I'm trying to get my cat used to his carrier. The last few times we had to transport him, it was very difficult to get him inside. So I decided to encourage him to go in with treats. Surprise! He lay down inside. 🍬so sweet

Isn't he cute ? Yeah very cute. This cutie cat took advantage of our short absence (we were in a hurry, but it took literally 5 minutes) to eat the chouquettes I'd just bought.

For those who don't know, chouquettes are a kind of French pastry made of flour and butter, very airy, thin pastry, with air in it, and sugar cubes on top. A chouquette is approximately 1/4 the size of a hand. I've put up a picture so you'll understand if you're not French (of course it's not the one of my chouquettes, since Nouni ate them! 😭 ).

So there you have it, I found the shredded bag... And I had to face the facts... He ate 8 chouquettes! It's HUGE. But he was perfectly fine afterwards, as if he did this every day... He didn't vomit, he drank water, he behaved normally.... Good, I was afraid he was going to be sick after that. We know he loves flour and bread but the few times he's eaten it, he's just taken a little piece. Hence my surprise. 😱

So there you have it, and I've been wondering what to tell you these last few days... we're always surprised by this tabby cat who's always up to new mischief. 🥴

The first time we met Nouni the cat I did not even see him properly. He was hiding under a bed .

Nouni's mommy : Alright, so we're on our way home with the cat, and he's been meowing this whole time.... is he going to continue for the next hour ?

Nouni's daddy : yeah seems like he's a bit anxious.. I hope he's gonna settle down soon.

Nouni the cat : ...meoww 😟

Nouni's mommy : I hope so… it's only been ten minutes and it feels like forever 😅.

Nouni the cat : meow ...meoww 😟

Nouni's daddy : Be patient, sweetie, it'll be okay. Cats are sensitive, but once we get home, he'll be all sweet and cuddly. 💖

Nouni's mommy : In any case, he's definitely a drama queen… the lady said they've done 8-hour drives several times. 🥲

➡️ Before adopting my cat people talked about him like his name was Toby. It actually was a deformed information because he was a tabby cat. We did not know and called him Toby during 1 month before adoption. We were like "who call their cat Toby seriously? Whyyyy? " 🙊😂

You must be thinking my cat is so cute. But I'm going to show you what he's really like.

This was a year ago, three days after we adopted him. He had already taken over the sofa (left pic)and even found himself a bed, pushing the pillow aside to make room for himself (right pic). We were shocked by his audacity especially since he was a very timid cat who hid under the bed for the first three days !
