When you look at me now, all I see is disgust.

In those very eyes that once looked at me like I was the sun, the moon, the stars.

The planet you orbited around.

Funny how that happens.

Because I still see look at you with galaxies in my eyes.

If you saw the little one today that I was years ago,

If you could undo all that you've done...

Would you break me down again

Or lift me up?

Would you stomp on me again

Or safely scoop me up?

Would you show me how to change the world

Or would you tell me to suck it up?

I see her in the mirror now - wide-eyed and young.

I see what I was.

I see what I've become.
