———–    IT   WAS   AS   IF   HIS   CHEST   BECAME   TIGHT,   she     managed   to   squeeze   the   life   out   of   him   at   first   glance;   but   at   what   cost ?   her   aura,   intoxicating   to   share   the   room   let   alone   stand   too   close   to   this  …  [woman] ?  —–  NO,   she   was   so   much   more   than   a   mere   woman.   she   was   a   goddess,   a   queen   even,   the   almighty   and   she   sent   his   mind   in   a   whirl;   a   haze   of   uncertainty   yet   deep   down   within   him   HE   KNEW   what   she   was.   who   she   had   been.   he   could   feel   it.   thick   with   wonder   and   heavy   minded,   his   pale   hues   never   left   her   being.   every   step,   every   breath,   he    was    enamored   yet   vigilant   in   the   sense   of   not   letting   his   guard   down   too   much   in   face   of   a   stranger.   every   so   often   he   found   her   eyeing   him,   his   body   tensing   with   curiosity.   often   times   his   gaze   mimicked   the   thought   of   devouring   her,   HE   HAD   BEEN   THAT   HUNGRY   TO   GET   HER   ALONE.   just   the   two   of   them.   it   was   almost   as   if   the   earth   had   shifted   right   then   and   there  and  in   a  way   it   had … 

his   mind   was   able   to   rest   at   ease   during   the   black  mass   but   still   her   presence   lingered   in   the   back   of   his   mind,   his   own   voice;   repeating   her   name   over   and   over   again   like   a   twisted   mantra   of   self - obsessed   behavior.   ‘   nisa   ‘   he   would   muse   quietly   to   himself.   what   was   it   that   was   making   him   this   way ?   of   course,   beside   the   obvious.   she   was   captivating,   alluring   and   found   a   way   to   enchant   him   by   just   being   …  there.   had   this   been   her   goal   all   along ?   only   just   met,   known   her   name   and   already   he   was   addicted.

the   room   began   to   disperse   of   all   who   attended   and   it   was   only   the   three   of   them.   heavy   smoke   lingered   in   the   air   of   his   sophisticated   abode   of   elegant   attire.   chandelier’s   hung   from   the   vaulted   ceilings,   paintings   covered   the   walls   and   gold   laced   paint   clad   the   walls.   red   and   gold   and   black.   his   palette   of   choice   yet   eyes   did   not   hesitate   to   find   home   upon   her    yet   again   from   across   from   the   room,   his   hands   carefully   pouring   himself   a   glass   of   whiskey   over   three   ice   cubes   in   a   spotless   crystallized   glass,   unbeknownst   to   her,   or   so   he   thought,   was   being   coy   in   regards   to   his  carefully   planted   gaze.

tall   slender   body   yet   fit   in   physique   swooped   lightly   through   the   opened   double   doors   that   led   to   one   of   his  many    balconies    that   overlooked   rome   in   all   it’s   dark  , hidden,   beauty.   the   night   sky   in   particular,   moon   illuminating   a   silver   glow,   had   made   for   a   perfect    beguile  —-   yet   he   had   once   again   found   himself   enthralled   by   her,    by    nisa

presenting   himself   with   glass   in   hand,   he   pressed   it   up   to   his   lips   for   a   small   sip,   corners   of   his   mouth   arching   up   into   a   sly   smirk   to   entertain   her   remark    ❝   perhaps   i   was   only   coming   out   here   to   pay   my   respects   to   the   beautiful  rome,   i   often   do   that.    ❞   sarcastic   in   tone,   a   step   forth   was   taken   and   pale   ice   blue    irises   bore   into   her   much   darker   pair.   ❝   thank   you   for   joining   us,   i’m   pleased   with   your   approval,   it’s   important.   ❞    he   was   quiet   for   only   a   brief   moment   to   take   another ,  more  ,   generous   sip    ❝    you   have   to   excuse   them   ….   we   are   all   just   so  ….. CURIOUS    ❞

TENEBROUS    GAZE    CAST    UPON    HIS    ;    minxful    hues   coruscate   midst    depth's    obscurity.    his   are    garnished    colors    of    flaming    azures    and    calcine    ashes   ,    glistening    hot   halcyon   through   an   obsidian    astral   expanse   ;   brighter   than   the   moon   and   the   stars'   brilliancies   decorated   skyward ,   but   dimmed   by   boundless   distance    ,    he    becomes    evermore   perplexing.    atmosphere    grows    leaden     and    for   a    breath   ,   time    suspends    betwixt.   SHE    IS    IMPRISONED    ,    captivated    ,    a    hermetic    fallen    angel    sculpted   into   marble   stone    ,    surface    nighly    cracked    by    antediluvian    fate’s    rumbling    vibrations    coming    infused.    consciousness    shifts   for   what   feels   like   the   hundredth    time    within    the    evening.    yet,   however   staggering    their   coalesce   ,    divine    femininity   remains    impressively   composed.

❝    there   is   curiosity   and   there   is   inquisition.    ❞        tobacco's   effluvium    rolls    gentle    ,    ghostly    ,    waves   through   softly   parted   ,   crimson    lips   ,    mordant   simper     garnishing    clever    edges.     ❝   they    are    harmless    ,   seeking    gossiper’s    material    ,    but   you     . . .    you    seek    answers   to   questions    they   did    not    dare    ask.    i    can    see    it     in    your    eyes    ,    sense    it.    sergio’s    told    you    much    about    me   ,   i'm    sure    ,    BUT    NOT    ENOUGH    TO    SATISFY   THE    ACHING    HUNGER.    ❞         he    knows    only    what    she    desires.    tongue’s    tip    nipped    betwixt    sugarcane    teeth.    his    played    coyness    can    not    save    him    from    her    perception.     any    omniscient    fortifications    may    keep    her    mostly    at    bay   ,    for   now    ,    but    he    should    not    underestimate    her    ,    for    she    is    as    MIGHTY    as    him.
