never repay the debt he owes to his parents.

There is a LOT to extrapolate from Tsumugi, and even moreso, that fact that he masks it so beautifully that it just seems "normal." He makes you think there's nothing wrong with his mind, that he's not worth to worry about, whike casually saying the most self-deprecating and self-sacrificing stuff there is. It was much more apparent during his 2nd year but thankfully he has learned to have healthier habits as time went on. But that doesn't mean those traits still dont bleed out from time to time yknow ?
