too good, too bad

you're in a movie? and no one told me? that feels like a sin. but the reunion at the jonas brothers show has me gagged! like girl, i'm your guys biggest fan. a little warning would've been nice. my heart gave out for a minute and i don't think it's regained it's full function yet. you haven't lost it, that's for sure! the cruise is going to be amazing and i'm gonna find you to force you to spend at least a little time with me. we can relax in the sun together. when it comes to relaxation, i love blocking out the noise, having on the music i love and usually doing some form of selfcare. that can range from skincare to just laying down and resting my eyes. you gotta take care if you sometimes, you know?

you should have been the first on my list to tell, i'm so sorry princess. the surprise just makes it so much more fun to watch everyone's reactions. i just keep dropping all these surprises on you, i have to make it up to you soon. you can steal me away as much as you want on the cruise. i can't wait until then so we can get our own relaxation time in.self care is so important, i'm glad that you make it your chill time. are you really resting your eyes when you lay down or are you full on napping? i think there might be a little difference between the two.

I know how that feels, as I've been pretty overwhelmed with happiness too, but it's mostly because football season has started, and it's easy to be happy when it's that time of year! I know I'm looking forward to the cruise myself, though; even if the season just started, a little relaxation never hurt anyone. I'll be by the pool when I can be, that's for sure. And I love to read when I'm relaxing, so that's what you'll probably see me doing when I'm by the pool on the ship. A drink in one hand and a book in the other. What about you?

doesn't matter the reason, it's great that you're feeling the same. it's the best to be stuck in that happiness. oooh how could i forget that it is that time of year. you can get that relaxation in before the season really gets heated, gotta look at it that way! i'm going to be spending my time in the water. whether that be in the pool or in the ocean i'll be turning into a fish and spending as much time there as possible. guess that means i might see you around on the ship!

the way i'm still screaming about that fifth harmony reunion. someone needs to give the jonas brothers a kiss for making it happen. doesn't the cruise look insane? i didn't even know they could fit that much stuff on a boat. wild. easy answer to that question - hot bath with some music playing & candles lit. feels like you're literally washing the woes of the day away.

i wish you could have been there you could have screamed in person. maybe if you manifest a tour with the girls it'll come true. i wonder how many people try to stay on cruise ships after they've been on because of how much there is to do. they wouldn't have to go anywhere else since it's all there on the boat. it definitely looks fun, i can't wait to get on and see it all in person. do you have bubbles going for that hot bath? i know everyone relaxes different but that seems like it's missing.

Congratulations on the first movie release and of course the amazing reunion last week in Texas with the girls! I am sad I only got to see it via video, I would have loved to be there in person. Maybe next time. Fingers crossed. Actually one of my favorite things to do is reading and a good book! Of course I love a good massage and facial also. I am just excited to be by the pool and get some needed sun. Do you have any fun plans while we are on the ship?

all of it happening so close together makes it feel so amazing too, like it's an added bonus. next time we're together you'll be one of the first ones i tell so you don't miss out! you might have to sweet talk the other girls too. oh a facial does sound super chill. the spa might be calling me. thanks for reminding me about that! no set it stone plans yet, i'm going to see where the waters take me! i'm sure you have something more interesting planned for the cruise though.

That honestly makes me so happy to hear, you deserve all of that joy. Having your first movie out in theaters must feel surreal, like all that work suddenly becoming real for everyone to see. I loved that full-circle moment with the girls! Mm, I love just disappearing with a book, or putting on music and letting myself switch off completely. Sometimes it's going for a walk somewhere green, just to feel like I'm out of my own head for a bit. And then there are those rare days where I do absolutely nothing, like, full-on lazy mode, blanket, tea, staring at the ceiling, and that's its own kind of reset. I think the best relaxation always comes when you give yourself permission to actually stop without guilt, which is so much harder than it sounds. So I'm trying to get better at it! On the cruise, though? I'm pretty sure my version of relaxation will be stretched out in the sun until I turn into a lizard.

it's definitely a different type of accomplishment from music too. that and it's just nice knowing that it was something that i was able to do successfully. it's always a trip with my girls though no matter how long it's been. if you like taking walks to relax, you might like hikes. just start on some smaller trails and i think you'll love it. you're right, you have to let yourself relax before you can actually let yourself let go. i think it comes easier with time, that and your body will beg for the rest if you push yourself too much. i like the way you think. soak up the sun, work on your tan, and just listening to the waves crashing is so peaceful and relaxing all on it's own. did you have plans for the cruise besides turning into a lizard?
