yEAH LISTEN. Those two may be in love and all that jazz but…they’re best friends before anything else. BEST. FRIENDS. THE ABSOLUTE. BEST.

They’re probs really possessive about that title that too even though they probably don’t need to be, but it’s super important to them that everyone KNOWS THEY ARE BFFS 4 LIFE AND NOBODY CAN REPLACE EACH OTHER. Like..think of all the dumb inside jokes they have. And I mean the actual dumbest jokes of all time. But they never get old to them.

They probably make fun of each other like it’s nobody’s business too? Constantly. They do it to show off how strong their relationship is to people. To brag about how it barely phases them if there’s a random insult thrown back and forth because it’s out of love and they just adore each other so much they can’t help but tease each other. but it’s only a dynamic that works between them because if someone else were to do the same thing, watch the hell out, pal. That’s only okay when he says it. vice versa. Granted, Louis does it much more often.

But he knows if he’s about to step over into hurt feelings territory too :///
