even though the camp had proven to be quite homey now, kalena was still missing her sisters. as long as kaipo had her he didn’t really miss anyone, but he did miss the warmth of hawaii. for an extremely brief visit. she didn’t want to close up shop either, so for just a day she had a nymph take over and they were off. after arriving to their forest in hawaii, she was happy to see that things had changed somewhat. the place didn’t seem to be in as much chaos as it was before which was good, but then she heard it.

three skeletons were roaming around the area after they were alerted to a new presence in the forest. elika’s fleet was charging right behind them and behind the harpies was the blue-purple leader. a surprised smile spread across her features as she saw what was new in the forest, pushing aside her fleet and minions. “don’t go too far, but give us some time.” eyebrows pushed up as she closed most of the space in between them. “i was beginning to think it was going to take you a whole year to come back.” she flew up to show kaipo some love first, running her hand over her head and giving him a hug. then, she landed back on the ground to hug kalena.

during their embrace, ailani was close in the trees overlooking everything. she couldn’t dream getting too close to the dead like elika was so used to doing, but her followers were overlooking the area to see if they spotted anything pretty. she could have used a new necklace. yet when her eyes scanned, she spotted elika approaching what looked to be kalena and kaipo. “girls, you’re going to have to continue without me. i have a sister to scold.” she was quick to fly down and bring her arms around them as they were hugging. kaipo could get his attention later.

after the three sisters were finally reunited, kalena pulled away from the hug and nodded slightly. “i know, i know! you just don’t know how much those boys need help.” she chuckled softly before she started to fly away, motioning for the other thee to go into the cave with her. after they were away from everyone, so kalena wouldn’t miss home to much, she turned to the three of them again and smiled.

“personally i don’t know why you went with them. sure they broke our corruption or whatever, but it’s not like you’re a glorified babysitter.“ elika scoffed slightly as she set some of her weapons down, still having plenty to take care of them if push came to shove. ailani then butted in, looking over at the green harpy. “do they at least have pretty items? you know how i love me some good jewelry!“ kalena nodded slightly. “actually, there’s this witch that enchants beautiful jewelry, a gryphon that hands some out of his feathers or talon, and a couple of demigods that use the ink to draw. ari loves the cloak, tristan apparently wears a lot of jewelry, and there’s this new one named ignacio that uses my ink to make some.“
