It was an honor to work with Jj, he keeps inspiring me every day, without him I wouldn't gather might to work on anything for this beautiful fandom. As I was finalizing this piece, I kept thinking about this video. Somehow this is exactly what I was thinking about, when drawing this: ugly messy female rage. Kali does many critically important things in Janes story. One of the being that she fights for the freedom to be furious, to be enraged. Sadly, her own creators grew too weak to handle her. Thank you for showing me this beautiful character and for being so very sttentive and forgiving to me as I was discovering my own love for dear Kali. Please, get furious, get wild, show your anger even if you think it might make you ugly. Let yourself be free.

I want Victor and I to have a staring match that is actually the two of us devoting much needed time to studying each other's eyes. Not just the actual ball in the socket, but also the structure of the socket, the skin, it's texture, markings and scars and cracks. Maybe hear his voice, soft and low, as he makes quiet remarks about the beauty mark just under my eyelid. Or perhaps him calculating the exact amount of sleep I have not had, due to the very bloodshot sclera I sport. Idk man, it's 4am, my sleep is shit and I want fun intimacy with a greasy snake. The fact that Victor invested time to assemble the whole "oh hi Grace" scene design will forever make him the most adorable re villain. He lit the fireplace (by the way good luck lighting it after the whole building was burnt down and abandoned for years if not decades, so he probably had to do some cleaning as well). And just imagine him standing in that room (while Grace is fighting for her life outside) with a portable gramophone in his hands like "Ok, how do I place this thing to look as menacing, uncanny, and intelligent as I could..."
