I made an adjustment since I realized the MATK was using the wrong formula
Me, imagining speedrun strats to a game that doesn't even exist:
If it were action-based battle rather than the turn-based and you're one of those no-hit Unknown solo challenge runners:
No stats, no name, no editing default person; run immediately to Gaius and taunt and attack him and force him to kill you
Restart in NG+, do fancy RNG manipulation to get the items you need (your preferred weapon, the Axe, specific Gifts), use the Gifts on Zephyr to get him to join your team (though right now I have him as a group so eh maybe it works on turn-based too; honestly I just need to give each Link character their own Affinity), run to Driselle and use Zephyr to rescue her/grabbing the necessary things while you're there, head into the forest, fight Milla, recruit her (maybe need to develop more specifics for that?), use her to get Jude's help, then take everybody to run into the cave, dropping everyone off at each battle to avoid the fights and get to the end and beat the final boss yourself

Below I have the charts of the different in-battle stats/lvl based on how many points you put into each character stat. (HP, PATK, PDEF are based on PHYS; TP, MATK, MDEF are based on MAG.)
"0" assumes essentially puny weakling. "1" is closer to what is the lowest stat across the Xillia party (e.g. Elize has the lowest base PATK) "2" is approximately average "3" is slightly above average "4" is pretty decent "5" is close to what is the highest stat across the Xillia party (e.g. Alvin has the highest base HP)

Search System
The Search System is the process by which Items are located. Items are not found by way of "treasure chests" but rather by spending in-game time searching the town for usable Items. The chance of finding a specific item depends on the Player Character's Perception stat, that item's weighted chance, and how many times items of any kind have been found. The number of items found depends on the percent chance of finding anything (based, again, on Perception), how many hours are spent searching, and how many Party Members are actively participating in the search.
By way of this Search System, the Player can find Gifts to give the townspeople as well as Key Items needed to progress the story.
I've revised the gacha system to make it a lot less manual effort on my part! So now it'll be a lot easier for me to figure out what our player finds--it's still effort on the player's part though, that hasn't changed haha
Nowhere Xillia AU: The Reaper's Fortunetelling Tent
As you journeyed into the deserted fairgrounds, one facility stands out among the rest: a pure white tent with two oversized scythes hung above the entrance. Unlike the rest of the fairgrounds, everything around the tent is pristine-- the cobblestone walkway shines under the light, the grass is finely cut, the tent itself sports no holes or dirt, even the scythes that hang overhead are freshly polished.
Daring to enter the tent, right away you're bombarded by the scent of various cleaning products and floral candles. In front of you is a polished wooden table with a single chair. On the table is a crystal ball surrounded by a deck of face down cards.
"Ah, the humble traveler from out of town has stepped into my domain," A smooth, somewhat deep voice speaks from.... what sounds to be all around you. But no matter where you look, you cannot find the source.
Paying your confusion no mind, the voice continues, "Does the uncertainty of your future trouble you? If you seek guidance, take a seat and I may shed light on what awaits you."
Player: -offers alcohol to any of the characters <20 yrs- Gaius: You are under arrest for peddling alcohol to underaged people. Come quietly or else.

Character Guide (Extras)
Poppy
Location: Schoolhouse
Town Role: She teaches at the Schoolhouse, though it seems that Elle is her only student.
Affinity Guide:
Positive – She will chat with the player so long as it's not during lesson time, but will allow the player to observe her lessons with Elle. Negative – She will refuse the player entry, and, with a low enough affinity, attempt to fight off the player in order to protect her students. Extra – She earns Bonus Points from a positive (or negative) relationship with Jude.
Weapon(s): Pen Gun, which can found by searching the town.
Gift(s): She will accept Children's Books for a small amount of points.
Food: Once per day, she will accept Mac'n'Cheese.
Character Guide (Spoiler Characters)
Milla Maxwell
Location: Can be found in either the Antique Shop, the Graveyard, or the Forest; guaranteed to be standing outside of the Ceremonial Stones until defeated
Town Role: While she runs the Antique Shop, she is rarely in, tending to be seen in more esoteric spaces such as the Graveyard or the Forest. She guards the Ceremonial Stones from interlopers and will fight to the last to prevent anyone from entering.
Affinity Guide:
Positive – She will chat with the player who manage to track her down with a friendly demeanor, save when they player is near the Ceremonial Stones. Then, regardless of affinity, she will force a fight unless the player leaves at her warnings. Negative – She will attack on sight any player with low enough affinity, but otherwise is content to continue chatting. Extra –N/A
Weapon(s): Rapier, which can only be found outside of the Ceremonial Stones after her fight, so long as she did not join the party immediately.
Gift(s): N/A (see Food below)
Food: She will accept Minestrone (for a larger amount of points) or any other type of food (for a smaller amount of points) at any point.
Rollo
Location: Anywhere
Town Role: He is the ghost that is haunting the town, always in the corner of the player's eye, but never there when they look. He can find anything in town and lead to hidden spaces, but only after being befriended.
Affinity Guide:
Positive – At a very high level, he will come to the player's call. Otherwise, it is pure luck to see him. Negative – At a very low level, he will disappear and never come out. Extra –He earns Bonus Points from a positive (or negative) relationship with Ludger, Elle, Victor, and Julius.
Weapon(s): N/A
Gift(s): He will accept Cat Accessories and Toys, found by searching the town.
Food: He will accept either Kitty Krisps or Royal Cat Food at any point during the day.
Elize
Location: Graveyard or Manor
Town Role: She is a strange child that resides out in the farther-reaching places of the town, or otherwise in places that are difficult for a player to access. Still, her magical abilities, when unlocked, are extremely powerful.
Affinity Guide:
Positive – N/A Negative – Whether positive or negative towards the player, she will tend to ignore them, focusing instead on her songs. At a certain point, however, she will refuse to interact with the player at all if she is low enough. Extra – She earns Bonus Points from a positive (or negative) relationship with Rowen and Driselle.
Weapon(s): Wand, which is found by searching the town, and Teepo, which is found by completing all of the challenges in the Old Carnival Grounds.
Gift(s): She will accept Pink Items for a small amount of points, and Teepo for a large amount of points.
Food: Once per day she will accept a Spiced Chicken Roll.
Driselle
Location: Manor, Arcane Room
Town Role: She rests beyond a barrier within the Manor, asleep, as her life force is drained away from her in order to keep the Cave powered. She is one of the first locks to be opened to move the plot forward.
Affinity Guide:
Positive – As soon as she is rescued, she should be willing to join the party unless her Bonus Points are too far in the negative. Negative – If she is too far in the negative, she will act like she does not believe the player and leave. Extra – As soon as she is rescued, she receives a large boost of affinity points. She earns Bonus Points from a positive (or negative) relationship with Rowen and Elize.
Weapon(s): N/A
Gift(s): N/A
Food: Once per day she will accept Orange Soup.
Muzét
Location: Forest, until after Driselle is rescued, and then the Cave
Town Role: She guards the Forest against outsiders, killing any who dare to enter her domain. If Driselle is rescued, she moves to the Cave, to ensure no one may enter it.
Affinity Guide:
Positive – She will attack the player on sight until a certain point, and then she will ignore them. Negative – She will attack the player on sight. Extra – N/A
Weapon(s): N/A
Gift(s): N/A (see Food below)
Food: Once per day she will accept Fruit Salad, and then additionally, once per day she will accept other fruits and vegetables.
